Upgraded from two stars to four stars

I upgraded this from a two star to a four-star since the time I put this in myself and the Midas GM were pushing the claims department pretty hard to get it going. When I was told 24 to 48 hours that time frame was just unacceptable as I'm stuck paying for hotels. Once we were able to get directly to the claims person they were able to process what they would pay for and so now my Jeep is getting worked on and be ready tomorrow morning. Props to whoever was monitoring these reviews that you responded. If your emergency breakdowns take 24 to 48 hours you either got to shorten that time or educate your Frontline staff that breakdowns can be processed within a shorter period of time.

All I can say about this company everything breaks do not do not purchase any warranty with them they are liars I feel like they scammed me been paying my payment since April 2024 now that I need help with my car of course they’re only gonna cover a certain amount They’re just horrible please I mean I could’ve even understood that but they don’t even call you back about your claim my car has been sitting in the shop since November 3rd talked to one guy thought he was really gonna help me which lied to me too never called me back or emailed me back anyway if I could prevent anybody else from going through what I went through please please do not purchase a policy with Everything Breaks.

Our records indicate that the repair facility you selected required parts to be purchased directly from Nissan. Under the terms of your service contract, we are required to source parts through our approved suppliers whenever available. These may include new, remanufactured, or used parts of like kind and quality. Because Nissan declined to accept parts from third-party suppliers, we were unable to proceed with the repair at that specific location.

Regarding the $185 charge, this was the facility’s diagnostic fee. This fee would have been covered as part of your claim had the repair been completed and paid.

We also reviewed your billing history and confirmed that a refund was issued to your credit card for the duplicate charge that occurred in August 2025.

Our goal is to provide transparent communication and reliable service, and we remain committed to assisting you. If you are willing to take your vehicle to a repair facility that accepts parts from our approved suppliers, we would be happy to continue processing your claim.

My elderly mother purchased a vehicle…

My elderly mother purchased a vehicle service policy from a company called Everything Breaks. She paid her monthly premiums as required. When her vehicle needed repairs, the company denied coverage because she did not have an oil change done by a “licensed maintenance facility” during the eight months she owned the vehicle.
This requirement was never made clear at the time of purchase. Most people perform oil changes themselves or use small local shops that are not “licensed facilities.” Miraculously she did actually get an oil change and save the reciept and submitted it. Now they say she reported the wrong mileage intially, without emphasizing the importance of being exact, current mileage is 5000 miles less than she estimated when she started her coverage. The company’s refusal to cover repairs seems like an unfair and deceptive practice — taking money for a policy but then using unreasonable technicalities to deny legitimate claims.

If this is regarding an actual account with us, we genuinely want to help. Customer care is our top priority, and we’d appreciate the opportunity to look into this properly.

Thank you for providing the policy number. The contract was registered with a starting mileage of 130,000. However, the reported claim lists the vehicle mileage as 128,539. The service representative has requested that the contract holder provide service records or other documentation to help verify the correct starting mileage. Someone from our claims department will be contacting Ms. Blackburn about the repair.

We acknowledge the customer’s frustration and appreciate their understanding. However, we are obligated to follow the same contractual provisions for all policyholders.

The repairs have not been denied, and the claim has been approved. We simply requested verification of the vehicle’s current mileage and maintenance records, such as oil change receipts, in line with the policy requirements.

Per the service contract, customers are required to maintain proper documentation and verifiable receipts from the vehicle’s original purchase date. These records must include the year, make, and model of the vehicle, the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), the current mileage at the time of service, and the date on which the maintenance or repairs were performed.

These documentation requirements are in place to ensure that all covered components have been properly maintained over time, which is essential for validating future claims. In this case, a mileage discrepancy was identified between the mileage reported at the time of contract purchase (130,000 miles) and the mileage at the time of claim (128,539 miles). To clarify this inconsistency, we requested a copy of a maintenance record to better determine the accurate mileage at the time the policy was purchased.

We encourage all customers to retain verifiable maintenance and repair records to help ensure that covered claims can be reviewed and processed efficiently in the future.

Signed up in July, and it has been a total nightmare with this company. Very rude agents and no communication with the payment department. App has never worked and sales team well there sales. Not very informative on the contract. Cancelled and a few months.
