I was felt that the support was there for me at the beginning and the understanding. To be told later down the line, l can not get a representative and l should go into a hotel room, which is not right. I do not feel l am being heard or understood.

I appreciate your invitation to contact the office. However, my concern is not a misunderstanding but the lack of support I received before my court hearing.

I felt that my concerns were not fully understood or taken into account by Mr C Barkema. During our discussions, I explained that my home is not simply affected by damp and mould. It is part of a longstanding, blockwide infestation involving neighbouring flats above, below, and beside mine. Treating only my flat will not resolve the problem because the infestation is structural.

In the past, contractors carrying out kitchen works encountered such a severe pest problem that they refused to continue.

I also raised concerns about the proposed hotel accommodation. I am the legal guardian of my niece, and I asked practical questions about meals, laundry, and furniture storage.

My original offer was for a two bedroom decant property, yet this was suddenly changed to a hotel, with the suggestion that I should bear additional costs. I do not believe those costs should fall on me.
Most importantly, I am left to attend my court hearing without the support or clear guidance I expected from my solicitor. I needed advice, preparation, and someone to help me understand my legal position. Instead, I feel I am facing the hearing alone.
I genuinely wanted your firm to represent me successfully, but my review reflects my personal experience. I hope it encourages improvements in communication and client support, particularly for vulnerable clients facing stressful housing cases.

I had to make a claim against M & S after a fall in their store, where they treated me particularly badly after the event. Express Solicitors were really great and I’ve just settled my claim. I had various managers of the claim as the year progressed but they were all great. Particularly Georgie Lowe. The customer service and professionalism, plus the real care and empathy shown were top notch and much needed. I really felt that Georgie cared and was really fighting to do her best for me. I got walked through all the detail and everything was made easy to understand. They constantly communicate all the key milestones and updates. I was happy for them to take their percentage cut for all that they did. Excellent.

Express Solicitors dropped my clinical negligence case after accepting a medical expert report that was fundamentally defective.

The report instructed by their agency (Ontime Reports) contained severe template errors, including the full name, injury details, and dates of an entirely different patient. right in the main instruction section. Despite this obvious cut-and-paste job and massive GDPR data breach, the firm accepted the report and closed my file based on its conclusions.

Accepting compromised evidence and relying on it to terminate a client's claim is appalling service. They have left my legal file severely damaged and prejudiced my ability to seek proper legal representation elsewhere. Extremely disappointed and would strongly advise caution before using this firm.
