So pleased with the service I’ve received, it’s been an absolute pleasure dealing with Abigail Ching. Highly recommended this gym and its staff

I’ve been coming here for coming up to a year now and have used the gym, classes and many personal training sessions and couldn’t recommend highly enough! My PT is Melanie who brings so much knowledge and care to our sessions, tailoring my workouts to past injuries and present goals - she’s amazing! Very grateful we have such great staff and facilities locally.

Never thought going to the gym would be for me but now I really love it. Prama with Mel is always a great experience. I’m fitter than I’ve been for a long time. I really appreciate the time Mel takes to explain and demonstrate each station and the fact that she is always watching out for posture and form. It’s hard work but in the group, we have a laugh which makes it seem easier. Mel is one of the most professional gym instructors I have come across. As long as she works there I will continue with her classes.

Overall very kind, polite and professional attitude, easy to talk to and made me feel at ease.

clean place, good facilities , nice helpful staff

Awful childrens / toddler swimming lessons. Cramming far too many into a tiny pool, it's absolute chaos. Then when asked to move class because there are too many they want you to continue paying even though they admit they are over subscribed. Horrible experience. (facilities also so dated)

Dirty gym and studio - floor in the studio was sticky and dusty, gym had mud everywhere likely from all the kids that were using it when I visited.

Crowded, lacking machines

Gym is excellent and well equipt and kept nice and cool in the summer would be better if the staff kept the tissue didpensers full so people could wipe there sweat of the machines other than that issue the gyms excellent

Nice centre friendly staff would have given it 5 stars only for the cost of badmington court £18.00+ per hour

I regularly go to Pilates classes run by Mireille- at Chesham & Berkhampsted.I can honestly say she keeps my body working and is always friendly, positive and informative if I have any queries.
I also use the gym at Chesham which is always clean and the equipment is in good condition.

I’m a member of everyone active and try to go to the gym twice a week after school with my 12 year old son. However, it’s often hard to go as my son has to book a 10 slot only 11-16 slot where the gym is supposedly supervised every day between 4pm and 6pm. We don’t need this supervision as he is with me but it’s the only way we can go and it’s the only time we prefer.
More often than not looking around the gym I hardly ever see supervisors, however as I’m with my son it wasn’t my issue. On Tuesday I felt as if there were more than the allotted 10 children in the gym. There was one boy using equipment with his socks on and his school shoes beside him. At least 3 boys in a group jumped over the barrier without tapping in.
We had nearly finished and were just going to do a few reps on the weights. I approached a machine and sat down and immediately a young boy said it was his. I replied that if he wasn’t on it, it wasn’t his to use. He continued to tell me to get off and that he had been resting! In my eyes resting is sitting on the equipment and having a small break not standing up chatting to friends. I refused to get up and he started to become quite threatening standing next to me with other friends beginning to come over towards the machine also. He told me to ‘calm down love’ which I responded don’t love me I’m old enough to be your grandmother. His response was ‘then if you’re that old why are you at the gym?’ I was absolutely disgusted. If there had been supervision at this allotted time this would not have happened. I was livid. By the time a member of staff did come in and try and sort it out I was so angry. I told him about boys jumping over the barrier and that it looked as if there were more than 10 children in the gym. He got defensive about this and said this couldn’t happen. I told him to prove it and check the supposed 10 children. He said he couldn’t. I walked out so angry and upset with the situation. I tried to contact everyone active but the only way is through a contact us on the website. I didn’t want to speak to the manager of Chesham as in all the time I have been there I’ve never seen her and it was her I wanted to complain about as it’s obviously their management that has a mainly unsupervised gym! This surely is against their insurance policy? The whole experience has left me feeling disgusted. It is now Friday and everyone active have still not contacted me!

Friendly gym with helpful staff, good range of classes.

I really like this leisure center, the equipment is good, a bit of everything you'd want to do. And if you don't fancy the gym one day, you can do classes or go swimming, all included in the price. The gym is clean and the staff are helpful. Plus you can go to any other location in the country that has the same or lower price, so really convenient.

Just wondering when the maintenance team are going to rectify the problem with the steps/handle holds on the north side of the pool? It's really inconvenient having to move over to the south side of the shallow end of the pool to use the steps.

Overall very good experiences in both the Gym and Swimming Pool but more attention could be given to those swimmers not adhering to swimming lane etiquette, as they cause problems to other vulnerable swimmers.
