Serious fly infestation problem in the swimming pool complex - showers, toilets, changing cubicles infested with weird small flies for months now. I’ve seen the same flies sitting on unflushed poo in the toilet and then flying off to sit on walls and off to changing cubicles. Yuk. Raised with management multiple times. Each time told the problem is in the drains/sewage system and nothing they can do. Yet they raise membership fees several times a year. Hygiene levels are very poor all around. Same poo marks on toilet cubicle walls and mould in the shower month after month, year after year. Most hairdryers have been broken for months now.
Farnham location - most shower cubicles in the female changing rooms have a ton of black mould at the back of the door - you can only see it if you are in the shower cubicle with its door shut as doors open inward. Raised multiple times…I guess it’s impossible to get mould remover products nowadays.
Management needs to take an interest…
It’s time the management did something about the majority of complaints here and on Google if they want to keep customers. There are other gym/pool facilities in area. The main pool is grubby with unknown dark debris at bottom of pool. Surely the pool should be properly vacuumed every day at the bottom? Can’t vouch for the gym facilities but the pool area needs an over haul. Some locker keys have broken straps so are useless too. Management should look round every morning to see what needs to be done.
Miserably cold swim for family session
We attended a family swimming session today and the conditions were extremely poor. The water temperature was freezing (more than usual) hot tub not on, the air temperature was also very cold, and the facility area were uncomfortably cold.
Many other swimmers were saying the same thing and clearly uncomfortable as well. It was completely unenjoyable and honestly miserable, especially for children. This is not what we paid for and not acceptable for a family session.
Standards need to improve if this facility expects families to return.
Smelly, dirty
This unfortunately is our local pool. It's dirty, smelly, and no one seems to care.
Bins not empty in the changing area and stink in the heat, filthy around the side of the pool, especially for kids classes; parents not enforced to remove shoes before going poolside.
Black mould in between tiles on the floor, rusty water drips everywhere.
Filthy changing rooms and awful shower facilities.
If you don't have to, don't waste your time or money here; go to Alton or Bordon.

Completely shocked at the state of the taro now days!! Dirty nappies on the floor in the toilets. For AT LEAST 2 HOURS! Plasters floating in the pool staff was made aware but weren’t at all bothered. The rust in the baby pool and other areas. Vile! The sides and bottom of the pools were geeen!!! Algae green! Won’t be surprised if me and my kids are poorly tomorrow!! 25 years of using the taro. Ended! I will never visit again!! Shameful.

No music
No music! No motivation! The worst idea Everyone active could have had ! This has changed the whole experience and if instructors and customers don’t like this change, I fail to see why it’s not revoked now.

Rubbish music!
Everyone active centers from May 1st have not renewed their music licence. The music the instructors have to play for all classes is just awful!!!! Instructors can only use their own play lists if they resign and go self employed. Thus cost cutting is disgusting with the rise in NI used as an excuse. My membership has just gone up too. Music is so important when exercising. No thought given to members at all.

Very poor on every level
Very poor on every level. The equipment is very dated, but it would not be too bad if it was clean. And the pool and health suit area are just disgusting.

Decent enough gym but could do with some new equipment. Calve raise machine, hack squat machine to name a few.

Petersfield Taro
This review is regarding the Petersfield Leisure Centre.
Whilst the staff are nice, the centre is old and tired. Constant roof leaks in the gym when it rains and dated equipment.
The gym is on the 1st floor, so whenever anyone does deadlifts it shakes the whole gym floor and causes an awful racket below where the reception is situated. I’ve even seen children cry in the play area because of the noise.
The gym toilets have not been updated in decades and the shower rooms are dirty with blocked shower heads.
Lucky for this leisure centre, there are no other gyms close by so they do not have any competition, however I am hoping a new gym opens in the area soon, as it is simply not up to scratch.
Much cleaner
I went back to the taro and they have taken on board my comments. They were cleaning the changing rooms and pool area when I arrived, it was considerably cleaner than when I’ve been before. I will look forward to my next visit

Infuriating on line processes
I have been visiting my local leisure centre for over 30 years. t helps me to keep fit both in the gym and through swimming; first with children and now with grandchildren. BUT the recent insistence that I must do everything online is driving me to distraction. This morning, for a simple swimming session, I wasted more than an hour grappling with the app. I can't change my credit card details on it, I can't change the password, it keeps playing music at me which I can't stop. I realise that Everyoneactive has to save overheads by getting rid of staff and making the customer do the work but far from encouraging me to keep fit - an everyone active aim - their discriminatory use of online bookings is driving over 70s like me away.

Good centre
Good centre. Need more tutor led classes. Too many video classes.
More choice. But overall a good experience

I only use the gym at this centre. Good range of equipment, apart from mat space for floor excercise. There's not enough of it. The staff are friendly. Much cheaper than the alternatives I checked out in London.
