I took my car to the Hardwick formula one centre in kings Lynn to see if they could diagnose a braking problem. The staff there were fantastic. At very short notice they sorted out the problem for me and sent me on my way a very happy chappy. I always go to the centre for mot's and services for both of our cars and will continue to do so because of the staff there!

When I got the car back the EPC warning light was on. I rang the manager who said he would get back to me but never did.
I looked under the bonnet and saw a wire pulled loose from the HVAC pump. Had this repaired at a different garage where they found a blown fuse which, when replaced, cleared the EPC light.
A few days later I had an in car warning to check tyre pressures. When I checked the front tyre pressures they were both half a bar above the maximum recommended pressure for my vehicle.
I would not recommend this garage to anyone.

Polite and positive staff and prompt service.
I am extremely disappointed with the service at Formula One Autocentres (Hardwick Road, King's Lynn). I booked an 8:30 AM appointment on 13/03/2026 for a tyre change (Ford Fiesta, 195/50/15) specifically to make it to work on time.
When I returned after 20 minutes, I was told that my locking wheel nut key was damaged and they refused to change the tyres unless I replaced the key at my own expense. The damage was clearly caused by the technician's improper use of the tool.
After I demanded a repair or a written declaration of cost reimbursement, one staff member finally agreed to fix the issue. I waited over two additional hours. While the tyres were eventually changed, the problem with the locking nuts was not resolved. I was told to "just buy a new key online because it's cheap." Currently, two wheels still have the locking nuts on, and I am unable to remove them, which is a major safety risk in case of a puncture.
Most importantly, a staff member eventually admitted the fault lay with the garage and promised that the company would cover the cost of a replacement key. He took a photo of the nut, took my phone number, and promised to call me within an hour after speaking with his manager. As expected, I never received that call.
I have dashcam footage confirming the incident and I am ready to provide it to the head office.
This level of incompetence and avoidance of responsibility is unacceptable. I am now left with damaged equipment and a car that I cannot safely maintain. I expect a senior manager to contact me immediately to resolve this.

Fab service for a new battery for my 'little kia"
Thank you for fitting me in and looking after me so well. Will definitely use again.

I went to Formula One Autocentres in King's Lynn to have a tire changed, and unfortunately my alloy wheel was damaged during the service.
The damage is clearly located on the edge of the wheel, exactly where tire-changing equipment makes contact. This was not pre-existing damage, and I noticed it immediately after the service. I also have photos documenting the issue.
I contacted the shop to address the problem, but they denied responsibility and claimed they could not prove it was caused there. As a customer, it’s extremely frustrating to be left with the repair cost for damage that occurred while the car was in their care.
I recommend that other customers carefully inspect their wheels before and after any service here. The lack of accountability was very disappointing.

I was a damsel in distress..... I had driven into a pot hole and the nearside front tyre was flat!! I drove round to the auto centre. The chaps were brilliant, very efficient in getting me back on the road straight away. Instead of one replacement tyre I had the other front tyre replaced too, glad to give them the business. Thank you😃

