Zero customer service; appalling website

Trying to sell one ticket from a PDF of multiple tickets. Website says "don't worry, we'll separate the PDF". Listing then rejected because I haven't separated the PDF!?? Tried to separate the PDF myself - listing then rejected because I used a screenshot of one page of the PDF. Noone to phone, no response to my contact form - so frustrating. It's a Ticketline scam to charge yet more fees for zero effort and zero customer service. I am not sure why Greenman and other festivals allow their reputation to be tarnished by association with this appalling company.

Scam

Scam. Ticketline take fees when you buy and fees when you sell via fanticks and then force you to use PayPal without telling you that PayPal will also charge you a fee. Boycotting greenman festival and all these companies from now on, let’s have a fan-made resale site instead of these bloodsuckers

Fees are too high when selling tickets…

Fees are too high when selling tickets and no warning about fees when making listing. On top of that PayPal also take a fee so be prepared to add more than 10% markup to tickets to cover costs. Fanticks is owned by ticket line so yet another dollar into the massive corporate ticket machine.

SCAM COMPANY WATCH OUT!!

If I could rate 0 stars I would 1 star is extremely generous
This company is a total scam and preys on innocent consumers
they stole £200 from me during covid when people needed money most.
I truly believed this company had shut down but now I see they are still open I had to warn others of my experience.
Purchased beatherder tickets in 2020, unfortunately the event was cancelled due to covid but the tickets were never sent by the seller, I contacted fanticks who advised me this is normal and to wait and they would help me if the tickets didn’t arrive, so I believed them: no tickets arrived in 2021 2022 or 2023, I contacted fanticks throughout the time period and they promised I would get my tickets which was clearly a crock of lies and then they refused to help and started to ignore my emails. I was not able to get a refund from PayPal or my bank due to how long it had been (as fanticks had told me to wait until the following year to receive tickets and I stupidly believed them) I even contacted beatherder directly regarding the matter who were no help either.
fanticks should not be allowed to operate and I truly hope everyone who considers using their “service” if it can be called that reads all these reviews and DO NOT BOTHER WITH FANTICKS

Awful website

Awful website - badly designed and almost unusable to list ticket. Absolutely the worst ticket reselling site that I have ever seen - actually, it's the worst selling site that I have seen + that is against some very dubious sites! You have been warned!!!! 😔

Money gone out but no tickets

Purchased tickets for Beat-Herder tickets only to receive a message later that day from the seller to say they had already sold the tickets. My payment of £500+ went out via PayPal to the seller. I am now going through a PayPal dispute claim to get this back as they have gone quiet and not refunded the money. I contacted Fanticks who just said it is the seller's responsibility to refund. Seems to be a major issue with tickets still being shown as available even when sold. Beware!

Purchased 2 tickets.

Purchased 2 tickets.
Marked as ‘shipped’
No tickets arrived.
Seller no longer had them.
Apparently tried to contact fanticks to cancel.
Sat waiting for a week for tickets that were never there!
Clearly the seller did not mark them as shipped, no way of contacting fanticks to resolve quickly and efficiently.
VERY POOR!!

Awful customer service and website

Awful customer service and website. I put up a listing due to a covid case. They came back negative so I tried to access the site to take the tickets down. Couldn't access it whatsoever. Contacted them and had nothing back. The tickets have now sold so I am unable to go to the event and have lost out on money due to discounting them and fees!

Useless site and non existent customer service

Completely useless site. I tried to sell a ticket through them and my listing was pending for nearly 3 weeks! Listing went live 4 days before the event, so no chance to offer the ticket at a massively discounted price. Also don't bother messaging their customer service, they never reply to anything.
First and last time I will bother with fanticks.
A complete waste of time.

Don't sell your tickets with this…

Don't sell your tickets with this website. After one month Paypal will - for no apparent reason - reverse the transaction. And Fanticks customer service will stay quiet about it.

Fanticks have not verified pending listing

Created listing On Sunday for Green Man Tickets, 3 days later (Wednesday), listing is still pending - despite the fact that they are a verified purchase on Ticketline (who also own Fanticks)
Have tried to contact them, but so far no response to email. No other means of contacting them.
FAQ advises that I should have received an email to verify the sale of the tickets - no such email received.
Update - Now over 5 days and listing is still showing as pending. Impossible to contact Fanticks or their parent company - Ticketline
