This is a replacement pair of glasses, the original pair of green transition lenses went yellow blotchy/stripey in the sunlight, this replacement pair are only a year old and doing exactly the same thing.
If this problem not happened twice I would be very happy with the glasses.
At the extortionate price I expected much better quality.
In February 2021, we bought 8 pcs. Varilux Physio (4 green Transition and 4 Gray Transition). 4 of them turned yellow/brown before February 2023. We wrote to the Essilor authorized optician but never got a reply. The 2 glasses also have stripes in Transition in sunshine. The other 4 glasses are fine. The 4 lenses that fail are in Lindberg frames. Is it a coincidence or is it due to the thinner and stronger type of glass that Lindberg frames require? In that case, Essilor should not put Varilux Physio in the Lindberg frame. In Denmark, these glasses cost a lot of money. When we had the Varilux Comfort in the Lindberg frame, we had no problems with color change or shades. What is the explanation?
