Given a gift card for my birthday

Given a gift card for my birthday. Unable to use it to book tickets on line due to faulty software. Rang their help? line. Took over 30minutes to answer. Hate having my time wasted. Ask for a complimentary drink to compensate for wasted time but was refused. I certainly wouldn’t consider giving a gift card to a friend or relative as it is just a hassle. Poor customer service

Gift card failed to arrive (so far), customer service beyond poor

Oh my goodness, I wish I had read the reviews here before ordering! I paid £50 for a physical gift card, plus £4 postage for it to be sent as soon as possible. They took the money quickly, but I've heard nothing from them since. I emailed asking for an update. No reply. I filled out the form on their website for an update. No reply. I called the customer service number, but honestly the chap who answered the phone didn't seem to have any clue at all. He was very vague, lots of humming and hawing, I think perhaps he'd not had his morning coffee yet or else it was the Christmas party last night and he was not feeling tip top. Anyway, "Customer Service" was unable to help but apparently the "Voucher Team" can. This elusive team do not have access to phones so I am not able to speak to them. I await in anticipation for a response.

No customer care

Bought tickets and wasn't able to attend. Site says I can change booking but have to call or email. 3 weeks now and still can't get through on the phone, no response on email despite me chasing every day. Trying to get my money back. Shocking company and customer service. They do not care,

We ordered a gift card as a present and not arrived

We ordered a gift card as a present and paid extra for fast delivery 1 - 2 days. We are on day 4 and no card. 4 telephone calls to customer service and an email over 2 days and no-one can help. Were told to expect a call back within an hour after each call as "the new system wasn't working properly"..
Appalling customer service after promises to look into the matter and call back. On top of not receiving the gift card. Total shambles and lack of respect for customers.

It was very confusing and a poor booking system and didn’t look like his ticket purchase went through so we went and purchased another e-card and got charged twice by myself at the similar time purchased a gift card just a digital one not a physical gift card for my dad as a birthday present. I’ve been charged £45 but still have not received an email to my dad for the gift. It’s been weeks now. It is incredibly hard to get hold of anybody at the cinema there is an email system where you can query but no one responds and seemingly nobody demands the phones. It’s such a shame because it’s a lovely cinema but the online booking system and digital side of the business really needs massive improvement. Will not be using this gift service again and warn anyone Who is thinking about purchasing E gift cards or gift cards as Christmas presents.

A JOKE OF A COMPANY

I’ve written to the Everyman head office several times in the last year since my bad experience over a year ago and I’m still waiting for a response - as other reviews have said they don’t care - I hope they go bust they deserve to.

Inefficient Customer Service

I’ve supported The Mailbox, Birmingham cinema since it opened, however as of now, I’ll be watching my movies elsewhere as the customer service has shown to be beyond unsatisfactory.
I’ve sent an email, filled in the contact form on the website, sent a DM through Instagram & called the only number I could find, yet zero response from anyone.
Due to work commitments I simply wanted to change my booking. The website clearly states that if you need to change a booking simply email us. “Our phone lines are very busy at the moment, so it’s much faster to email us. Please send an email to… with your request and a member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.”
The email was sent at 14.48 on Wednesday, tickets were booked for Friday at 18.10. Is that not enough time to get in touch with someone or does a delayed response mean you don’t have to change the booking & you get to keep my £39.45!?!

Service has gone downhill

We went to the Everyman in Lincoln last night, two tickets cost circa £28 and two coffees with hot milk to keep them hot and a portion of cookie dough to be delivered to our seats cost an additional £11. We like the cinema seating comfort and space and what used to be good service which is why we accept the excessive charges. We were ushered to the the screen applicable to our viewing and waited for our refreshment. After around 20mins the cookie dough arrived then after another 20+mins after the film had started the coffees arrived luke warm and with cold milk which turned the coffees to barely warm and to cap it all sugar but no tea spoons, with the film having started there wasn't much we could do about it but drink barely warm coffee.

If Everyman are going to charge excessive prices for refreshments it's not unreasonable to expect hot drinks to arrive hot and with tea spoons. From all the food and drinks backing up in the bar/cafe area it was clear the staff were struggling with orders and our coffees had been left standing to cool down which isn't good enough. We'll think twice about going to the Lincoln Everyman in the future as the quality of service during our two years of using this cinema has fallen drastically. My advice to anyone planning on visiting Lincoln Everyman is don't because the experience is no longer as special for the price that it used to be.

