Discussing treatment, I even got called a liar on the phone, the man was so so rude, avoid at all cost especially if you a a female!!

I had my tires and front break pads replaced and after a two days I started having warnings that ABS and Break not working it was going on and off and not continuously. I went to see them and although they had no one I had to book an appointment. I did one and on the day they said it's the rear parking hand break although they didn't visually see it and refused to visually check the car and said if they check and it's not the front breaks they will charge me although they cannot repair. The manager is arrogant and very unhelpful. I don't understand with so many negative reviews how the company did not fix this as this will affect the reputation of the many branches they have. So disappointing and unprofessional.

Took my car for MOT and regass air con, was told air con might not work as it was totally empty but to take it back if not. It didn't, so took it back, they redone it no problem, drove home fine, but my window wipers came on sporadically, didn't drive my car till the next day, on unlocking it, the window wipers came on and got stuck, and the air con wasn't working again, called the garage on Monday, was told to bring it back but weren't responsible for the wipers, after looking it up, a possible answer for wipers was, the technician could have knocked something out of place whilst doing the air con, took the car back, was told the wipers weren't down to them, but as soon as I said, they were working fine before it was in their garage, the guy changed his tune, and took it straight in to sort it, another young man brought me my keys and said it's done, but if any other problems occur, to come straight back, he was very pleasant and more professional than the other guy. I do have mixed feelings.

My daughter had a flat tyre and had to get towed to the bury st Edmund’s garage… they changed her tyre and sh e was on her way… the new tyre then went completely flat while driving and we had to get our usual mobile tyre service out who had to put another new tyre on and was told the reason it went flat was because they hadn’t changed the valve…. I phoned the garage to complain about this but was told I was wrong and was absolutely no help! Disgusting behaviour to a customer ! Clearly a shoddy service!

Wouldn’t take my car there ever again , so rude and unprofessional so many garages I have been to since here have all told me to avoid formula 1 and I know that now .
Won’t recommend and won’t be back …..

I was reccomend this company by a friend for new tyres. 1st visit was great, 2 new tyres and a decent price and quick fitting.
2nd time issue with heating, they didn't have the parts to check thoroughly, so couldn't diagnose the problem, still charged me £90. Went to another garage and it was Heater matrix system. (Strike)
3rd time, had a slow puncher, went in Saturday to ask about booking it in, guy worked there said just bring it in tomorrow. Turned up next day to be told fully booked, try Kwik Fit next door. (Stike 2)
4th time went for 4 new tyres, quoted about £400-£500 which I thought was reasonable. Took the car in next day saw the same guy from the 3rd visit. Total cost was over £600. Over £100 of that was a charge to replace the wheel nuts as they snapped. The excuse given was they were too tight. They broke it I had to pay for it.
Will not recommend this company and told my friend who reccomend me to not reccomend this company to anyone else. Hopefully they will now stop texting me that I'm due an MOT. Not a chance in hell I'm going back there.

Not happy with the service,
They have not done all the works as they agreed on their full service list.
One example- door hinges and bonnet latch will lubricate. But I have checked all doors and bonnet, not lubricated, still dry.
If they did not work on visible parts how do we trust them, who knows they completely changed the engine oil and filled with new oil, who knows they changed the oil filter, who knows they changed air filter????
Anyway never again to this garage, never recommend anyone this garage. Please avoid this place.

The only garage I will be using for the foreseeable. I have been treated like royalty by Bart and his team who have exceeded my expectations by a mile on all occasions now, where I feel it is only right that people become aware of such a trustworthy and knowledgeable garage. I can say with confidence that I would recommend Bart and his team to anyone in need!

Booked my car in for a full service and MOT. Excellent service with the guys going the extra mile to get my car into the garage after a flat battery.
Communication was good throughout and it was overall a great servicing experience.

I've nothing good to write about this outfit. My review is similar to all the other negative reviews. In summary service & mot £154 then "extras" a whopping £186. One item they said I agreed to I didn't even know what it was. Driving home the low tyre pressure lights came on. After receiving a call from a manager it appears I was over charged and the pressure valve they use is not sufficient. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere is my suggestion and avoid being exploited and ripped off.

Absolutely horrible experience. My ac system was fine before the service/MOT and after it was not working. They said that it’s not a fault of the service but very convenient that it happens just there. Also the person that I spoke to was rude and out of manners. AVOID GOING THERE

Only reason they're getting 2 stars is because they got me in quite quick.

Came for a full service and MOT. I had purchased the air filter and oil already, but it didn't change the price.

I had an advisory on one rear break pad and quoted me £350 to replace, absolutely trying to rob me. After I said no they clearly got annoyed and became rude. Go elsewhere.

Will not use Formula One Auto services again and would not recommend them to anyone.
Only interested in supplying new tyres after failing existing tyres in MOT. Clearly not happy that I went elsewhere to have tyres replaced, as most unhelpful when it came to rearranging the re test.

Will never use them again, rip of merchants

I have been using this garage for a few years now and they have never let me down. I sincerely recommend it! They offer professional, friendly service at competitive prices. I can be sure my car is always in good hands and is well looked after.

My was done at local main dealer. They wanted me to change 4 tyres and bunch of other stuff. Went to F1 Bury to double-check.
One tyre changed, tracking and pollen filter.
They walked me through and shown everything while my car was in the air. Nothing else was needed.
Very honest and helpful!!

I booked my car in at short notice due to engine problems. Theses guys sorted my car, kept be updated and ensured I was happy with the work that was done.
When there was an issue after collecting the car, I went back and they sorted the problem through sheer perseverance!
They ensured I was happy with the work and had no further issues asking me to call them on my return to my home town.
