Tried to sign up for a new account. They charged my card IN FULL and then told me my card wasn't approved. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS. They are saying they sent the money back for weeks and HAVE NO INTENTION OF SENDING THE MONEY BACK. Thieves.
I am dealing with Stacey - won't give her last name for obvious reasons - she'd be unemployable. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH ONLINE.

Kept charging me for months after we cancelled. Offered me “maybe” one month credit as consolation. The fact that they are 2 stars tells me everything. They are frauds. Probably just grabbing every dollar they can until they are shit down.
And as a reply to their “response”, I will reiterate that eVoice still has not returned the extra charges after they did not turn off my service when instructed. Just read through these reviews and you’ll agree that they consistently rip off their customers.

Evoice customer support is none existent. And good luck on trying to troubleshoot any issues... They will never answer the phone.

I have been an eVoice customer for years and they have always had good customer service, but now there customer service is non-existent. I call them and sit on hold for an hour at a time and no one answers. I opened up a repair ticket and they are ignored.

I use evoice for my small hotel. I've been using them for 5 or 6 years. I'll say overall it does what I need it to do. I have 2 lines through them and I can set up call routing, forward to different numbers, phone tree, etc.
It does take a bit of tinkering sometimes to get things set up, but I've typically had very helpful support people over the years.
A lot of people are complaining about billing issues or terrible support people. That hasn't been my experience at all.
I give them 3 stars for three main reasons. The app is like 80% functional overall. Sometimes I can't text from it, sometimes it just doesn't update with my recent calls or sink properly to the web version.
I find their interface kind of clunky and can't wait to be on a different system.
And my biggest issue currently... for the last several months they seem to have almost no support. They've stopped responding to my email tickets. There's no one answering the chat support right now, and I've been sitting on hold for 43 minutes so far. I've used the "call me back" feature and never heard back. This is the 3rd time in 2 weeks I've been on hold with no answer.
**Update**
I hung up on the phone after over an hour of waiting on hold. I forgot and left the chat window open. After 2 hours someone did finally ping me. I told them my issue (can't make new texts via the app). After 12ish minutes of troubleshooting the tech confirmed it was a bug and passed it on to their developers.

Tried to signup on 01/06/2025 and had error with with payment card type. Called Evoice and sales set me up. After spending hours going through evoice and finding out its not an effective solution for my business I cancelled service on the 01/07/2025. Got my bank statement and evoice doubled billed me. Contacted support and ask for a refund and received no response. Evoice is another company quick to charge and slow to respond to refund cancellation request and double billing fix.
Update 01/15/2025
Evoice left a few messages and emails with the generic response of we tried reaching you blah blah blah. I have emails showing my communication with them was futile before this review. In those emails they persistently stated they could not find my info with any of my information I used to sign up for that service "Except for the phone number assigned".
"NOTE IF YOU GET AN ERROR WHEN SIGNING UP... STOP!
Do not continue to try or your bank balance will diminish with each unsuccessful attempt! Then you have to wait forever to get your money back!

What an unbelievably bad experience, with the product, with their business processes, and most recently with their customer experience. They completely abandoned us. Failed to provide us sufficient notice of actions on our account. And have completely left us high and dry. Do not use this company, ever.

This place love playing games with your business phone line, they will send out an invoice to you on the 11th at 7:58am and disconnect you service the same morning at 8am sharp, WOW 2 mins later. I have never seen any company that does business like that. That crap will ruin your business. And you try to explain it the customer service and they think, that crap is normal. Don't waste your time.

I had a horrible experience as a long time customer with their reinstatement policy that had our phone down for almost 5 days. Yes, I counted the weekend days. I called Evoice back on 5th day and got Shanika in customer service. She took control of the problem. With several callbacks to me so that I wouldn't have to wait on hold for her to deal with the necessary departments and wait for approvals and activation. She has a great calming voice and dealt with me in a professional manner. Thank you, Shanika.