Your website is awful

Your website is awful! Please fix it...I have been a member for several years but in the last few months I have had endless problems trying to book tickets as website is not reliable and is often out of service with messages such as 'unrecognised or unsecure protocol'. I've been hanging on the phone now for 10 minutes to try to book tickets but of course because of the website being down I am in queue along with everyone else! Chances are that by the time I get through, the tickets will have sold out....
Surely you must be aware of this problem? It needs to be fixed asap please.

A shame

A shame.

Everyman was the experience that kept me going to the cinema - especially after retirement.

But, too many mistakes now - overly loud soundtracks;
poorly trained, indifferent staff; errors with membership fees; free Monday tickets that aren't free, etc...

My last experience at Oxted was so poor that I walked out of the film after 10 minutes.

These issues exacerbated by a company that no longer answers the phone or responds to email.

I sincerely hope we're not seeing its demise.

Salisbury Everyman Cinema is an amazing place to visit.

Went to watch Blitz, sat in the chilled bar by the entrance and ordered the hot dog, peperoni pizza with a side of chips for both meals.

Phil and the team are amazing and they all deserve a big thank you for the service delivered.

The film was amazing and we have to applaud Phil and team for a great night.

Keep up the great work.

A complete scam

I bought an Everyicon membership in September which includes 24 free tickets (amongst other benefits) for a monthly fee. Since then I have managed to book only one ticket because the website is consistently down, no one answers the phone line and I get no response to emails despite sending five emails and making repeated calls to resolve this issue. I also can't cancel the membership because the website is inaccessible and there appears to be no way to actually get in contact with the company. Daylight robbery.

We visited everyman in Plymouth this…

We visited everyman in Plymouth this evening and from the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome, beautiful decor and the service was incredible. The prices were a little high but worth every penny. I'm a bit of a movie buff but this was a date night with my Fiancée, and it was perfect, just a wonderful experience.
If I could give it ten stars, I would.

Terrible experience from a 'Luxury Cinema - What a Joke!!

My third time at Everyman in Gerrards Cross. The first two times were ok but this time it was terrible.
We were not greeted when we arrived as we have been previously, despite there being huge numbers of staff milling around doing what looked like very little and there being very few customers to service as it was quiet. The bar area was really dirty, popcorn on the floor and sofas, empty glasses and bottles on the tables. Not a good look at all.
We ordered food at the bar around 9pm for the film that started at 9.30pm. It took a long time for the screen to be cleaned and we finally got in about 9.20pm. Part of our food order (the sweets and drink) were delivered within 10 minutes but the Padron peppers did not arrive. We waited patiently for 15 minutes, still nothing arrived so we asked an employee for an update, she apologised and said she would look into it and come back to us. She never returned. We waited another 15 minutes before asking another member of staff who then informed us that the kitchen had run out of peppers!! She did apologise profusely and offered us a replacement dish which we declined. The movie was about to start by this time, but still no offer of a refund? We were simply told to go to the bar after the film and ask for a manager and they'll 'see what they can do’.....WHO SAYS THAT??? Just provide a refund to the card that ordered the food....that's what every other company does!!!! Terrible customer service!!
It was late when the film had finished so we went directly home rather than wait around for a manager, with the view that we would make contact via email to complain.
On google Everyman is listed as a 'Luxury - One of a kind experience'. Is this a joke? The customer service was terrible. The staff, although plentiful, all looked to be young and inexperienced with no guidance.
We were never even asked for our tickets so we literally could have just walked in off the street and sat in empty seats. The staff seemed more interested in gathering at the bar for a laugh than doing their jobs (this happened on more than one occasion just in the period I was sitting in the bar area).
Highly unprofessional and quite frankly an all round unpleasant experience.
We have requested a refund for the food they ran out of but failed to tell us about.....lets see how hard I have to fight to get it!!!

I booked tickets online for a Sunday…

I booked tickets online for a Sunday for me and my partner. I will admit, partly my fault. I didn't know it is non-refundable. However I became very unwell and couldn't make it. I asked if we could change the day! I was told if I pay again, they will refund. So they wanted an extra £36.00 to refund £36.00 which isn't refundable. When I said, you can't refund it as it does state, he kept pushing me to buy 2 more tickets. I miss the Odeon, they didn't try to rip people off!
