Formula One Autocentres - Maidstone Reviews 

The Customer Service and General professionalism at this Branch (Maidstone London Road) of F1 Autocentres is awful...! I spent 90 mins sitting in which can only be described as a Greenhouse of a Customer Seating Area 28/09/2024 waiting for the Manager to evaluate the condition of my tyres and give me a price. When i queried why it was taking so long. I got the "I'm on my own here - Sob Story" I would of had a degree of sympathy with him had he been a little bit more civil and polite, however he was goading for confrontation. I did not oblige, we agreed the price and my car was booked in the next day at 2:30pm - NEXT DAY 29/02024 - I arrived on time 2:30pm I was greeted by the Manager who's day had clearly not improved much from the day before "there's a 2.5hr wait minimum mate" I asked why he did not ring me to let me know there was a delay, he said "I ain't got time for that mate" at that point i was ready to explode #imnotyourmate, I was then asked to move my car by one of his fitters, i said "one moment please" The Manager then shouted move your car now I've got MOT's to get out"..... I said no I'm going for a walk I'll move when I return... With that I went across the Road to SETYRES who were professional and polite they matched the price of F1 Tyres and they will be fitting my tyres tomorrow 30/08/2024.. I returned to F1 I did not go back in as I guessed the Formula for Disaster that is the Manager would have welcomed that and used me as a vehicle to vent all of his own issues out on me. I have contacted Customer Services and I'm waiting on a call to discuss with the regional Manager.

Some of the best customer service I have received. Nothing is ever too much trouble, always managed to fit my car in even at last minute! Excellent service. Been taking our car there for a few years for MOT, we stumbled across them when another MOT centre in Maidstone had double booked us and couldn’t fit us in. The team at Formula One were excellent and always so courteous with either myself or my wife. Although the guy completing our paperwork didn’t like the football team keyring 🤣

Terrible service. First time ever used. Booked for 10am, got there nice and early. Was told their fitter not around and would be an hour. Got back at 1100 no work done on car. More excuses. Asked how long I would have to wait. Guy said could not give a time. So took tyres, as they were paid for but they refused to refund the fitting cost, so had to go elsewhere and pay local garage to fit. So avoid this company as what looks like a good deal online is just a con. The branch was Maidstone. First and last time I will go there. Back to Kwik Fit or National Tyres next time. Worst service from a tyre centre I have had since owning cars for 35 years.

Air con regas brilliantly done by Formula One Maidstone, plus a much needed pole filter replacement. Friendly and most professional service, most pleased, definitely recommended!

I have visited the Maidstone F1 Autocentre twice now and I have been so impressed with the care and service afforded to me. I’m an older female and have had many interesting experiences at garages over the years….a lot less than positive!
I went initially by chance, seeking out tyres. The experience was brilliant. The manager, Peter and the staff were exceedingly helpful and communicative. I was dealt with promptly and sympathetically. The tyres were as I requested and at a very good price.
Whilst there they identified, with evidence, that my tracking was out. I knew it was as my steering wheel had a life of its own, with excessive vibration. Again, sorted at a good price and no more vibration.
I got 4 tyres and tracking realigned for same price as 4 tyres elsewhere!
This week I called in for a valve check on one wheel. Same phenomenal service from a very personable professional team. What is more as they didn’t have the valve in stock needed for my vehicle, Chris kindly effected an imaginative repair to keep me on the road and it was FOC!
I am blown away by this autocentre and the staff and that does not happen often!
I will be using them again for services and whatever else they do. A really genuine, happy and motivated team that certainly put the customer first. A rare find.

Insignia front brakes stated grinding badly. F1 gave me appointment within 2 days, on Easter weekend. New disks/pads. Great job done, and fantastic value - thanks to the team!

Booked my VW Polo in for service and MOT. I have used Formula One for many years and never had any problems. Very good service.

A Big thanks for all the people who wrote review on this garage you really did save me money & stress , I booked in for mot but after reading all about this garage I have had 2nd thoughts on it & will not be going there .

I recently booked a tyre fitting service at ASDA Tyres through their online platform, and my experience was beyond disappointing. My scheduled appointment with F1 Tyre Fitters Maidstone was at 14:30, and from the start, things went downhill.

Upon arrival, I was told my booking wasn't in their system, but they insisted on helping me. The staff was initially polite and asked if I could wait an extra hour due to a lack of staff. I agreed, extending my wait time to two hours.

As the hours passed, progress on my vehicle was painfully slow, with the only notable achievement being the removal of both rear wheels. At the four-hour mark, I had to leave for work, and to my dismay, only one tyre had been replaced. When I inquired about the delay, the manager's response was shocking – he berated his staff, shouting and displaying unprofessional behavior.

With little choice, I requested the installation of my spare wheel to leave for work. The manager's attitude during this process was not only rude but also aggressive. I left the garage with one new tyre fitted and the other placed in the boot, despite having paid for both.

This experience was not only a waste of time but also a demonstration of unprofessional conduct. I strongly advise against using ASDA Tyres for tyre fitting. The lack of organization, slow service, and unacceptable behavior from the manager make this establishment one to avoid. I had hoped for a straightforward tyre change, but I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and shortchanged.

Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for tyre services. F1 Tyres has lost a customer, and I will not be returning.

On a trip away from home visiting family. A tyre was going down and my sister and brother-in-law recommended F1 Maidstone. They looked at the problem, saw it was a faulty valve, replaced it and wouldn't charge me. Excellent customer service, would certainly use again.

I really not impressed with the service, I booked for a tyre to be fitted on may dads car as he is 84 years of age and didn’t want to be waiting for ages in the garage only to told that they were under staffed and he had to wait for guy to get back off his lunch break before he could get it done or come back another day which was I feel was a joke as that’s why we booked it in, and they should’ve let us know if they couldn’t do it

Booked an MOT for today, gentleman told me to drop it off in the morning, arrived 8:40 only to be told I was 10 minutes late and turned away. I was not given a definite time and had a major road not been closed off due to a fatality I would in all honesty have been there before 8:30 as I had to be in the office by 9am. This was however a problem, thankfully another garage has stepped up and I shall be using them going forward.
