Environmental Licences Reviews 

Purchased an upper tier waste carrier licence from this site and received a confirmation email to confirm payment. Unfortunately, I didn't read reviews first as the site looked legit and authentic. Once I read the reviews and attempted to contact them I realised it was a scam. I contacted my bank to report the scam and a case has been opened. I then called the number on the website and threatened to report them to the trading standards etc... I received no response but today I actually received my licence and have checked and it is legitimate. Very surprised.

!!Run like the plague!! charging for a FREE license you would normally get from the gov.uk.... DO NOT PAY ANYTHING TO THIS WEBSITE.

I just wish saw these previous reviews. I also paid for an upper licence thinking it was legit. Unfortunately it's a scam website.

I didn’t realise that they were a Third Party as their status on Google Search.
On my Waste Licence they put my company name as Elite Pipelines Service Limited. A company that I have never heard of!
I had given them all my correct company details!
They charge £124.00 more than the legit Environment Agency for the Waste Carrier Licence.
Avoid at all cost as the licence they issued me is invalid!!
Have emailed them twice - no reply.
I am dealing direct now with NCCC of the Environment Agency.

environmentliconline.co.uk is a scam. DO NOT USE> no company information, no address, no phone number. charged for a renewal which should be free. why is this site still allowed to be up.

Definitely dodgy and scam

Terrible company - pay Google to get above The Environment Agency make the site look official and then proceed to charge much more than you need to pay. Took our money 10 days later still no certificate and when I spoke to the Environment Agency nothing was pending so we had to pay again as our License was about to expire and we would have had to pay the new fee rather than the renewal fee. Tried calling, chat both constantly no answer leave a message and we'll get back - NEVER do. Avoid at all costs!

This has to be a scam. Took money a week ago, no registration, no certificate and nobody responding to my e mails. Wish I had read this page first. Paid via CC so going to report it. This page needs shutting down.

They took my money on 06/10/2022 and nothing happened . They don’t answer the phone or emails . Have paid £328 and got nothing for it . No licence . Nothing . Reported them to my bank as scam . Hoping to get money back . Avoid !

They take your money and don't register you. They don't answer their phone or emails and there is never anyone available on their online chat. Avoid this company.

Very misleading as I thought we were buying direct from the recommended licensing department. Thats not the case, there twice as much money than going direct through the GOV website.

Missleading website got caught out due to looking the same as the gov website charges double what you should pay
you should pay £154 these guys charge £316
was in a rush and thought it way the Gov website due to format being identical
contact number and emails are dud are not monitored

Very misleading website. Charging for free lower tier waste carrier license and over double the cost for a higher tier. Please just use gov.uk

Charges £49 for a FREE licence?
Looks and feels like the Environment Agency website but charges £49 for a licence which is FREE from the Government website. Please don't fall into the trap of paying for something which is FREE.
Took me a couple of minutes to work out this was a dodgy site, especially reading all the terms and conditions, spelling mistakes, typos etc >> this is not a Government Website.
Went back to Google, found the Environment Agency website, filled in a form and hey presto, license issued within seconds for NO FEE.
I appreciate all businesses need to make money - this practice should be banned.

The site appears at the top of google searches and looks and feels like a government site. The actual government site charge 50% of what these guys charge so avoid. wastecarriersregistration.service.gov.uk is the governments own site
