Karen at Ergonomic Chairs Direct was incredibly helpful in assisting with finding the best possible office chair for my needs.

Karen worked swiftly and kindly, running me through the process and asking the right questions in order to find me the best suitable option I could have.

Once the process was complete, receiving the office chair was quick and Karen stayed on top of communications providing me with helpful updates.

The customer care was outstanding and I have been using the chair at both my home and office locations and they have considerably helped me.

Ergonomic Chairs Direct is all you want in an office chair company.....their product is best in the market and the service levels and attention to detail is second to none.

The online process, requiring measurements, recommended a choice of 3 chairs to suit me. The follow-up visit to the showroom nailed exactly the perfect chair for me.

What with choice of colours, options on castors for hard floor or carpets and armrests, I have ended up with a completely tailored chair for my needs.

Hoping that this is a 10 year+ purchase where c£40 per year is nothing to pay for my comfort and wellbeing. Great value and investment too.

I’d been struggling for over a year to find a comfortable office chair with the right support and one day came across Ergonomic Chairs Direct online.

The range was extensive and I loved the fact I could configure the chair to my needs; however I wanted to actually sit in one before I bought it, an almost impossible thing to do these days. I contacted the company and Karen said if I could get to Leicester she would take me through the range and options. It was such a useful experience and her knowledge was invaluable. After patiently letting me try about 9 different chairs and all the different arm options I settled on the combination I found most comfortable and which gave me all the support I need.

I couldn’t decide between 3 colours so Karen arranged for samples to be sent. Again that really helped as I found the colour I really wanted, but had thought wouldn’t look right in the room, was a valid option.

The chair arrived yesterday and I couldn’t be happier.

The customer care has been outstanding and the chair is really comfortable and supportive.

I originally ordered a chair back in May 2021. The service at that time was amazing and the chair has served me well, still looking perfect and providing all the support I need.

Having just changed my desk set up, I found I needed my chair just a few centimetres higher than it would go, so contacted Ergonomic Chairs Direct to see if it was possible to change to a different gas lift.

Once again, the speed and quality of customer service has been outstanding! Karen replied to my enquiry very quickly, providing advice on how to remove the existing gas lift and advising that she would send a replacement free of charge. When she later realised the lift wouldn't fit my existing base, Karen very generously arranged for a base to also be sent.

It's not often you find this level of after care, especially when the initial purchase was made four years earlier! If you are thinking of ordering but have concerns about an online company, just hit the 'buy' button, safe in the knowledge you're dealing with a company that genuinely cares about it's customers. Thank God for Ergonomic Chairs Direct! I have really struggled to find the right chair for me. After having 3 different chairs over the past 5 years that were supposed to be right for me, I happened upon this company and had the luck of Karen answering my call. I have found a chair that when I sit on it I feel so wonderfully comfortable being at the correct height, seat position and with back lumbar support, all attributes of the chair are easily adjustable. This marvellous chair has helped my concentration when working and has eased my low back discomfort. I never knew such office chairs existed until I met Karen who explained to me all about the chairs and expertly arranged the order and delivery. My experience was amazing from start to finish, Karen spent time listening and understanding my needs, then recommended several options and explained all the available modifications to help make the final choice. I was having so much discomfort with my old chair due to a hip muscle issue so it was worth every penny spending more for a customised one that is making a huge difference. Amazing comfort and customer service. Karen was so helpful and took all my health issues into consideration when recommending the Ergo Elite chair. I had extras of adjustable arms (didn't realise how helpful they would be!), thoracic and lumbar support plus a neck rest. I didn't think it would be possible to support my back so much with an office chair. It has made a huge difference to me already even after one day! It is also really pleasing on the eye. I would thoroughly recommend buying a chair through this company :)

I ordered the Ergo Custom Extra Ergonomic Office Chair and splashed out on the lumbar and thoracic support, the coccyx cut out, the memory foam seat and the adjustable head rest and arms, as I wanted extra support and comfort following back surgery - the total cost was a little pricy but it was totally worth it. The chair is very well made, looks great, feels high quality and most importantly offers superb comfort whilst enforcing optimum posture. In addition, customer services are also really helpful and will help guide you in choosing the best chair for you- there are so many to choose from. You won’t be disappointed

