Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 73 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall, often describing the game as a psychological experiment in endurance rather than a tactical shooter. Customers frequently reported severe performance issues, including poor optimization, constant crashes, random stutters, and memory leaks, making the game unstable and frustrating to play. Many also expressed dissatisfaction with the developers, citing concerns about the player experience and a perceived failure to address long-standing bugs and cheaters. Reviewers also highlighted issues with the game's economy, progression, and balance, with some feeling that the game forces players to spend more money or engage in specific activities. However, some people also felt that the game offers a realistic shooter experience with diverse maps and engaging tasks, suggesting that negative feedback often stems from the game's challenging nature.

I had 150 euro for EOD edition back…

I had 150 euro for EOD edition back nearly 2 years ago to support the game with the promise being the highest payed tier and early access to new features and dlcs, now bsg as sh#t on everyone that owned EOD can made another 250 euro edition of the game replacing EOD. This is a shame how a company can turn soo money hungry and literally kill their player base by doing something so stupid like this. Maybe they don't know if no one buys their game they aren't going to make money

bsg added new dlc and locked eod…

bsg added new dlc and locked eod players off from it even though eod is supposed to include all future dlc.

this is a long time coming but since 2020 its been a rocky road of nonstop horrible changes as well and a severe lack of bsg taking community outcry seriously.

the release of unheard edition was the final straw that broke the camels back.

Since 2016

Since 2016, players have supported the developers by purchasing the highest edition of the game. For 8 years, we've been recommending this game to friends, bringing more and more players into the community. And what was the developers' response? They've blown us off, refuse to comment, and only encourage those who have lost all respect for themselves and continue to pour money in. I personally had high hopes for Tarkov. In my eyes, it was a high-quality and most ambitious product on the entire market. This is unacceptable. This is selfish. This is disrespectful. You've disgraced yourselves completely. You've lost loyal players, you've betrayed the idea. It's disgusting. To everyone who feels the same way - don't be silent. Spam, make memes, spread the word wherever it's relevant. This cannot be tolerated.

Scam Game

If I could leave a 0 I would but where do we even start? Rampant bugs & cheaters the devs refuse to do anything about. Now they remove features from the E.O.D edition and change the wording to not give those with E.O.D features they where promised. Good way to kill your game and a good way to end up in court.

Scammed "Edge of Darkness Edition"

Hi, I am sad to say that the favorite game and developer has now scammed me. I bought EOD for a future proofing to continue playing this game for multiple years as DLCs and all other updates would be included. Approximately bought the game for around 150 euros which is indeed very expensive, but for a game this once was, it was nothing. This game was one of the best games on the market, but it has now dug its grave.
Best regards

Pay to win

Pay to win, removing previously promised content for those who spent $150 for it. Highly recommend other shooters that are available, Tarkov is not worth it.

Paid 1200DKK for a beta cheater game.

Paid 1200 Danish krowns for the Edge of Darkness tarkov edition. They promised access to all DLC and future content. Now they dont give us access to it. The russian company makes Putin seem like a nice guy. Also, their customer service is 1,5 month to answer tickets.

They scam their customers.

They scam their customers.
In simple a while ago they offered a £100+ purchase for one of beta game packages called of the game called, EOD or Edge Of Darkness. Which offered all subsequent dlcs and all content that is to be released in the games future. this is complete lie. They've removed the EOD of their page in "preparation for full release"
But only a couple months later to add another package costing over £100 more pounds ontop of the original £100+ i've already paid. Or if you havent brought it before you ahve to pay £250+ for this version of the game. and no we dont get a free upgrade for this "new package" to the game. They scam their customers and only want as much money as possible
