Its been 6 weeks since they first spoke to me about the home purchase. I was told Id receive a follow up but none came. I got an email from a Realtor wanting to list my property traditionally, but no valuation no offer to purchase and I could never get anyone to pick up the phone or reply to email. I reached out over 20 times in a 4week span only to receive a text message response to my voicemail indicating someone would follow up soon. Nothing!
Thats 6 weeks of wasted time already. Certainly not fast or easy.

We received the following email out of the blue.

"Do you still own ### *** Cir? I'm asking because we're currently acquiring homes in your neighborhood. We’re looking at properties like yours and I’d love to connect. I work for a company that's been in business for 22 years. Let me know.

First of all the address does not have a home on it. Second, the land can't be built on. Obviously, they didn't do research or they wouldn't have contacted us.
We didn't give them our contact information and don't appreciate being spammed.

Don't waste your time like I did, just put it on the market. All homes in any condition can be sold on the traditional MLS. There's not a single reason to sell to companies like these, unless you want to lose a ton of money on the deal. Extremely low ball offer, many lies, just don't do it.

What a great experience all around! I was in a situation where I needed to sell my townhouse quickly without laying out any money for maintenance or repairs to move out of state. I called Express Homebuyers because my mother had sold them her townhouse in 2006 and she had an excellent experience dealing with one of the company founders. A representative did a walkthrough of my property, made me an offer, and the sale closed less than two weeks later. The staff at Express Homebuyers were all very friendly, attentive, and non-judgemental. I would recommend this company to anyone in a similar situation.

Seamless and worry free from beginning to end! Everyone on the team was simply amazing. I cannot thank them enough for all they’ve done. They really took care of EVERYTHING!! By the time I reached my closing date, I felt like a hot knife through butter.

I relinquish all my rights of May 2023 to the property. I thought that this transaction will be a quick one,but this is not the case. Once they had possession of the property the phone calls stop.. I have left several emails and voice messages and no one has returned my call. I don't understand what is going on because this was a cash purchase property when I purchased it. I finally got in touch with someone in the month of June of 2023 and was told that the $5,000 that was held and escrow I will received once the property was sold. I was never given this information during the closing process sign paper. October 2023 property was sold and I am still waiting today January 19,2024. and know one has reached out to me up to this time. This has caused a financial hardship in my family and causes us to be homeless with no fix address.

They made the whole process very easy and stress free. Were always reachable and helpful.

I was not pleased with the process. It was not very transparent. Initially, received an offer to purchase my home after about 2 weeks of discussion. Then about 1 week before the first closing I was informed that they couldn't purchase the home. I was offered what they call a hybrid solution where they list the home with one of their local partners in the area of the property. I agreed to that solution, but information was slow in coming or no existent during the process. I called, emailed and sent text messages requesting a status. These reports were very slow. I even had to ask if the property had closed on the schedule closing date. Bottom line, I got the money I wanted out of the property. It didn't happen in 7 days as the commercial implies. I probably could have gotten more money had I sold it myself or worked with a local realtor myself. Or it could have taken longer and yielded less. We will never know now that the deal is done. You be the judge 12 weeks from first call until closing. I still don't have the closing documents that show the total disbursement.

Would definitely recommend them! Working with Express Homebuyers was a great experience. They were upfront about the process and communicated well and in a timely fashion. They listened to what we needed and adjusted the process so the sale was efficient and convenient. It did get slightly confusing when we worked with the closing company. They also did a great job, but I ended up working with several different people which got a little confusing but they were happy to clarify and give extra information so I was in contact with the right people.

Working with Express Homebuyers was a bit difficult in the beginning. It was a arduous process. Although we had difficulties they resolved the situation well, were honest and followed through on their word. I appreciate the experience of working with an honest business.

Had an excellent experience with Express Homebuyers!

My brother and I had rented a property out for years and knew it needed expensive updating prior to putting in on the market. We weren't interested in the expense, time or headaches involved with remodeling. I happened to be in town one week, so we decided to see what Express Homebuyers would offer for it 'as is.'

After a phone call, they met me at the property the next day, had a look around, and asked what we'd like to get to for it. They agreed to the amount on the spot, and even gave me overnight to think it over. Since I live out-of-state, and my brother was unable to meet them in person, Express Homebuyers, at their own expense, sent notaries to our homes to do the paperwork.

Sure, Express Homebuyers renovated the property extensively within a short period of time and sold it for quite a profit, but my brother and I profited by not having to spend months and money renovating from a distance. We sold the property to Express Homebuyers for a fair price and had our money in the bank within a couple of weeks, so I don't begrudge them their profit. I highly recommend Express Homebuyers.
