Parking is no go
Sunderland Gym: Only parking is stadium parking, which parking eye now charges £4 if you stay anywhere past 2 hours, which is joke. But today, tried to go to the gym at 6am and all the car parks were locked down, so no where to park. Its not even a match day, so there was no excuse. Signed up for another gym instead.

Swimming at Sunderland aquatic centre to…
I visited Sunderland aquatic centre to swim and it was an enjoyable experience. The lanes are not too crowded, the staff are friendly and the centre is clean. The inflatable session was just ending when I arrived and everyone seemed to have had a good time.

It was easy, the staff are lovely (even let me borrow a token as it was my first time there). I had no trouble asking for help. I was guided to the correct facilities as I ended up in the wrong pool. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I 100% will be returning to continue my weight loss journey.

Friendly and helpful staff, good social environment to get to know people with similar interests. Would have been 5 stars, had it been that maintenance was higher up on the agenda. General areas seem to be always clean and tidy, so top marks for that too.

There are a lot of new fitness machines…
There are a lot of new fitness machines in the gym now, unfortunately there wasn't a lot of instructors on duty when I was there. So it was a bit of a challenge to do the work out. Maybe it was just a one off but I couldn't see anyone on duty at the time

I have tried calling and waited for over half an hour, for the phone to cut off. I tried calling again and no answer!

Great session with Liz
I attended an Aquafit class led by Liz which was excellent as she does a good workout but sadly this was her last week as Leanne returns from maternity leave (but Leanne also takes a good class) There is a shortage of good instructors so please find another space for Liz.