I couldn't be any happier with the service provided by Ergonomic Chairs Direct. Being very tall (6'6), finding the right office chair is challenging and risky. I chose this company because of their great ratings and excellent customer support. Karen was so kind and professional, talking me through options to help me find the chair suitable for me. I had a chair custom made and delivered in just 2 weeks! While the initial chair didn't fit my long back perfectly, Karen and the team have been incredibly supportive and even offered to send a different backrest. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is outstanding. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my experience from start to finish. The communication from Karen has been outstanding - she has guided me along the way to find the perfect chair for me, responding to all my queries with a lot of attention to detail. I was offered a range of fabrics and colours to choose from too, which was a massive bonus. All in all it was a great experience.

The chair I ended up with is absolutely perfect for me. I am petite so it's hard to get a chair that fits me well, and this chair could not be more perfect. I also love the fact that I am able to adjust the lumbar support with a pump. And the seat itself is very thick and comfortable - perfect for long days by my desk.

I don't often write reviews but felt compelled to do so as this company, and Karen in particular, has gone above and beyond. She was very helpful and full of knowledge when we first purchased the ergonomic chair, helping us ensure we had the correct chair to cater for our employee's needs. 6 months on, there was a slight issue with it, but the company has very promptly sent someone out - free of charge - to replace the problem area. Excellent customer care. I would highly recommend buying from this company as they will look after you if there are any issues. Thank you.

Great positive experience. I was asked several questions about my specific needs and given some excellent suggestions and recommendations the chair which would benefit me. It's arrived and it's perfect. The after care supporter has been fantastic too, highly recommend.

Great chair, customised to my needs and with a tilting base to open up the hips, which is important for anyone with hip / lower back problems and surprisingly difficult to find!
Also incredible after-sales service - I changed my mind on an option and the sent out the part for free, next day delivery! Can't recommend them highly enough :-)

From the moment of my first enquiry, the team at have been incredibly helpful, friendly, customer-focussed and professional; Karen in particular has been amazing!

I started looking for a new chair around Black Friday 2023, and from the moment I went on to the Ergonomic Chairs Direct website I knew they were customer-centric; they have a tool that can help you focus on which chairs would be best for you based on your personal dimensions, which highlighted to me how much they care about the fit of the chair and a customer's health when sitting in it. This played out exactly, as when I phoned up, Karen clearly answered all my questions with an in depth understanding of both the products and the needs as a user, alleviating all my concerns about chair size fit whilst outlining the add on and alterations that could be made to each chair. Even once the chair had arrived, Karen and the team were wonderfully patient and helpful. I felt the seat size didn't fit me correctly, and so they talked me through the potential replacement seats, shipped the one I wanted out to me, sent me visual and clear instructions on how to complete the seat switch, and plan to organise the collection of the old seat from me. This is all because they really care about us, the user, making sure you sit healthily and comfortably. I recommend them 100%

I ordered the Petite Elite chair and the back rest is very supportive with the inflatable lumbar support. The downside of the chair is the seat is hard and uncomfortable as it does not have enough cushion. I can't sit on it for very long even though I ordered the extra memory foam for an added £25. I will need to order an extra memory foam pad to sit on, not what you expect when you pay close to £500 for a chair. Disappointing. Also, make sure to note that the gas pump size starts at 8" and if you are shorter than 5'7, you may want to order a smaller gas lift (I am 5'6 and I didn't know that 8" would be too tall for me when I bought it). I am now having to purchase a separate gas lift as a result as mine doesn't go as low as I need it.

What a great company. I ordered a chair and being rather short, it was too high. Karen couldn't have been more helpful and instantly sorted it out for me and helped again when I had trouble putting it together. Highly recommend this company and the wonderful Karen.

We recently purchased a chair for our daughter and can only agree with the many other positive reviews. Until we started looking we had not appreciated how much there was to consider and just how many companies sell chairs! Sooo pleased we came across this company and the lovely Karen who could not have been more helpful. The chair itself was extremely easy to assemble and built to a very high standard. Based on our experience we would not hesitate to use this company again.

There was unfortunately a lot of miscommunications and complications with their delivery partner which was very frustrating, but the customer service in helping me deal with this was above and beyond! I received my chair in the end and would highly recommend this company despite the delivery delays based on the customer service experience!
