rudest staff in Winchester bar end ESSO when confronted about FOUR missing parcels. they were unwilling to help resolve the issue and did not apologise for losing my property, and were totally unbothered - ridiculous when there is a digital record of it entering the store.

Put pump nozzle into my car. Nothing happened. Eventually saw to press yellow button which I did. Nothing happened. If you don't want my money then you won't get it. Drove away.

App charged for the fuel used, while also holding £100 as pending for over 48hrs. Customer service are useless on the phone and no response from email. Deplorable service levels.

Withheld £70 for petrol then took the £43 the petrol cost as a second transaction. It took 6 days of emails and phone calls to get the £70 released. Won’t ever use the app again to pay.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I had a problem with a delivery of a parcel and the staff were so very helpful. They kept a eye out for my package to arrive and kept it in safe place until I collected it. Thank you so much.

No windshield liquid on the full station. Millions to rebuild the gas station but not few bucks for a minimum service.

Took a parcel to the Esso Garage in Wolverhampton to be returned via Collect Plus and the parcel has gone missing. Caused hassle having to contact seller who now have to investigate what has happened to the television. They said it is now an investigation between Yodel and the Esso Garage. Yodel went to collect the parcel and tracking states it wasn't there. Luckily we have proof of return but it has put me off using the garage in the future for collect plus services.

The esso gas station in Kirkland Lake did not accept my Esso gift card. It seems there is always some excuse why they can't accept it. Somethings going on that customers are not aware of or the esso station is doing something shady.

Cash payments only…. With no explaination as to why? I said I haven’t had cash in 3 years why can’t I pay by contactless? No answer. “ you can use the hole in the wall 1 metre away to get cash out….” ( Me thinking - Ohhh does it take phones now??? As I don’t even carry a wallet anymore.) Useless not helpful In the slightest then turns her back to me and walked off ignoring me… great customer service! Won’t be using Esso in wells again.

Staff service is diabolical…. I do my best to avoid at all costs the Downton Road branch

They don't respect the price, they put on internet 1.949 and in reel it's 2.069. Not honest

Takes 1-2 weeks to get an answer from customer service email, then they tell you to email 2 other emails incase they don't receive it. Never ever buy their gift cards got robbed $300 took photo of gift card bar code missing and nows it over 3 months and still I did not get my refund and they approved it twice through separate emails and lie that they sent me a no reply gift card and did no go through junk mail... then their circle k bs... same crop.

Been trying to use the app for a while with no success. No matter where I go I get a ‘seems to be a connection problem’ error. And as I’m writing this with an internet connection ……
Time to remember and use non Esso where I have a choice until this is sorted I guess.

Went yo inflate mobility scooter tyres at my local esso garage in harlow some how the machine deflated tyre completely and despite putting more money in it would not reinflate ended up getting a taxis to transport scooter home and paying £35 plus £15 taxis to sort tyre out tried initially to get help from station attendant he just did not want to know

Took 2x £100 when using the app. Filled up with £60 of fuel..the app didn't recognise this so I had to go in the garage to pay and now 3 days later they are still pending the £200. Have rang esso several times and emailed them..no help at all. Avoid using the app it doesn't work.

One of the staff keeps coming up with lies as to why they can’t take my parcel with collect plus. Today he told me that they don’t take parcels on weekends when it clearly says on the website that this is a 7-day week service. 3 minutes later, he told my partner that he doesn’t have the space for it. The amount of times I’ve come here for nothing. Disgrace!

Have just cancelled our business contract, it appeared Esso (Wex Fuel Card) have been charging 5-10% more than the Esso fuel garage pump. They were not sending weekly price updates in the past year so they were then charging what they liked. Been with them for over 2years and no compassion to a refund or goodwill. They are not competitive to the market today as they say in their welcome pack.

I used the app last week as a guest user, for days it had “pending” In my bank account for two separate sums of £40 (I only took £30 diesel) today nearly 2 weeks later I have a letter accusing me of stealing fuel on camera with a bill for double what I actually took, all the time I thought I had used the app & waiting for them to take the money , they knew I had used it because of the pending.. what a joke & embarrassment! Now I have to waste my morning trying to sort their mess out, app is getting deleted & I will never use Esso again
