This is my first experience with Fat Buddha Store. I found the jacket I was after and with a very reasonable price tag. The delivery was fast and the product is first class. I am a very happy customer and will undoubtedly buy from this seller again.

I'll do anything for a mini bag of Haribo, and fat budha gets that. I feel seen.

A great wee shop, family run and personable service.
I visited the shop on 12th December and was so happy with the vibrant the service in store. Great range of products and I left happy with my purchases. I saw the Peanuts trinket tray whilst there and my wife really liked it (she loved Peanuts growing up). I thought, yes, an opportunity to get a wee stocking filler, so I went online to the shop and found the trinket tray. Easy to order, pay and track. Delivered as promised and I now have what I requested.
We got chatting when I store and found out that this shop is an independent, family run business, who pay their staff a fair wage. For me, this is so important and it was evident in the vibe and the attentive personable staff. I can’t recommend Fat Buddah enough. In store and online.

Fantastic service
Fantastic service. The Red Wing laces weren’t just the best price I found, but they seemed to arrive almost the moment I clicked the Pay button. (There was also a little surprise gift enclosed but obviously I can’t say what it was ;) Really impressed!
Lovely clothes for lovely prices.
They had the lovely coat I wanted and I even got 10% off by signing up for emails. Very quick delivery via DPD and I could choose to collect it from a shop near work which was very handy.
Excellent customer service
Having frantically searched the internet for a replacement jumper for my son - for the one he had recently saved up for, bought and I just ruined in the wash! - I found one in his size in Fat Buddha in Glasgow (I live in south west). Started to order online but concerned about delivery times etc so ended up calling the store. Spoke to a really really helpful man, who not only advised on current delivery times but gave me a discount code as a first time customer. The jumper arrived the next day.
Would certainly visit their online store again as it is rare to find such good customer service.

Customer Service - we've heard of it..
Customer Service is not just measured as when things go well, but also how things are resolved (or not) when things do not go so smoothly.
I ordered a couple of sale items and tried to use the advertised discount codes which did not seem to work properly. No worries I thought, they can always fix things up post sale.
The items arrived fine. No problems there.
I have tried via multiple emails and phone calls to get the simple matter of the refund adjustment made, to get the price that I should have paid, sorted out.
Non-communicative via email, brushed off on the phone, I have had to resort to PayPal dispute to resolve this.
Beware of stores that go quiet when things need sorting out. You will lose a lot of time. And later on you will find reviews on Trustpilot and realise, you were not alone.
Edit: Update in response:
If you are genuine in wanting to prioritise this case, I would suggest looking into your transactions dispute queue over at PayPal - I trust there should not be that many entries to make finding my one difficult.
There is still time for Fat Buddha to do the right thing here.

How to lose loyal customers and keep trolling them!
Bought a pair of jeans for a night out, (£100) late evening and was under the impression they were closing so did not try them on so as not to hold the staff back. I got home and they did not fit so took them back 2 days later to exchange for a pair that would. They had nothing in stock that fit and they could not get a pair that would fit in time for the xmas night out I bought them for. They refused to provide a refund so I could purchase a pair elsewhere. I have been a loyal customer of over a decade and appalled at the way I was treated. Think this is very short sighted of the company. I will not be back after this experience.

Thank you for your email, Fat Buddha. There really was no need as it was basically a rinse and repeat of what was said in store and does not help.

Just seen this update below from Fat Buddha. This must have been after several emails back and forth in which I explained I had had to dip in to money I put away for Christmas presents to buy a second pair of jeans because they would not use a bit of discretion and refund the cost. I told them I did not need another pair of jeans but did need to recoup the cost.
I even asked them if they would buy the jeans back when it became clear they would not help. It got to the point where I felt they were trolling me when they said, quote:
"Unfortunately, we’re unable to purchase items back directly from customers, even when they’re unworn and in excellent condition. This is because we adhere strictly to our returns policy, which requires all returns to be initiated within 28 days of purchase and in original, sellable condition through our standard process."
Then went on to recommend 2nd hand web sites where I could sell the jeans. I think they found it entertaining. I found it pretty discussing. They only sell product. Other companies also sell the same products with better customer care be careful using this company.
I think the below response is an effort to save face!

Again Fat Buhhda tries to save face (see update on the 17th from them) and have the last word. No you will not get a 2nd chance and no I won't be back. Please get the message and let it go!

I agree their communication has been polite. However, it has not been professional. Nor has it been proactive. Professional would have been to say your company policy is inflexible and you do not provide instore refunds like you do for online purchases and leave it at that. Proactive would be to say ‘we understand you did not want hold our staff back at closing time and we thank you for your considerate nature. Under the circumstances we will use our discretion and refund the cost of your purchase as we could not provide an item that fit. Thank you for your loyal patronage over the years. We look forward to seeing you again.”
For anyone reading this. Let us see if Fat Buddha continues to politely troll away?
