I hate to hear all the negative and horrible stories... But I've had nothing but really incredible meetings with different people with different tastes.
Ok I won't meet anyone with a blank profile..I chat with people for months before meeting ( unless rarely they are obviously cool after a few days)

More time wasters than there used to be... And people that incredibly seem to be afraid of sex.... When they have it on a plate.... And clam up at the final moment of sorting a meet....

Also many... Foreign..... Chaps who get v angry of you don't come running instantly.

Anyway, I thought it only fair to say I have had literally the most intense experiences of my life, with lovely people.... Thanks to this site.

I'm sure bad things happen... But keeping someone chatting for actually 6 months is a really good sign they aren't really weird, or you know, I love some rough and tumble... But all agreed to in advance.

Be careful, take your time....I don't see why you can't have the experiences I have. Also meet some people from afar, and people like pretty Tgirls Z(who really have a tough time of it... Most nice their profiles so they only message you first.... All the really gorgeous ones, really do get horrible treatment... Again... Dad to say... I have been on Fab Guys since well before COVID.
It is a great site, well run, free and very useable. There is an option to upgrade with few enhancements, such as it allows you to view videos of the minority of other members who choose to post them.
There are a lot of “voyeurs” (time wasters) on Fab’ who just want to see pictures of other members (no pun intended), of which there are plenty. If you write a good profile for yourself, the opportunities come flooding in daily. It is then up to the recipient to establish the genuine ones.
I have met some good friends and some good bed mates on Fab Guys. It’s like everything else in life, you you only get some rewards if you put the effort in.

As with most sites there are to many shooters and time wasters, yet to find anyone decent.

This site is not bad at all, its a bit clunky so you have to be patient with it but kind of enjoying it now. Make sure you setup email alerts so you can see replies quicker as they do not always appear on phone notifications. Two main things:
1. You must be photo verified as soon as you join for anyone to take you seriously. The photo has to be face or a full nude without face. I sent the one without face as I am discreet. I didn't like taking those kind of pictures standing in front of the mirror fully naked with a hand written sign with my fab username on a bit of paper. It took a few attempts before it was accepted and approved. However, it makes sense now as how else can they determine that your not using stolen pics from elsewhere and pretending its you. Its you in your current form and there is no getting away from that do it and you can get somewhere, you don't and you will not get anywhere with meeting people.
2. User verification. You have to meet another experienced user and have a good successful meet for them to verify you. Most here are just regular looking guys who may not be your number 1 but it makes you humble yourself because you need something from them lol. You can't just block them afterwards as the verification will get deleted. This site means you have to humble yourself and not be aggressive like where anything goes like that site that begins with a G which now has turned into advert portal and is too expensive.
The guys here are regular looking guys with regular looking bodies, so if your under 34 years of age and in your prime you may want to go elsewhere as this is not instant gratification. You have to work for it and that takes time.
3. Site supporting (Gold or Silver)
Its only useful if you want to see all of the grid accurately and check how far the user is from you (they can't hide this) and it allows you to view videos.
If you do not do steps 1 and 2 you will reach a dead end. You have to put yourself on the line a little bit to get anywhere, their could be more controls but at least its sincere people your dealing with for the most part.
3, Meet today - There is a meet today icon which allows others to know your available for the next 3-12 hours. You can update the status with wording so people know your exact location and whether your hosting, It makes you look like a bit of a sluut and most often does not work but you do get some leads from users who may not be available that day but you can begin talking to.
Give it a chance but it does not happen overnight and takes some time. People have to understand your sincere and you have to go with someone whose not your type to get somewhere.

What i like about this site most of all is the message filter blocking which allows you to block users from sending you messages if they do not fit the age range your after. Hopefully it will grow more with more users in time

The UK site is appaling. Too much to say, can’t even bother as nobody listens at FG. Additionally, they consider it a crime and suspend your account if you try to promote an event. These guys exist in 1995. They shouldn’t be part of the gay community in 2025. Absolutely disgusted with their approach and they don’t even give you a chance to clarify yourself. Well done for customer service, won’t even bother to get my £5 back…keep it to get a time machine back to 2025!

Time wasters and fake accounts get blocked for you but are allowed to carry on wasting other peoples time

After being a site supporter for over 12 years my profile text was deleted a day after renewing my site supporter pass £25.
I complained to admin and they froze my account. Now I can’t use the account or get to complain to anyone, so £25 wasted. I’ve had problems before after naming and shaming timewasters.
It’s no great loss to me as the site is becoming stale with more timewasters than genuine peeps. Just really annoyed that I had just payed them. Definitely Transphobic imo.

I joined Fab Guys in early August 2025 having had little luck elsewhere and it's the worst gay dating site I've ever encountered. I must stress this is not the fault of the company but the members. Rude, ignorant and illiterate guys who pester me for casual sex despite my profile making it clear I wasn't looking for casual sex with strangers of unknown sexual health status. I have now left the site. One problem I did have with the actual website was logging-in. Despite carefully making sure my username and password were correct, the site kept rejecting them. Eventually I did a reset but using the exact same details and this worked - most of the time.

I had been a site supporter for over 10 years and my account now has been blocked frozen they did something now cant send or receive messages and won't reply to any email or site problem reporting very poor from owners! Won't ever use again rather pay more for a site that responds.
