Purchased a van from Evans Halshaw Urmston. Terrible after sales experience. Problems started a couple of days after purchase. Had to wait 10 days for the van to be seen too. I advised the dealership I was happy to wait upto 2 hours for them to resolve the issue when I came in as they don’t do loan vehicles APPARENTLY!. I waited 4 hours in the dealership 4 hours to be told part on order.
I also raised the issue of worn wiper blades streaking the screen, after 4 hours with them not replaced, Adblu was showing low and indicated warning sounding after 2 days of purchase.
I was told they don’t check that when selling.
I was Advised to email Head Of Business. What a joke he is could not even be bothered to make contact.
I compiled an email 7 days ago no response.
Next call will be a Mcol claim against these guys.

Excellent sales team, very helpful and knowledgeable, would highly recommend going seeing the team over there if your after a commercial /fleet vehicle.

Decided to upgrade to the new ranger raptor (previously owned a wildtrak) sales staff was friendly and knowledgeable and added all the extras I required. Although there is a wait on these models, I have been kept informed of its progress and it’s due to arrive on time. Looking forward to my new raptor.

Went down to have a look at a few vans. Was greeted straight away with the offer of a hot beverage. Always a nice touch.
Got all the information i required and was a productive visit.
Going to have a look over the information received and will most deffinatley be back when ive made my decision regarding a new van

My depot manager got a phone call telling us our van was ready for collection on friday (21/04/23)
so i cancelled all my plans for saturday 22/04/23 which was a day out with my family also i had to get a friend to run me to collect the van (round trip of 40.2 miles) only to be told it was not read and they did not even have the parts.
I was told they had 2 of our vans in but they are from different depots and NOT on the same phone number.
This is not the first time this has happened and no doubt it would ever be the last and i have also seen customers there who have been told the same thing and rushed to get to collect vehicles.
Can someone tell me why and what if anything will be done to stop it in the future.

Buying the van went well, it tends to when you're giving money to people, service not so well a failed repair, a mess up with the courtesy van, a couple of fibs regarding the updates, and then a cancelled appointment for the second repair meant we had to change garage, the new garage has identified multiple error codes not mentioned, let hope they are not critical, so as per the norm in the motor trade, service lets the company down. Recommend sales, just go elsewhere for aftercare.
