We booked an hours call with Farley Dwek's Nurse advice line to understand CHC and get some guidance. Carla our nurse was unbelievable, her knowledge was outstanding and she lead us through the process and took care to explain all the acronyms and how they affect care and/or CHC...her passion for good care and her nursing skills were more than evident she was outstanding at explaining the process and had taken great time to review our mother's details to give us solid advice.
We can highly recommend Farley Dweks if Carla is the level of expertise, care and compassion then it's of a very high standard and your loved one's CHC claim will be in great hands

Following a meeting with the CHC last year it came to light that my mums care home had charged unlawful top up fees for over 5 years.

I found the advise provided a clear view of how to best proceed when making a CHC application. The nurse led procedures helped me to understand what was needed to obtain a positive result. Claire, my advocate was generous with her time and clear in her explanations of the issues involved. Obviously, the outcome of any CHC application depends on the strength of the evidence, but the help provided by Claire was fundamental in making the journey much smoother on rhe way to obtaining a positive result.

We approached Farley Dwek for help following a CHC funding MDT that left us feeling let down and confused. The administrative team were very efficient and after an initial telephone chat, we very quickly received a call back from Andrew Farley to discuss our situation in more detail. I found Andrew to be extremely professional, reassuring, objective and well-informed. He gave me an honest appraisal of our situation and empathetically addressed our expectations from a position of wisdom and experience. Despite the fact we had not officially appointed his firm at that stage (we were still awaiting the CHC decision), he was very generous and gracious with his time on the phone/emails.

Thanks to Andrew’s guidance, we were able to articulate and feedback our reservations to the CHC and they ended up ruling in our favour. I enlisted Farley Dwek's help to provide an advocate at the CHC assessment for my mother's complex dementia care. Although CHC refused funding, the advocacy was very helpful, opening my eyes to the challenges of the process and how it works.
I would have given up at this stage, but Farley Dwek, not satisfied that we had been given a fair hearing, looked into the case in more depth, and then offered to appeal on a no win no fee basis, having resolved that CHC had made a fundamental error in their assessment. The appeal thankfully ended with CHC granting us funding.
The whole FD team were great: they gave clear, honest advice as to what I could expect, and pursued our case doggedly from start to finish. I can say categorically we would not have succeeded without Farley Dwek's involvement.

an extended period of time, seeking CHC on behalf of our mother. Every member of the team, with whom we had various communications with, were professional, courteous, and clear. I have just completed a very long drawn out CHC claim for my deceased mother.
I could not have done this without the expertise of Farley Dwek. The whole process is a minefield so I am pleased that I chose this firm to represent our family.
