Quick easy booking. Friendly staff at reception. Quick and efficient service. Have used for many years for MOT, Servicing and tyres.

Very sloppy service. As part of the service they needed to repair a puncture and needed the security nut. They could not find it and in searching they left a bag of tools I had in different place to where they found them and two zipper bags of travel to Europe stuff also left in a different place but also left unzipped! You'd think they would know where it was on a VW Golf. They did not change the dash so its still showing service needed. The guy on reception was more interested in speaking to his colleague and just threw the key to me without any explanation. Not big issues, just sloppy service. Just makes you wonder how well the car service and MOT were carried out. Will think long and hard before I return. Shame road runner tyres closed down. they were excellent

Was first booked in for fitting on Friday 8 Dec '23 at 13:45. 20 minutes before the appointment I was rung by the manager and was informed that the machine had broken down and that I would need to be rescheduled.

I was then rescheduled for today 16 Dec '23 at 08:30.

I rung and spoke to the manager on Friday 15 Dec '23 @ 13:57 and confirmed that:
The machine required was now working
That my tyres were in
Both were confirmed and that I should come as scheduled.

I arrived at 08:30 as per the appointment scheduled. After being at the Brentwood fitting centre for 45 minutes I was informed they did not have my tires so I told the manager to cancel the order.

My complaints are as follows:
> Why did it take 45 minutes to tell me my tires were not there?
> Manager had clearly not confirmed that they were in on Friday when I rang.

I was also speaking to another customer at this point and he informed me I was lucky as this was his 4th visit now to get two tires fitted at that centre.

Ordered a new tyre to fitted on the weekend, recieved a phone call to say tyre is not in stock but they've found similar. On the day my tyre was due to fitted I received another call to say tyre machine has broke! Had to book in for the following weekend. On the day I sat there waiting for 40 minutes to be told they have split the side wall trying to put it on and that the tyre machine isn't very good. Spoke to the manager who not once apologised and was very rude, not even really listening to me. He said it's because the tyre is a run flat! It was not a run flat but why does a company sell tyres they are unable to fit? Won't be using them again

A superb garage with top notch service and advice. Always go above and beyond to help get any issues sorted. Don’t go anywhere else!

Good service job done as expected. However booked my aircon re-gas online, where I put my reg and paid £59. When arrived to the garage been told it’s a “new type” of gas and it actually cost £149 to do. So I had to pay again and call back today to get my initial £59 refund. Not ideal as If I knew it straight away I could probably find cheaper option closer to my house.

I’ve used Formula 1 Autocentres a few times before. Every time they’ve been quick, reliable and friendly. Today Adam and George helped me with a few different issues with my car and the service was excellent. I would definitely go back again.

First time I went to Formula One Autocentres in Brentwood for repair for puncture for My Driving school car,they gave me a appointment straight away and waited less than half and hour to fix,Friendly staff,good customer service and felt very comfortable,definitely didn’t disappointed,I would recommend to all my instructor colleagues,family members and Friends.

Booked car in to replace exhaust bracket and full service
Full service carried out ( no paperwork or reciept to prove either way. ) Exhaust apparently couldn’t be done

My first time using the guys at Brentwood. Absolutely superb. Had to wait a little longer while as govt website had problems getting MOT through. Not F1’s fault. Even so they still kindly charged my low battery whilst I was waiting. Great service, will definitely use them again 10/10.

Both George and Adam have gone above and beyond to help with our cars - we have four cars in the family and take them all to Formula one after trying other garages. Formula One were by far the better service, explained things in more detail and always do there best to fit us in for any problems. We have been very happy with their service and the value for money - exceptional! Thank you all of you!

Competitive pricing, efficient and reliable service, will need to re check tyre pressures.

Excellent service! Went in for a tyre change and was in and out within 10 minutes, quick and easy.
Alex at reception was well mannered and extremely helpful.

I am afraid I do not recommend this garage. Firstly I had booked it in online, but when I turned up on the Saturday they were not aware of my booking. Not opened the email sent by the website I presume? It was rebooked for the Wednesday after for an MOT and service, and I was told 12:15. I turn up at 12:15 on Wednesday to be told I should have dropped it off in the morning (I was just told 12:15 so that is when I turned up). Got a call later that day to say that their MOT testing equipment had broken and I had to wait for that to be fixed for. I had already planned to leave my car overnight as I was busy. The next day I did not hear from them at all, and they did not answer their phone. Finally got through to them today, after they have had the car for now three days, to be told they have not done any work to my car as the MOT equipment is still very temperamental. By this time I had lost all confidence in this garage, and collected my car before they did any work. Do not recommend, although the receptionist was very apologetic.
