just don't stay to watch the credits!
first time, nice decor and food, very attentive service. But then really spoilt it as I wanted to stay with my son to watch credits and listen to end music, which some film buffs like to do as mark of respect. Clearly is not allowed at everyman - heard a muttering employee behind me, then a man who presume was manager came to ask us why we were staying, as there wasn't a post credits scene - I told him why but felt disapproval. when we left a stony faced employee passed us, felt all the goodwill had evaporated. really put me off revisiting. Filled out survey which they haven't bothered replying to. Quiet Place, Salisbury, 18.00
Everyman Cinema Canary Wharf is…overpriced - small screens and focused on selling food - not presentation of movies.
Everyman Cinema Canary Wharf is popular, and appears to be focusing on being aa incredibly expensive burger joint that happens to show movies.
Seats are novel, (look like sofas) bit uncomfortable, sound is OK, to overloud and distorted, Some movies are shown letterboxed, when the screen is capable of showing widescreen, they just don't bother.
At £24 I rather go to Cineworld, and get stuck to the seats there for £11...
Poor systems, not recommended
I took out a membership online and my credit card was duly debited the full amount. Then I could not log in to my account, so I emailed Everyman customer services - twice with no response. So I phoned them today, to be told there was no record of my subscription, nor of my emails! I have now had to get the charge re-credited.
Presumably, they have a glitch in their computer system, but I certainly will not take out a membership now, or recommend anyone else to do so.

Bit of a Con
Have a membership with them. Wife wanted to see Present Laughter. Had no tickets left on my account so paid £58 to purchase 4 more. Then found out I could not use them for this film. Complained to Membership help line, totally unhelpful. Local cinemas are good, head office is crap. Be careful dealing with these people.
Everyman York
Staff were very hepful food and drinks were good, service was spot on! Facilities clean and tidy enjoyed my film.
Bought a gift membership for my wife
Bought a gift membership for my wife. It arrived but the website said it was an invalid code. Called customer service and was just told to email a photo of the card and they would get back to me in due course. Not helpful as we were trying to book tickets for tomorrow. The website give a big clue that there system was s**t as it said, we are trying to make sure gift cards and memberships can be redeemed! Trying! Surely, this is basic requirement before selling the things.

Always receive an efficient and warm welcome at Salisbury. It's an excellent experience - great service and staff and, of course, super-comfortable seats with brilliant film choices. Have enjoyed every visit so far.
Thanks, Everyman, for opening in Salisbury
We're regular visitors to Salisbury and since it opened a year ago, its been a great addition to our local entertainment. Great venue and staff (especially the managers), food is OK, some healthy eating options would be welcome! Always a good selection of films, we always feel welcomed and valued.
Best movie experience
we have just moved to the area and discovered the Everyman cinema! It's now our regular treat. What an awesome experience - from the beautiful interiors to the super comfy seats, the food and lovely staff!
One of THE worst apps!
We are Everywhere Members and have been for years. We remained bitterly disappointed by the shoddy app performance. We keep getting error messages and cannot book. Calling customer services gets us nowhere. When we email it takes weeks for a response. Absolutely awful! Sort yourselves out.

