Happy members!
Really enjoying my Everyone Active membership at the Acton Centre. A very welcoming environment from a team who are motivated and happy to help get the best for their members. The app for booking classes is easy but we're all a little addicted/competitive! Looking forward to the facilities upgrade that's underway.
This Centre has a Warm, Therapeutic Vibe For Both The Mind, Body And Soul!
This Centre has an air of warmth Warm, pleasant, genuinely concerned and professional in their approach, best describes the staff here.
They have a very wide range of facilities and tailor-made activities for individuals and groups, all geared towards achieving one's physical health exercise goals, generally speaking.
The instructors have sound knowledge and skills pertaining to their individual roles and are gifted at making everyone forget their physical disabilities and temporary setbacks, through their care and reassuring attitude.
They instil hope and self-worth, which in itself is and can be quite a positive mind reset much needed to engage and achieve one's goal on their road to recovery.
From strength to strength Every One Active, keep up the good works.
Great yoga teachers but building management don't care
This centre has exceptional yoga teachers - I attend 3-4 per week and have done for the past 10 years. What is disappointing is the lack of consultation for decisions about the building. After years of failing air conditioning - meaning in the past I once had to wear a coat, now they have FIXED BRIGHT LIGHTING with no control in the yoga rooms. Honestly, lying on your back staring into a megawatt bulb is not good for physical or mental health!

Don't waste your money or time on these poor quality swimming lessons. Wish I had read reviews before signing our children up.
Everyone Active ACTON- EVERYONE RUN AWAY
I’ve been a member for over 3 years and I don’t know why.
Unfortunately I stay because it’s the only facility nearby with a pool that I can afford and sadly it’s not maintained very well. Changing rooms are appalling too.
I pay £42.99 per month for sadness.
Staff are super miserable and unhelpful and they never pick up the phone.
The app never seems to work and sometimes members get stuck with unknown charges for classes that have been cancelled and supposedly not attended.
The cancellation charge for a class used to be £2 and then it became £4 and now (nobody informed me of this) it’s £8.50!!!
You can never get through to them via email, so you must send an enquiry via their app that most of the time doesn’t work (well known for this, super glitchy always technical problems) and then they might get back to you within a weeks time. Maybe.
The ONLY good thing about this leaisure facility are some of the teachers that take the classes.
These classes are my MAIN and only reason for being a member.
But if I were you I’d take a wide berth of this place. Everyone Active Acton EVERYONE RUN AWAY and go to David Lloyd.
My partner has cancelled and had now joined David Lloyd. I wish I could afford to be doing the same.
Extremely disappointed with the service
Everyone Active Acton Centre - I am extremely disappointed with the management and staff at this facility. There seems to be no accountability—employees together with Junis (the manager!) play football in the garden instead of working, and staff (Pepa) at the gym lounge at reception instead of checking on customers. The membership team doesn’t help when reception queues form, and there is practically no management presence in the afternoons. Poor receptionists!!!
The swimming pool is also too cold—it should be 1–2 degrees warmer. The new manager, Junis, appears to favor friends over customers and didn’t assist me on two separate occasions when I asked for help. Overall, poor service, lack of supervision, and unprofessional behavior make this a frustrating experience. Marco is only present in the mornings and has no control over his team in the evenings—Marco, where are you? On the bright side, I’m glad the previous manager, Tanisha, has left, as she was very difficult to deal with. I was looking for staff and waited for 30 minutes, only to later see them all at the Windmill Pub while they should have been at work. So if you looking for someone check nearby restaurants or pubs!
Poor Swimming lessons and customer service
my 3 girls have been with Everyone Active Acton for over a year now, and all 3 have not progressed to the next level, which is remarkable. I wonder if due to a lack of competition for swimming pools, that they realise they can serve up mediocre service. On a different topic, we had my 9 year's birthday party there recently. Great idea to use the pool, bouncy castle etc, but the party service team that day were not present, with the front desk showing a total lack of care for basics we were asking for, in their absense.

I was able to get the bank to refund one direct debit transaction but not the full amount owed to me.
Ive been replied to but no mention of the missing balance.
Highly advise not bothering with everyone active, it's just not worth the stress.

The staff are friendly and helpful
The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and safe. My husband is partially sighted but finds the swimming pool disabled friendly. He is able to enter and exit safely. Also the price of membership is very cost effective for both of us. We both look forward to our swimming sessions each week.

Very bad customer service
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service at your fitness center for the following reasons:
1. I was encouraged to use a heavy weight even after I informed the staff member that it was too heavy for me.
2. A classroom door was open while a class was taking place inside. I stood at the entrance, interested in what was going on, and the teacher promptly closed the door in my face.
3. When I asked the receptionist to see the manager, I was met with the reply "what, what." This response is poor English, to say the least, and it seemed as if I had somehow disturbed the staff member from her gossip with a colleague, as I had been standing at the counter for around 50 seconds unattended.
For these reasons, I am uncomfortable being a member of this fitness center and I have requested a refund of my membership fee
Abusive policies…
A group exercise session was cancelled without a notice, everyone was a the gym when another attendee came up with the news so not even someone from the staff would bother to tell us . It is disgraceful they would charge a penalty fee as a no show up/ cancellation fee when they allow someone who delivers the session to do it. What I am finding the worst about this centre they knew about the cancellation in advance but I got to see the list and they only called around 5 people out of 15. It is the second session is cancelled in one of their centres within 2 days and I stopped trusting their customer service (which seems to be non existence ). Reception and duty manager are lazy and unfriendly to make the whole experience dreadful

Please do not send your children here…
Please do not send your children here for swimming lessons. Two weeks ago I witnessed a small child in a pre school swim class slip and begin to drown, she couldn’t seem to get on her feet. The lifeguard was staring into space completely oblivious to what was going on right by her feet. Myself and a couple of parents shouted to get her attention. Eventually the instructor reached the girl. In addition, there are lots of children with serious behavioural issues who are a danger to other children. My daughter was in a stage 4 class with Bella for almost two years, when I asked her why she won’t move her up to another stage she told me it was because she had children with special needs to deal with and therefore couldn’t help my child. Well thanks for telling me! They honestly don’t care about children’s progress. The place is filthy, staff randomly enforce a rule one week and then stop enforcing it another week. The management is non existent, god knows who the swim manager is! Whoever it is clearly does nothing. Today I witnessed one swimming instructor teaching TWO classes at the same time in the deep pool. Unbelievable!

There are pros and cons but I like it
In general I had a very good experience: we are using swimming pool for begginers for my child 3yo. The pool is very low so can walk by herself on the floor during swimming, so it helps not to be so tired holding the kid. Also it helps to learn swimming. definetly Less anxiety. There are some cons but in general I was surprised that it’s under 6£ (for me and under 5-is for free), the water is warm enough to go with the child. The main cons is that sometimes it’s not very clean in the changing room after peak, which is understandable.
