What a wonderful day. Had a feeding experience for my grandsons 9th birthday, with his mum and dad. Jacob was amazing taking us around for the feeding experience. He was so knowledgeable and wonderfully patient, making sure that we all had an opportunity to get close and feed the animals. I particularly enjoyed the Armadillo’s, Red Fronted Brown Lemurs and the Genets. Thank you Jacob, great day!! Grandma.

We had such a lovely time at Exotic Zoo in Telford. There’s loads to do and the animals are great – you can tell they’re really well looked after. The staff were all really friendly too.

Big shoutout to Simon who did our Otter VIP experience – he was brilliant. Really knowledgeable, easy to chat to and made the whole thing feel relaxed and fun. The otters were amazing, such a unique experience!

We’ll definitely be coming back 😊

What a great little place.We had the meerkat experience for 4 people and we all enjoyed it. The zoo itself is well kept ,the enclosures are all really nice and kept clean. A great place for all the family.We will be back in the summer.

We had an amazing time for our anniversary at Telford Exotic. Jacob was an amazing guide for the otter experience, they were so cute and Jacob gave us lots of amazing information and facts. We also got to see farm animals, armidillos, monkeys and my other other half got to pet bunnies. So it was well worth the price, even had a spot of lunch which was also amazing value for the price. Definitely recommend the animal experiences or even just a visit to the zoo itself.

Had a great day out. We met up as a family at the zoo to celebrate our grandson's 2nd birthday. Staff friendly and knowledgable and patient in letting our grandson touch snakes and a tenrac. We were able to bring his birthday cake into the cafe. He had a fab day . Very reasonably price compared to other places to visit as a family.

Fantastic Family VIP Experience

Our 4 adult party carefully chose our preferred animals and had a really enjoyable and informative experience. We particularly enjoyed the very lively red fronted brown lemurs Rose and Lily who jumped between us ( they might be a bit overwhelming for smaller children )
Special mention to Simon our keeper/guide who had huge enthusiasm and passion for his job and clearly genuinely cared for all the animals.
All the staff at the zoo were very friendly and helpful.

I had a zoo keeper experience for my birthday and it was the best gift experience and I would definitely recommend. I will be booking it again. I selected six animals, prepared their food and fed them. Simon was our guide and he does a fantastic job along with all the staff. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time on our experience. I honestly recommend this experience to everyone. The animals are extremely well cared for and I have learned so much.

I was gifted an Armadillo experience for my 40th Birthday present at the Exotic Zoo, what an amazing gift!

I took my two older daughters along too.

Jack was our guide and what a great guy he was. He taught us all so much about these amazing creatures. Firstly we went and met Woody the three banded Armadillo, we got to hold him, whilst learning some fascinating facts about these incredible animals.

We then got to meet two, six banded Armadillos, where we were able to feed and learn more about them. This is an experience I would 100% recommend.

Our first time visiting the Exotic Zoo, and it was wonderful! It was nice and quiet during the week, and we were able to see everything the zoo has to offer.

We had pre-booked an Armadillo Experience, and staff member Simon was such a lovely and knowledgeable host for us - thank you! We also had lunch at the Jungle Cafe with great customer service.

We would definitely visit again! 🐾

We attended the zoo for a capybara experience brought for my sons 12th birthday.

Despite terrible weather and a stubborn capybara called Smudge, we had a great day.

After 2 attempts Smudge was not interested in us in the slightest so zoo keeper Jack really looked after us and made sure my son still had a great day.

We were able to feed the two different species of armadillo and 5 very enthusiastic meerkats who were happy to see us.

Overall we had a brilliant day, Jack went above and beyond to give us both a brilliant experience and I would highly recommend any of the animal experiences or just a normal visit.

We had a Lemur experience and can absolutely recommend this to people of all ages. Loved every minute of it!
The animals were lovely and the ladies in charge really know what they are talking about. We were educated greatly on what was a fantastic day out!

I booked my son the capybara experience as he is obsessed with them! Jacob was our keeper that led the experience, he was extremely welcoming and gave us lots of knowledge on these animals. My son was over the moon with his experience. The price included admission into the rest of the zoo which we really enjoyed. Would highly recommend.

Excellent day out for children and adults alike, and very reasonably priced. There's a wide range of animals to see (some can be fed/petted).
We did the carnivore feeding experience which was really good value for money. Our guide Jack was extremely knowledgeable and obviously fond of the animals. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Haven't been since they moved to the new site but was very impressed.
We had a Lemur experience with Simon and it was brilliant. My daughter loved it and they even let me pay on the day to join in - I hadn't realised the experiences were exclusive and not group bookings. Simon was really knowledgeable and clearly cared a lot about the animals. He was happy to answer any questions and chatted away to make us feel comfortable.
We spent another hours or so wandering round the zoo and every member of staff and volunteer we met were helpful, friendly and clearly had passion for the animals.
We also had a bite to eat in the cafe on site which was lovely and reasonably priced.

I and some of my family came on Thursday for our first visit. I must say how beautifully the park is set out, the enclosures are bright and airy. The large glass screens are great for youngsters and people in wheelchairs to see the animals. We spoke to several guides who were well versed on animal husbandry. We met a corn snake 🐍 and Colin the hissing cockroach 🪳
Seeing people in the enclosure with the capibaras feeding them was fantastic!
There was plenty of room for picnicking, undercover if needed. You do need to be careful of the 🦖🦕 however!

We had our daughters birthday at the relocated Exotic Zoo at Telford Town Park. Definitely 5 stars. We had zookeeper Jack, for the zoo experience package, that was amazing, funny, knowledgeable and could remember the names of every child and adults in our group. We saw/ petted 5 animals in total but then went round the zoo to see the other animals. bear in mind - parking is cash only and was £4 for 3 hours. We will be going back at some point. Very enjoyable and would recommend to anyone.

We had a really great time at this lovely little zoo! The zoo is clean and well organised, with lots of friendly and helpful staff and a really nice little cafe. Lots to see and do, we loved feeding the goats in the farmyard section.
We had also booked two animal experiences - meeting the lemurs and feeding the carnivores - which were amazing! Thanks so much to Chelsea the zookeeper! She was so lovely and patient and so knowledgable and made our experiences great fun. Would definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing experience, thank you so much to the staff for helping me organise this at last minute. I paid extra for the meerkat experience and it was worth every penny but standard entry is very reasonable for what you get, the place is clean and tidy and has great facilities. The lady who did the meerkat talk had a wealth of knowledge and made it so interesting, one of the best animal experiences i have ever done, my little girl was amazed and had the best time ever, thank you to all the staff again who were all so polite and friendly, we hope to be back soon. Absolutely fantastic day with our daughter in law grandson and granddaughter. Lovely place to visit staff are all so friendly.
We had lunch at the cafe food was lovely staff so kind but did feel really sorry for them as people kept complaining about being kept waiting for food , they did explain the was a wait which you could see the would be they desperately need more staff as 2 on the front and what looked like one man in the kitchen just isn’t enough, all the time people were complaining the ladies just kept apologising as it just couldn’t be helped really felt sorry for them.
