Still going back forth with the manger

Still going back forth with the manger, having spoken to the customer service team for months. They signed me up to the WRONG contract, and now won’t let me out of it. I suffered a second trimester miscarriage while a member and therefore my head wasn’t in the right place to be checking emails to make sure the staff had done their job. After some back and forth they have allowed my friend out of her contact without any further payment but have refused me. Even though we both had a tour together and signed up together.

Worst Gyms out there.

Everlast Gyms are the worst gym group i have ever come across. been trying to cancel my membership for ages but can never get through and when i try online it wont let me. i finally managed to get hold of someone to cancel then i had to pay for an extra month that i didn't want and then on top of all that they use a company called Termination Experts who send you a cancellation letter and charge you a further £38.50 for the privilege. absolute useless company and would never use again so all you reading this dont sign up with Everlast Gyms, there are much better and cheaper Gyms out there.

Everlast Gyms

Everlast Gyms: An Unfortunate Experience of Contractual Obligation

In a regrettable turn of events, my 18-year-old daughter, without fully comprehending the implications of a contractual agreement, naively opened an account with Everlast Gyms. Sadly, she scarcely utilised the gym facilities and, subsequently, made the decision to terminate her membership when she unexpectedly lost her job. Her attempts to convey her predicament to the gym's staff were met with a request for proof, along with the dismissive assertion that she should have been aware of the cancellation policy. In her pursuit of an alternative resolution, she turned to the online platform, only to discover that she was unable to terminate her membership until she had settled her outstanding debt. Regrettably, this became an insurmountable obstacle as she was unable to make payments due to her unemployment, causing the debt to escalate. Consequently, young individuals like her find themselves trapped in a distressing debt spiral.

Compounding the situation, Everlast Gyms, like many companies, has increasingly shifted towards a predominantly online presence, diminishing opportunities for personal interaction. This absence of human contact has eliminated any possibility of negotiation to alleviate the circumstances faced by affected individuals. Consequently, my daughter now finds herself burdened with an unwarranted debt of £200, despite having refrained from utilising the gym's facilities for several months.

It is disheartening to witness the difficulties encountered by young people who inadvertently find themselves entangled in such complex contractual arrangements, exacerbating their financial hardships. This situation serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of transparent and empathetic business practices, particularly when dealing with vulnerable customers facing unforeseen challenges.
