Mixed bag but really good repair
I bought my Mercedes B class 70 reg in February this year from Evans Halshaw in Horsforth and the start/stop never worked. I contacted them on Thursday last week and was faced by an appalling telephone system which kept cutting out so I emailed them.
Once the person was back in the office on Monday this week the ball got rolling after which I booked my car in for a repair yesterday (Tuesday) which was much quicker than going to Evans Halshaw in Middlesbrough - even though it would have been much closer to home as the earliest they could fix it was late May!
I picked the car up today - Wednesday - and it was fixed.
Overall a mixed experience but I cannot fault their aftercare once they responded to me.

Great experience with using them for a full service of my corsa for the first time. They kept me in the loop with everything and were very efficient. The car was back with me in 3 hours ready to drive away. Definitely recommend.

Service
Took my car in for service under the warranty service plan. The gentleman on reception was very grumpy. I was told it needed new brake pads & discs & a brake fluid change. All chargeable even though my service plan includes brake fluid change! When I went to collect it, no one could find it as there were 3 cars blocking it in. My car is 2 years old & done 9000 miles. An independent mechanic told me the pads were hardly worn & the discs ok.
A good try Evan’s Halshaw!

Shocking just shocking
Shocking. Picked car up and was not cleaned. Broke down 2days after. Went to hull dealer to fix and came back a week later with more problems than it went with. Broke again and went back to horsforth for two weeks delivered back with same faults and a knackered clutch. Sent it back for full refund. Staff don’t listen to you at all or return calls. Car was re advised the day they got it back for more than I paid with the faults not fixed. Finally got a full refund. Never ever use Evans halshaw again
