I purchased two Milwaukee type 18v batteries. One battery does not charge the other only lasts maximum five minutes after recharge. Avoid at all costs. Don’t make my mistake better to buy original batteries.
I bought 3 Chinese copy Makita…
I bought 3 Chinese copy Makita batteries, very reasonably priced, within the first month one failed, I contacted Eplus and they very quickly replaced the faulty battery.
Do not buy anything from this company
I ordered two 6ah Makita compatible batteries from this company.
When they arrived I did several tests on these batteries compared to my other Makita and Makita copy batteries and worked out that they were equivalent in terms of energy storage to slightly less than 4ah each. My genuine well used 4ah would last for 7 hours 40 minutes compared to only 4 hours 30 minutes for the claimed 6ah batteries. I ran the same test twice with both batteries with the same Makita equipment in the same conditions.
I complained and to be fair they agreed to refund if I returned the batteries. This turned out to be extremely complicated because most parcel couriers including the post office will not accept lithium ion batteries. Eventually I found that Yodel would and at a cost of £5.71 I returned them to the address given. Eplus having said they wanted proof of postage before issuing a refund then said they now needed proof of delivery. Once that proof was given they agreed to refund my credit card account. However a few days later they credited me with £60.99 despite the batteries costing me £63.99 with no explanation. I have asked as to why they have deducted £3 from my 'full refund'. I have also noticed that they have a clause on their web site that they won't cover postage on returned items. This I find disgusting as every other online retailer will give full refund and cover postage if the customer is unhappy with the product or its defective or not as described. My biggest concern however is the life risk to customers. There has been a lot of publicity lately about cheap imitation lithium ion batteries spontaneously catching fire and in some cases causing deaths. The fact that these are advertised as 6ah and actually deliver less than 50% of the power claimed suggests that they are very poorly manufactured and as such may be a serious fire risk. Other comments from other customers on this web site have claimed that battiries bought from this company have spontaneously combusted which is extremely worrying. My next port of call is trading standards. I have also noticed that if I go on their website now, there is a message warning of supply problems "We are currently facing challenges with our delivery system. Rest assured, orders placed before August 16th will be delivered as scheduled." Also every item you search for in their stock list comes up as "This collection is empty". Both these messages suggest that this company is in the process of going out of business, I sincerely hope so and not a moment too soon.
DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. All batteries failed after about 4 charges. Total waste of money. Have requested refund but have very low expectations of a good outcome
Not a geniune product
I bought a twin Makita Charger and 2 batteries. When they arrived, the batteries would not charge. Also, although it was advertised as Makita it was in fact a copy made in China.
I requested a refund and got no reply. I would not recommend buying from these as I suspect it is a scam
Didnt even lasted a year... No warranty
Batteries suppouse to be 9ah ( they were not mich better then my makita 3ah ones and massive and heavy) I'm not a trade just diy'er who use tools ocasionally so thought those will do, but never again... One lasted 11 months and dont charge anymore contacted eplisbatteries and was told im out of warranty because warranty is only for a year ( i always thought 1year is 12months ... Not for them they dont want to know you after you buy something except if you want to buy some more... ).
Better buy makita from normal shop and cheaper in long run
Eplusbatteries scammers
Just ordered two batteries use DAD8 code for 8% of and batteries upgraded to 9ah batteries from 5ah. When the order was despatched they were 5ah batteries. So I emailed straight away only to be offered a further 10% off. When I said I wanted the 9ah batteries they told me I had not used the DAD8 code . Don’t buy batteries from this Chinese company there cheating people. Roy Harrison
I ordered 4 6ah compatible 18v makita…
I ordered 4 6ah compatible 18v makita batteries in April 22 by October they had all failed, not taking a charge and showing fault on the charger. I sent a video of the faults and ePlus said they would send replacements, its now nearly June 23. I have emailed 19 times to follow up and they have not replied at all, complete radio silence, order no. E28376. awful company, best avoid!
5Ah Makita batteries, rubbish
Bought 2 x 5Ah Makita batteries and stupidly only looked at the reviews on their own website. £47 for 2.
Both arrived and don't last more than 3 minutes in an SDS drill. Rubbish. Total scam site but have been going for years. Don't waste your money.

Purchased 3 18v 5.0Ah for Makita and are next to useless.
You wont be saving money by buying these and no customer support to be able to return.

9ah 18v milwaukee battery
Purchased battery April 22 found it to be less powerfull than genuine 5ah battery and didn't last as long.
However it was delivered quickly and use as spare also cheap.would have given 3 stars if it hadn't packed up 1 year old used about 6 times.
THESE BATTERIES AREN'T ANYWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS MANUFACTURERS PRODUCTS
WON'T BE BUYING ANY MORE
Varon/Makita 18v 3ah
Bought a Makita 18v 3ah just for my site radio, run time was very short from the beginning but 18 months down the line it has now stopped charging. False economy I suppose, I've just ordered a genuine Makita replacement
Was told my order had been despatched
Was told my order had been despatched - utter b***ocks. Courier still waiting for package. Asked for order to be cancelled and money refunded. Still awaiting response. Customer service non existent. Can’t comment on products - not received them. Friend bought Makita compatibles two years back and still working well so thought I’d give them a try BIG BIG MISTAKE. Won’t go there again. Just hope I get my money back
Faulty batteries...NOT REPLACED!
I'm not sure what's going on with this company.
I ordered 4x6ah batteries and a dual charger.
All 4 batteries now don't take a charge. I've recharged 2-3 times max!
One of the batteries leaked all over the charger making it dangerous!
After many tries they eventually sent
2x 5.5ah replacement batteries (not the 6ah I ordered originally)
So I'm still waiting for a further 2x replacement batteries and a replacement charger.
They are still sending me email marketing, which is a bit of a joke!
It shows they are still trading though and are just unwilling to send out replacements for faulty goods provided.
I WOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE IF I WERE YOU!

FIRE HAZARD!!!
FIRE HAZARD!!!! had a "Makita 5.0ah" Battery explode after being taken off change whilst working in a clients garden. The battery self combusted and blew up causing damage from burning plastic to the artificial lawn. I was holding that battery in my hand not 30 seconds prior..PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY, they are highly dangerous, I've contacted Eplus for a response.
Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money. Wish I had seen these reviews first. Spent £205 on makita batteries with them. 2x9ah and 4x6ah. 9ah have less run time in the battery mower than my 5year old genuine makita batteries and the 6ah are even worse. They do not perform like they should and drain to quick. They are nowhere near what is advertised. Have asked to return and get money back and will be getting trading standards involved as well. AVOID AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.
Absolute rubbish

Bought 2 batteries from them for Milwaukee, one went wrong straight away the other is next to useless. Very expensive lesson.
