I helped facilitate my in-laws move from a 3-story home in Maryland to a 2-bedroom apartment in a retirement community in Tennessee. My in-laws are in their nineties and the move was hard enough on them without the hassle of listing the house with a real estate agent. They did not want to spend any time fixing up the place or having prospective buyers walk through (everything was in turmoil as they sorted through 50+ years of accumulated belongings and memories). Express Homebuyers was the optimal solution for their situation. They got a slightly below-market price but didn’t have to haggle with buyers, didn’t have to fix or improve anything. The fact that Express Homebuyers bought the house “as is” also meant they didn’t have to find a “home” for the belongings that wouldn’t fit in their new residence. The estimator that came out, Kevin Conley, was professional, friendly, and honest. He explained how the quote process would work and made himself available to answer all my in-laws questions. After we signed the contract (all done online with DocuSign), the client team (Kelli and Kim) stayed in communication and were able to arrange a remote settlement appointment in Tennessee. My in-laws received the funds in a timely manner (including the refund of the monies held at closing to cover utility bills). Overall, they were pleased that they’d gone with Express Homebuyers and I was pleased that Express Homebuyers made a difficult transition a bit easier. I would definitely recommend Express Homebuyers for anyone in a similar situation.

Selling our home was a great experience with Express Homebuyers. Their staff are great to work with and during our selling of the home, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Kelli Wells who was on day to day dialogue with us during the entire selling process is the BEST!! She provided all the help we needed and was very timely in her responses. All through her responses to us was immediate or at the most within an hour or so. She was available and accessible to answer all our questions and address our needs at all times. This is the ONLY house we sold with absolutely no effort from us ( in reviewing and signing the documents and prepping the house for sale) We had to do nothing except wait for the settlement deposited and get the cash deposited in the bank. All in All this was the best house selling experience ever. We will definitely go back to Express Homebuyers for any future home sale.

I called Steven about buying my home. He tried to get me to sign a "DocuSign "contract after I told I was not interested. DONT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS.

Do not waste your time with this company. They contacted me just before COVID-19 began in February, even though we were not originally interested in selling, and said they thought my house was worth $750k -$775k, and would buy for around $740. The market for our neighborhood picked up significantly this spring and summer and we are receiving several calls from realtors wanting to sell it for the high end. Express Home Buyers has called repeatedly asking to buy it before we put on market with a realtor, so I finally talked to someone today. The rep was unprofessional, arrogant, and told me the value was between $750k to $700K, and any offer "would start with a $6". I told him I was not interested, I know the market and will work with a reputable agent. DO NOT use this company or at least their Northern Virginia office.

My wife and I are looking to retire to North Carolina, Instead of 4-5 months of having a realtor show our home, before it would sell, (we have been watching the real estate market, (homes that have sold especially on our road), we were willing to take somewhat of a loss to to sell quicker. Century One wanted to list it at $139,000, being it is in an excellent school district, located near state parks, skiing, walk across the street to fishing, walk to a sports complex, (little league field, soccer field, etc). Without even looking at it, and after not returning a call, they promised to, I called the next day, to send pictures, of the entire property, recent survey, big private back yard, there will never be a home built across, or behind it, (we have owned it 25 years). Without even looking at it, STEVEN told me they would have to put 20 to 30K in it, to turn a profit, selling it. Then, the ultimate insult- he offered me $40,000 for it, stating it was in the country, and too far from any metropolitan areas. Scranton, Pa. is app. 25 minutes away, and Wilkes Barre, Pa. is app. 35-40 minutes away. They just want to take advantage of people in hardship, not people who don`t have to sell, and are inquiring selling to them for the convenience. You cant buy an acre of land in Greenfield Township, Pennsylvania for $40,000. Don`t believe any videos, or testimonials of sellers to these con artists! They are not honest,

Express Homebuyers were quick, professional and did everything they said they would. Their quote was higher than what any agent was willing to list the property at and I didn't have to waste my time with listing and showing the property. I would definitely do business with them again in the future.

Quoted me a price and then tried to give me a lot less. When I wouldn't except their offer they had a open house where a private investor purchased my home for their quoted price. They are untrustworthy and fail to keep their word.