I took my car in for a service and MOT recently (17th November). I took the car in with no sensors going off or lights on the dashboard. Once the MOT had been conducted, I got the call to say the car had failed, on what seemed a lengthy amount of things (both rear coil springs, brake fluid change, a new rear tyre, wheel balance, sundries, geometry check inc front toe adjustment, rear toe adjustment, and a precision wheel balance). £640 later (aswell as the £225 for the service and MOT cost), after all the work was done, I picked the car up, and had not even driven 1 mile, and I get a tyre pressure sensor go off telling me that a tyre pressure was low. I could not take the car back that day due to the garage being closed after I picked the car up. So the next day I took the car back and informed the guys that the sensor had gone off, they gave the car a very brief once over and basically just reset the sensor in the car, and said everything was fine with it, and there was not any issue.
I questioned them and asked if the new tyre (driver rear side) was the issue, 1 guy said the tyre had not been changed, and then another member of staff quickly intervened and said that it had been changed. This set alarm bells ringing for me. They said that the new tyre could be the reason the sensor is going off as this tyre needed to be calibrated to the car, but they could not due this, as the piece of equipment needed to do this had been "stolen." So the sensor was reset, and they sent me on my way again
The very next day, the sensor goes off yet again. So again, I took the car back to the garage and explained it had gone off again. Again they looked at the car, reset the sensor, and told me that the passenger rear side tyre is the one causing me issues, and not the new driver rear side.
As you can imagine, I was a bit surprised to hear this, as the passenger rear side tyre had not been touched apparently. They would have had to remove the wheel to access the coil spring that needed to be replaced. I asked them if the sensor in/around the tyre could have been damaged as a result of the work, and they reassured me that the spring is far enough away from the tyre and sensor, so it was unlikely to have been damaged when the work was being done on the car. Anyway, with the sensor reset, they sent me on my way again.
I took a trip to Norwich, I get there, and no sensor had gone off, yet on the return journey, the sensor goes off yet again! so I take the car back to the garage, and explained the sensor had gone off again. The guys explained that the cars sensor needed to be recalibrated to the car.
As previously mentioned, the car has never had any sensors go off in the space of the 4 years I have owned the car. The passenger rear tyre was never, and has never ever been an issue, until I took the car into the garage.
The sensors were all originally calibrated to the car, and now I am being told that the passenger rear side tyre sensor needs to be recalibrated so that the car recognises the sensor, and this will stop the sensor going off. They still did not have the machine for this, and the guy told me that they have had to turn a number of customers away with the same tyre pressure sensor issue, because they are not equipped to resolve the issue. He also said that the piece of equipment costs about 3k-7k to order. I feel this piece of kit is essential for making sure that not only mine, but other peoples vehicles are safe to drive.
Anyway, the chap gets one of his guys (Toby) to look over all 4 tyres and check them to see if there is any issues visible. He finds "a small leak" in the passenger rear side tyre. Why have none of the other guys who have looked over the car, in all 5 or 6 times I have been back, managed to find this, except Toby? Fair play to Toby for finding the issue.
I pose this question to the guy on the counter, and he informs me that it is because the other guys "are lazy." Great customer service!
Toby then fixes the leak by adding some "weighted adhesive sealant" around the area where the small leak was, and said hopefully that will resolve the issue, gives me the key, and I drive away hoping the issue was now resolved.
A day later, I took another trip, and again the sensor beeps at me telling me the pressure in one of my tyres is low.
As you can imagine, this was the final straw. I took the car back in today, and asked them to have another look into the issue, and they said there was no issue found. They said that all the tyre pressures were correct, and they could not see any issue. They gave me the key, and I left.
Overall I will NEVER use Formula 1 Autocentre Kings Lynn again. I feel they have caused an issue on my car, as a result of the work that was done, to try and extort more money out of me. I feel unsafe as a result when driving my car when the sensor goes off. The guy said he has turned 10 customers away with the same issue, THIS IS UNSAFE PRACTICE! something needs to be done!

I had four new tyres fitted today. David the young man fitting them was excellent. He was polite and did the job very nicely. Unfortunately I was then presented with a bill nearly £80 higher than I was quoted over the phone. The manager went to great lengths to explain that the price quoted meant he would lose on the sale. The person who quoted the price wasn’t available (he was out on a test drive). All I was offered was for the new tyres to be removed and my old tyres put back on.
I paid the amount required by the manager but just be AWARE that the price quoted over the telephone may not be the price you are expected to pay.
Very good customer service, very tidy workshop, large waiting room with huge window into the workshop.
Super guys at kings Lynn sorted the issues with my van in double quick time to keep me on the go , would recommend them always good price and great work
I always bring my car here, it might not be the very cheapest but the quality of work is always of a high standard. My car is also not easy to work and despite this they always ensure the work is done quickly. 10/10, thank you.
First class, took car on time and completed their work quickly and efficiently. Was honest and helpful with advice too.
I'd certainly recommend them an will be back for any further work needed.
Had quotes from another couple of garages in the area, these were the best on price at the time and had the availability we needed. Called a couple of times before hand, they were really helpful and polite on the phone and in person. They actually went above and beyond to help us. Great experience and would use them again without hesitation.
1st time I’ve used them,a full service which was meant to include tyre pressure checks, one of my tyres goes down every few weeks and it had gone down the morning of my service so I thought it would get sorted, but it didn’t which makes me question wether the other work for the service got carried out?also my van went through an MOT late October with no advisories & this garage said I needed rear pads & the discs were in real bad shape, bearing in mind I’d done about 500miles since the MOT.

I was fortunate enough to have my punctured loose wheels have their tyres replaced by Kings Lynn F1 Auto Centre.
To ensure I was able to take advantage of the online discount the centre held my wheels from the Friday till the fitting day on Tuesday.
F1 Kings Lynn is my go-to garage when I need professional assistance with my vehicle, MOTs and repairs.
Fantastic service with fantastic advice and customer care. I feel for the staff on the front line having to deal with broken MOT equipment and the customers affected, but I’m sure the staff at the Kings Lynn branch will do everything they can to sort out the issues which are out of their control. Highly recommend!!
I was in a tight spot with a flat van tyre on a Sunday afternoon and needing to pick my wife up 50 miles away in a couple of hours.
Despite not being booked in, Daniel and Alex got me back on the road!
thank you so much to these guys, they made sure that i was happy before they done a few little jobs for me to pass my MOT, they went above and beyond , im so happy , and will be back next year, once again a massive thank you
I had a challenge with a missing locking wheel nut. The team were solution orientated and fitted me back in same day when I finally located the offending item! Couldn't have asked anything more of them
