John and his coworkers were extremely helpful and informative on my day of visit. They made me feel well supported as a customer with little experience on tyres, brakes and discs. Also, I had learnt invaluable lessons from them on the above matters. I received an excellent customer experience, from tyre purchase with a competitive pricing to face-to-face customer service, and will definitely come back again in the future for any car repairs/services.

Excellent, efficient service. I will be taking my work here from now on.

Staff were super friendly but pricing is insane. They talk about not being beaten on price but to give you an example. They wanted 56 pound to swap out windscreen wipers. Cost me 22 pound for the part and 1 min to swap out. I had paid for full service and Mot. Halfords charge 7.50 for install but F1 advise they won’t be beat on price but yet they are double then other big company. My local garge don’t charge for small bits if you have full service… seems the service more for them to check what else they can sell to you rather then sort car out. Shame as staff are nice….

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at the Formula One branch in Eccles on October 24, 2023, where I had my vehicle's MOT done. While I have generally been satisfied with the service provided by your establishment, the lack of Wi-Fi access during my visit has left me quite dissatisfied.

During my visit, I asked the staff at the branch for the Wi-Fi password, as I had work and personal matters that required an internet connection. Unfortunately, the staff informed me that they did not possess the password. In an attempt to rectify this, I contacted your customer service department, as I believed they could provide me with the necessary information. I was assured that they would promptly contact their technical team to obtain the password and communicate it to the branch so that I could access the Wi-Fi. Regrettably, this did not transpire as promised.

I was in your branch for over an hour, during which time no one from customer service or the technical team reached out to provide the Wi-Fi password. This situation was not only frustrating but also contradictory to the advertising claim that your establishment offers Wi-Fi access to customers. To advertise such a service and then not provide it when requested is not only misleading but also detrimental to the overall customer experience.

I understand that technical issues may arise, but it is essential that customer service concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently. It is my hope that this issue can be resolved and that such incidents do not recur for other customers in the future. I believe that good customer service is a vital aspect of any reputable establishment.

Simply 5* service. John the manager talked me through how to get my car (which was 2 miles away) with a flat tyre to him to sort. All was sorted thanks to John & Lewis. Would I recommend Eccles? - undoubtedly, yes. We have used this place since 2004 & seen it change ownership. In the Eccles garage today, Customer care & customer attention were top drawer and the explanations given were clear. They said how much it would cost, how long it would take and they would keep us informed along the way. And they did just that. No complaints here, all was fine and dandy.

Took my car for inspection due to a noise not sure if it was a rouge golf ball or a faulty wheel component. It was inspected and nothing found, the guy was completely honest where some other people may have seen this as an opportunity to make a few quid. He didn’t and didn’t even charge me for their time. I am amazed and so grateful to him. I have complete faith that these guys will not rip you off and give you an honest diagnosis. Myself and my partner will be using the Eccles branch for all our future work. Thank you x

Called to book my car in as noise coming from brakes. They checked them straight away explaining everything to me and that they were safe. This was free of charge. What great friendly guys at this garage. I am a returning customer and will continue to go here. Highly recommend

We had our cars booked in for tyres to be replaced which we have already purchased via black circle and air con refilled yesterday 13th may 11am ( we have a confirmation email to prove this). We arrived at the garage in eccles to be told that they have booked it for the following day instead. The man dealing with the situation told us there was nothing they can do but to come back the next day. He reassured us that it will get done. We returned the next day at the same time, as was told, to find the garage shutters down. The garage stated the opening times for Sunday was 10am-4pm but arriving at 10:50am, there was no sign of opening. We could see a man inside working on a van, when he caught a glimpse of me through the window he signalled that he was closed. Since we have booked our slot in, I wasn’t happy to be just waved by a gesture and having no explanation as to why we were left unattended. We waited over 30 mins to then finally have the man approach us to say they’re closed today. Now I do find this unacceptable as it seemed like we were the first ones booked in for the day and that they failed to contact us beforehand to notify whatever issues they had that caused them to not open. The man stated that he had to go through other customers about the closure, but for 30 minutes he was working on a van. Where was our phone call?? Why did we have to wait 30 minutes outside when he saw us to then tell us the situation?? If my partner hadn’t banged on the shutter a little more heavy handed, would the man even of spoken to us? He was rude to attempt to say he was making calls when I could see working on the van. He made it out like we was an inconvenience to him when he told us to come back the next day! we are certainly not happy about the service, nor have are we happy how nothing was dealt with. We will not be returning to this eccles garage.

Had issues with my car and the problem was incorrectly diagnosed by this branch. Also lied to by one of the technicians and was told the car needed an update to resolve the issue (I don't think a software update would stop the exhaust fumes from coming onto the car). I nearly had over £1000 worth of repairs that didn't need to be done on my car. I would strongly advise you to not use this auto center.

Had my car go through an MOT and service back in July at the Eccles branch. Since then, my vehicle has been shaking bad when the vehicle picks up speed. According to them, they don't see the problem and they want me to use my time to go to another garage. A problem they created. They want me to pay for the costs once the problem is found and go back to them so them so they can 'maybe' reimburse the cost. A problem they created. My car still shakes and according to them, it's normal. What's normal about a vehicle shaking? Why has this problem started since I had my MOT done there? Why can't they admit that there is a fault caused by them and own up to it? I won't use them again. I won't recommend taking your vehicle for a MOT there.

On arrival at 8.15 the doors were open and a member of staff was already booking customers in to let them carry on with their day as quickly as he could Extremly helpful got the courtesy call with advisories on my service and car condition and was called again as soon as works completed collected my vehicle at 2pm Returning customer very good to deal with and quality service from the staff

I booked online for the air con re gas, I made an appointment for pm the next day I arrived at 12pm they were very busy, the staff are professional friendly & polite, my car was attended to straight away I waited in reception & I was leaving at 12.45pm.
I would highly recommend this garage & my car is lovely & cool.

Just picked up our car from Eccles…..first class, professional and efficient bunch of guys. Far more competitive than the service costs at the dealerships!!

Booked online Thursday as I had a problem with a tyre then the branch called me and said sorry there's no way we can do that today it will have to be Sunday 4 days on, the guy apologised and said unfortunately the website is always doing this to us we have no control over it you are better to ring us directly the diary doesn't work properly. I asked for a refund and was told that I would have to ring head office. I did and even though they already had my money I was told it would be 3-5 days before it showed back in my account. I asked for a same day refund and was told it doesn't work like that, I asked to speak to a manager and she also was intransigent on trying to get it repaid sooner. To summarise, they take your money, cant deliver the service and then hold on to your money. Will not use them again ever. Will go to a more ethical company who delivers what they take your money for.

Reply to Formula One - what is the point of contacting customer services I have done this once with no help forthcoming at all.

Went into the Eccles branch was amazed at the customer service from Daz. he couldn’t help me enough what an absolute legend . If you want fair play get yourself down to the Eccles branch I was honestly amazed in what he did for me hope his boss sees this and gives him a pat on the back

The staff at eccles branch are awesome. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and always happy to help, In particular Daz who has helped us on many occasions. Employee of the month !
