Excellent service at Evans Halshaw in Cardiff when purchasing a replacement car from Finlay. He was courteous and knowledgeable, explained everything clearly and gave details of the vehicle whilst on the test drive. Highly recommend Finlay to anyone looking for a replacement vehicle.

My mum recently purchased a car from the Cardiff dealership and had a great experience.
The staff were friendly and knowledgable and couldn't have been more helpful.
Their aftercare has also been fantastic.

Purchased a used car at the Evans…

Purchased a used car at the Evans Halshaw Newport dealer. The car generally was fine although there were issues. the customer service is abysmal. Despite numerous emails asking for various things from "Did you receive this email" and "can you please confirm XYZ" no response. I had to initiate any contact. When I did manage to speak to someone the excuses were many and varied. An apology was given, however my general dissatisfaction with Evans Halshaw Newport will not diminish and I would advise anyone thinking of using them to BEWARE.

Terrible

Terrible - my Vauxhall combo was recovered there last week due to an emissions error. They decided the fault needed a software update. They charged me £286 and we collected it on Friday - by Tuesday the same error occurred again which leaves my car unable to start. We had it recovered again to Vauxhall Evans Cardiff. Again they put it on the diagnostic machine and the exact two errors that were on the previous test came up. This time they said it was the turbo charger that had been wrongly fitted by another garage. Why didn’t they pick that up the first time? Anyway they did nothing to my car apart from plugging it into the computer and charged me £156. When I complained that the faults were the same as previously and it was unfair to be charged for the second diagnostic test, The customer care was awful - I had to ask their representative to stop interrupting me and let me finish. All in all I have paid £390 in diagnostic tests at two Vauxhall Dealerships in the last three weeks all reporting the same faults- position of turbo. Thankfully I have now taken it to a non Vauxhall garage who have fixed the issue.

Superb customer service as usual from…

Superb customer service as usual from the team at Evans Halshaw, Cardiff. Rhys was professional throughout and went above and beyond to help me with moving my shopping bags from the courtesy car back to my vehicle. He also went through each service item on the service booklet and reminded me to get my tyres changed as per the service recommendations by the mechanics who also carried out the vehicle maintenance in a timely and efficient manner. The vehicle was fully valeted for me before collection. I couldn't have asked for more. All in all, a great value experience that you can always look forward to at Evans Halshaw Cardiff.

Ryan Reynolds was incredibly helpful when helping me choose my car.