I went to see the Bob Marley film One Love yesterday afternoon at the everyman cinema Muswell Hill north London. I was blown away with the decor and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very a coma dating to the customers and drinks orders bought to seats very nice. I reccomend people to visit their local cinemas more often. Great time spent. Very nice
Frustrating experience
Frustrating experience. I purchased an Everywhere membership in July 2023. I didn't know it at the time but as I was one of the first 300 people to buy a membership at the Salisbury Everyman, this meant I was a 'Founder Member'. I was not sent a membership card for months, even though I chased and nothing was confirmed by email. This meant I missed out on Founder Member benefits like free popcorn on every visit, free wine, etc. It just was not communicated, so I have been paying for my popcorn all this time. I mean, it's not that big a deal but annoying. I also had problems where the computer at the cinema tells staff I only have an Everyman membership (6 free tickets) and not an Everywhere membership (unlimited tickets). Staff were very good an 'honoured' my booking anyway and said I should phone customer services as I really should have received a membership card, which would prove I had 'Everywhere'. So then the saga with Customer Services began. They're so friendly but I think really let down by poor systems. I've been sent a total of three different membership cards and they still can't manage to send me the right one despite acknowledging that yes I am indeed paying them £55 a month for Everywhere membership. I'm having trouble logging into my account (it's saying member doesn't exist) at the moment and I've had to email customer services but honestly I do not expect a reply, they seem to ignore all emails. The cinema itself is great but the poor customer service and seemingly endless technical issues are extremely frustrating.
Great cinema let down only by their onbline booking system for single people.
I love this cinema (Birmingham Mailbox). Always made to feel welcome whenever I go. Tickets are a little more expensive but having drinks brought to your seat and comfortable sofas to sit in is great, as is the free drink and popcorn. I wish there weren't quite so many trailers, though, as I've usually fiunished both before the film starts (*grin*).
My only grumble is their online booking system. As a single person I am unable to book one half of a sofa, yet you can if you book in the cinema itself. Screen 1 has 46 sofas and only 2 single seats, so if these two are already booked I am unable to book onle.
Excellent experience, excellent customer service
I do not usually write reviews but I am very impressed by Everyman. They opened in Salisbury in the last year and I have attended on several occasions usually for the live broadcasts or the throwbacks. There are the obvious perks: the seats are extremely comfortable, the popcorn fabulously chewy, the value of the throwback tickets is excellent, and the staff are as a general rule extremely pleasant and effective.
We had an incident before Christmas - we went to see the Nutcracker live broadcast but the sound wouldn’t work. It was a disappointment but we were refunded the value of our tickets, given vouchers for two more tickets (for ordinary cinema trips lasting a year), and free drinks at the bar while we waited for the matter to be resolved. The manager addressed us, explained everything and appeared sincerely regretful.
I have today been on the phone to customer service to cancel tickets to a performance this evening as I am unwell. I had thought from the website that I would only be entitled to a voucher but with no quibbling, I was offered a straight refund. There was no queasy, cheesy, ‘I’m-your-best-buddy’ charm school awfulness which seems to be the standard practice for customer service. The operator simply carefully, calmly, and efficiently dealt with the matter with a minimum of stress and a maximum of courtesy. It was the best customer service I have had for years. And no invitation for me to leave a review! I really do think Everyman are setting an extremely high and impressive standard.
This is not just going to the pictures
This is not just going to the pictures. It is a lovely evening out. You feel welcomed, warmly looked after. The viewing feels intimate due to the smaller theatre. The sound system is incredible. Worth the extra money for sure. Salisbury well done. One love
AWFUL AWFUL customer service!!!!
Everyman took over our local boutique cinema just before Christmas. We were pleased as we had been to an Everyman in the past and loved it. I purchased a gift membership for my husband which is where the nightmare begins. Firstly, in spite of me ordering it 10 days before Christmas, it only arrived on Christmas Eve. Then when we tried to activate it online, it wouldn’t let us. So we took it into the cinema (as it had suggested in the FAQ’s) where they couldn’t activate it either. The person helping us said she would contact head office and get it sorted. She said we would hear from them in a few days. Nope. I chased it with a phone call 2 weeks later. The girl on the end of the phone found that she couldn’t active it either but also that the system was down so she couldn’t do anything about it. Then over the next month I have been trying to get someone to help. I have emailed and phoned and also complained. I then receive an email this morning that simply says ‘I have tried the membership online and it works’ (even though we had tried a few days before and it still didn’t work. So they have obviously now activated the membership number and emailed me seemingly suggesting it worked all along and it was just user error. I have never come across such bad customer service in my life. We haven’t been able to use a membership for 6 weeks with no apology at all from Everyman. Such a shame because we loved our cinema when it was a Tivoli but we won’t be going now it’s been taken over by this useless gaslighting company.
Good customer services
Just called customer services to exchange a booking. Nice to talk to an actual human being, and she helped sort out rebooking without too much fuss.
Love the cinema but
Love the cinema , hate the app , been non functional for ages , sort it !!!
Don't even think about calling the…
Don't even think about calling the customer helpline ( 01233 555641) for everyman. They always say that they are experiencing a high volume of calls and then keep you waiting for at least half an hour. Been on the phone for 22 minutes now. Not even a proper que system so you where you know where you are in teh list. Just not good enough for a customer facing business. Either employ more people or sell the business to someone who understands the basics of customer service.
