Customers frequently complained about receiving unexpected parking fines despite having made valid payments or displaying proper tickets in the car parks. Consumers expressed deep frustration regarding expensive penalty charges, poorly functioning payment machines, and completely rejected appeals by the management. Some reviewers were not happy with receiving severe warnings and official notices issued without proper prior notice or adequate communication. Never heard of a more disgusting Company

Never experienced a more disgusting company in my life. Fined me for parking longer than 90 minutes. Despite the fact that their own terms state 4 hours for gym members who input their registration (correctly). Which I am, and I did. Appealed. Rejected, and then denied knowledge of the existence of their own four-hour term. Which is still there. I included a picture of it actually on my google review. Denied it again in court. Have cost me an estimated £2000+. Trading standards, BBC watchdog, and my MP made aware. Flagrantly abusive company. Boss Simon Renshaw-Smith and his wife Karen Gillott just given themselves gigantic pay rises.

Excel Parking – Rogue Traders Targeting the Disabled. Absolutely Disgusted.

Excel Parking – Rogue Traders Targeting the Disabled. Absolutely Disgusted.

To whom it may concern, and to anyone even thinking of parking where Excel Parking operates:

What an absolute disgrace of a company. Excel Parking should hang its head in shame. I parked in a clearly marked disabled bay at Pellon Lane Halifax Retail Park, outside Pets at Home. I had my Blue Badge with me – I am severely disabled, very slow on my feet, and I require time to manoeuvre. I got out of the vehicle and walked around to the back to access my boot. Within SECONDS, a man with no uniform, no visible ID, and no indication he was a parking warden, appeared in front of my car and took photographs. I had no idea who he even was.

I spoke to him immediately. He assured me (to my face) that he hadn’t taken any photos yet – “Don’t worry,” he said. “You won’t get a ticket. I’m just here to make you aware your badge isn’t displayed yet.” LIAR. Absolute deception. He had already taken the photos and the charge had clearly already been issued. A trap. Nothing more.

I appealed, thinking this misunderstanding would be swiftly cleared up. I explained everything – including the warden’s lies, his lack of uniform, the fact I was displaying my badge within moments. And what did they do? REJECTED. No reference at all to the points I raised. Not one mention of the warden being out of uniform. Not one reference to the fact I am DISABLED. My appeal may as well have gone in the bin. It was a blanket rejection with no consideration of the facts.

Then they have the gall to say I can appeal through IAS – but doing so will strip me of the reduced rate and jump the charge from £60 to £100. Punished for fighting injustice. What kind of system is that?

And to top it off – if I don’t pay within 14 days, they’ll whack another £70 on top and threaten to send the bailiffs round. All this… for a disabled person… parking in a disabled space… who had their badge… but just needed a few extra seconds to display it properly. What kind of heartless, predatory, dishonest business is this?

I urge everyone – avoid any car park run by Excel Parking. They are not fit to manage anything. No compassion, no integrity, and apparently no interest in dealing with people fairly. I will be contacting the landowners, the stores (Pets at Home, Halfords, etc.), and encouraging everyone I know to shop elsewhere.

Rogue traders. Liars. Robbers. SCAMMERS.

They are nothing more than utter liars. Normally, robbers are out to mug you in broad daylight – these ones just penalize you and then pass you straight over to the real crooks hiding behind keyboards in some office. Are you sure these aren’t hijackers? Are you sure they’re not modern-day fraudsters? Because all it takes is a few taps of a keyboard, and bang – your money’s gone.

They might not be calling you pretending to be your bank, but the way they operate? It’s the same principle. Lies, deception, pressure, threats. You tell me what the difference is. You’re pretending not to be scammers, but your actions scream otherwise. You’re just a different breed of scammer – the one hiding behind a company name and a PO box.

And speaking of lies, try calling them. The number is 0114 242 1111. Their own phone line says they’re open Monday to Thursday until 6 p.m., and Fridays until 5:30 p.m. I rang at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday – what did I get? “Our offices are now closed.” Another lie. Another sham. Another example of how little they care about basic truth or decency.

Their so-called office is listed as:
Excel Parking Services Ltd, Central Processing Office, 7 Europa View, Sheffield Business Park, S9 1XH.

A joke. An utter con. A company built on deceit, preying on the vulnerable, lying to the disabled, and scamming the public.

Avoid at all costs. And to Excel Parking — you should be utterly ashamed.

Excel Parking Services…

I’m having to give one star because the site won’t allow me review if the star is left unchecked. Parking machine was not working and second machine at Oak Street car park Middlesbrough has not worked for months.
I rang Excel who gave me a code and number to call. The system was not functioning and line kept dropping. On receiving a penalty notice I appealed, unfortunately Excel stated the electronic system is operated by Ringo and Excel have no control therefore my appeal was rejected. The worst part is when I paid the system was also faulty and they charged me twice. I made a credit card chargeback but because the amounts were different Excel challenged the chargeback. Robbers and extortionists with their own rules and procedures.
Trust Pilot are a platform for people to complain, unfortunately that’s all we can do….. complain be as it stands these rogue people can carry on unjustly charging unsuspecting people. Avoid them at all costs, look for another parking space.

I parked in Menai car park Bangor

I parked in Menai car park Bangor, both ticket machines were out of order at the main entrance and have been for a few weeks. I eventually found another machine a few minutes walk away and being flustered only entered two digits of my number plate ,one week later I got a £60.00 fine, I had kept the ticket and sent this as evidence that I had paid the fee,but they replied it was invalid then went to abratration and surprise surprise dismissed the case in favour of Excell, please do not use this car park I don't know how they get away with this corruption

Two nights in a Travelodge car park causes outrageous fine.

I spent two nights in the Maypole Travelodge (Birmingham). I knew that I had to enter my reg on a tablet in reception and did so for both evenings.
However, I received two PCNs for £100 each. I appealed (required two separate appeals) and was asked for proof of my hotel stay. This I provided but have been told that I still have to pay.
I will never use that Travelodge again with its awful car parking management company. BE AWARE!

HAHA EXCEL PARKING GOT BUSTED. Ordered to pay thousands haha. GOOD. About time these parking enforcements got a taste of their own medicine. Best thing is, it won’t stop there. More and more cases are being looked into.

GOOD LUCK EXCEL. You’ll be bankrupt by the time complainants and the courts have finished with you.
