Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding it virtually non-existent and difficult to reach a real person. Customers also frequently report issues with account management and the appeal process. The website and user experience are criticized for being buggy, having redundant updates, and being flooded with irrelevant ads and spam, making it difficult to connect with friends and family. Some people were satisfied with the platform, finding it a convenient and engaging social tool for staying connected and discovering content, with useful features like groups and marketplace. However, some customers also noted concerns about the marketplace's reliability and the platform's algorithms limiting the visibility of posts from friends and family.

Facebook Support Isn't Just Useless

Facebook Support Isn't Just Useless - It's Basically Non-existent

I've recently found myself a victim of harassment by a Page on Facebook. The page owner took a screenshot of something I wrote on a different website, without even censoring my username there, which resulted in a torrent of abuse.

The Page is owned by a YouTube channel called The Blot Outdoors Show. A couple of months ago on a fan-run page for the channel on Reddit, I made a comment that the channel owner treating cat aids (FIV) as a joke wasn't funny, mentioning that my last cat had died because of the disease. The YouTuber/Facebook Page owner seemed to find this funny and copied my words to his community, which resulted in a lot of mocking of my dead pet and more than one commenter crossed into actual abuse, including claiming that my cat got the disease off of me, in the worst way you ca possible imagine. Such commenters received 'likes' from the page who instigated the abuse.

It is impossible to get this removed from Facebook. The system to report offers no opportunity to actually explain the problem, including being unable to provide proof of ownership of the my account targeted on another platform. You get to say 'I'm being harassed' or whatever words the option uses, then a couple of days later the system comes back with a denial of wrongdoing on the part of the abuser. You get a single appeal - which STILL doesn't allow you to actually explain the problem - which is also summarily denied. They then close the matter entirely.

Shameful, Facebook.

Stuck in a never-ending account lock loop! (15+ times)

I am writing this to express my extreme frustration with Facebook's broken automated security system. My account has been locked and unlocked more than 15 times, and this issue has been persisting for a long time.
Every single time I follow the "Unlock your account" steps and verify my identity, the system locks it again almost immediately, claiming "unauthorized access." I have secured my devices and updated everything, yet this frustrating loop never ends.
It is clear that your AI security algorithms are malfunctioning and harassing legitimate users without any real reason. There is absolutely no human support to resolve this ongoing technical glitch. This is the worst user experience I have ever encountered. Fix this broken system!

Facebook no longer interested in new members

Yesterday I tried to set up a new account on Facebook. I have never used Facebook before. I went through the initial set up procedure up to the face scan and then Facebook said my account was temporarily disabled while they carried out a review. Today I receive a message that reads “ We've disabled your account.
We've reviewed your account and found that it still doesn't follow our Community Standards on account integrity.
You cannot request another review of this decision.”

So I have not got past the initial account set up and I am already barred !!!!!!!!!!

What a complete shambles.

Facebook has become a self absorbed…

Facebook has become a self absorbed corporate entity.
With over zealous censorship and erasure of accounts.
It's now it's own worst enemy
Alienating patrons of the platform.
I have nothing at all positive to offer up about Facebook st this point.
They deleted my account which I have had for over ten years.
They are a platform run by socialist who engage in deception for profits..
They took a great deal of money to rebuke peoples views in vaccine issues during the pandemic
And now they do as they please.
You can hardly contact them anymore because they are far to corporate oriented.
The platform is nothing without it patron's it would just be an invisible billboard.
Apparently I have to give a star rating so I put one because I apparently can't put zero stars on trust pilot review but I would give Facebook Zero if I could.
I'm appalled by Mark Zuckerberg and meta and I know that friends in still in contact with on Facebook after loosing many to Facebooks aggressive behaviour
They are non to pleased at Facebook either.
👎👎👎👎👎 5 thumbs down for Facebook in 2026.
Would suggest they stop pissing of patron's
I'm currently looking at options for better platforms that haven't gone rogue.

Profile deletion Facebook. Facebook where do I start the…

Facebook where do I start the beginning. Let's call all of US punters that's what we are.Everything that us punters post on Facebook is stored which builds your profile. This information is sold to the highest bidder. Now the problem is if you discontinue your membership with Facebook and try to delete your profile it is impossible. Facebook falsely promote the fact that you can delete your profile this is untrue. I'm no fool and have tried and failed to delete my profile. I have signed out and uninstalled the app but Facebook still has 13 years information about political, personal, friends and everything else. Anthony Thomas.4/4/2026.

Disrespecful platform which shows you…

Disrespecful platform which shows you disrespectuous posts all the time even if you don't want to see it. The dating matches you especially with people you don't have any interest in common with so you can never find anyone and keep going on facebook to see their ads. Not to talk about the impact of the ''perfect lives'' images everywhere on the people.

FB has deteriorated significantly over…

FB has deteriorated significantly over the past few years. Now their algorithms prohibit you from seeing posts from family and friends unless you go onto each individual's page, which is unrealistic.

If you violate a policy, they provide you with generalizations without telling you exactly why you are being punished.

Finally, if you send an alert regarding offensive or abusive posts, they come back to let you know that they did nothing.

Today, there are several other options.

Like AT&T, Texas Instruments and Blackberry, FB's utility has been lost.

Facebook account has been permanently disabled

I made an account, had zero activity on it, then i get this message. I didn't even request a review.

Reason i need the account was to buy a secondhand wheelchair for my mom, i live overseas, and only secondhand marketplace here is facebook "sadly".

They have sub 2 stars here. I would recommend everyone to delete their accounts, stay as far away from them. It is an evil godless company.

Your Facebook account has been permanently disabled.

You requested a review of this decision, but we still found that your account, or activity on it, didn’t follow our Community Standards. You can’t request another review.

There are no Standards broken, i made an account, added my name birth, they scanned my face, and banned me, never got logged in.

Maybe for the best, i will find the wheelchair somewhere, maybe this is god preventing me to sign wityh the devil,

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience. The company appears to do little to protect users from hacking issues, and customer service is virtually nonexistent. It’s unacceptable for a billion-dollar company to operate at this level. A serious improvement in security and support is neededThey are so many fake profiles using people’s names.Ridiculous

I signed up to Facebook to join…

I signed up to Facebook to join tutoring groups - of which there are many. My purpose was to adverttise my 38 tutoring years of experience. The moment I opened Facebook Reels, I was bombarded by indecent images of women, degrading them is horrible ways. I deleted those feeds but they kept on returning.

Then the reason why Facebook closed my account was because I mentioned my ENGANCED DBS number on my poster. As far as I have seen, I was the ONLY poster that displayed my DBS number - which should serve as a comfort to parents, about my conduct. No other poster mentioned their DBS numbers.

Decide or yourselves, why I will never use or condone Facebook ever again.
