No customer service at all

No customer service at all. I was a customer for 12 years. I asked for my auto renew to be turned off but they charged my card anyway and would not give me a refund. Please find any other hosting service but do not use Fatcow.

Been with this company for about 20…

Been with this company for about 20 years. At first they were good, now they are terrible. They have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ! They no longer have phone support and they do not respond to the support chat. They have been absorbed into Bluetooth, but Bluetooth will not give any support to Fatcow customers. You click the chat button, get sent to Bluetooth then Bluetooth says to contact Fatcow. STAY AWAY unless you want endless headaches trying to deal with your webhost company.

FatCow has now become FatFraud. They now hide and refuse to list any customer service number...indicative of wrongdoings. I was illegaly charged $300 dollars from my bank account without permission or authorization. ( this is a felony crime and investigated by the FBI) They dont answer their emails or chats! FatFraid is NO LONGER RELIABLE. Stay away from here. FCC needs to close them down..!!!

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! They auto renew when you have told them not to and refuse to give you a refund. It's very difficult to cancel any product you have with them and they'll just keep taking your money each year. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible

Horrible! First their service is unreliable. Then I cant get to my control panel most of the time it says to many redirects. They do not have any tech support. They charge double than what the others charge. I have been using them since 2008 as my secondary hosting company. I am transfering all my domains to Godaddy. Fatcow will be out of business in the next couple of years (my prediction)

Unreliable and Unwilling to Provide Tech Support

Tech support is nonexistent. I've been a customer for over ten years, and I can't even get tech support to talk to me. I signed up with them because they were positioned as an eco-friendly option, compared to others at the time. Now I'm finding that the company is less and less English-speaking, less and less reliable technically, and less and less willing to provide even long-time customers with anything that resembles support. I've spent a lot of money for a pretty basic business website that has been non-functional for months because FatCow refuses to support me.

I've had the absolute worst experience…

I've had the absolute worst experience with their domain services. I tried to make a simple DNS change A WEEK AGO and my changes still are not live. I've contacted support every day and have got the run around and them saying there is no issue, until today when they finally confirmed they do have an issue on their end and it will take another 24 hours to resolve. Completely unacceptable given these are changes that generally should take minutes and it will be over a week to resolve, and hopefully it actually is resolved tomorrow - I have no confidence given the experience thus far.

Fatcow has become a webhosting nightmare

I received a 2.5% increase (from $118 to $296 ($178)) in my plan with no advanced notice. The $ were taken out automatically months before renewal was due, FC phone support is disconnected, they say the cost is due to 1. Rising cost of technology and support resources. 2. To control inflation. This is completely unacceptable. Seems like a cause for a class action.

Do not use this service - abysmal everything.

Fatcow started out for me as a cheap way to host a domain and single email for many years. Over time, that decision became a huge nightmare as they slowly eliminated all forms of customer service and technical support to the point now where they have completely eliminated phone support. I tried transferring everything to another larger provider and I'm still dealing with the issues for a "cheap service". Do not use this company for anything - the end.

No customer service, unresolved email isseus

They host my domain and with it my email. My emails either go into peoples spam, I get a bounce back or worst of all not delivered and I don't know it. You can not call and talk to anyone at all. Only customer support is chat that will take a min of 30 minutes for a 5 minute conversation. I have contacted them nine times with same issue and they say they are working to resolve an issue where spammer share the same ip. This has been about 4 month of being strung along, time for a new host

Weeks of Email Bounceback without Resolution

I have given FatCow one star out of charity. They used to be a solid 5. For weeks now I'm getting bouncebacks from hotmail and other government accounts. The URL on FatCows email is server is spam blocked. Despite numerous service chats to their call centre in India they haven't fixed the problem. I get the same caned answers, about rotating IP which they either don't do, or do to further blocked URL's. I've heard all manner of excuses for the problem but FatCow aren't providing the service I'm paying for. If they have an issue with Microsoft then they need to sort it out, not me.

So I won't be resubscribing to FatCow and I suggest you find a reliable ISP.

Horrible service

Horrible service! I have used this company since 2009, however over the past 4 years I have experienced several site crashes and the horrific and frustrating customer service consistant denial of Hosting Service Fault. Once again my site is down today and nothing the tech could do but open another ticket. Highly upset and will most definately be migrating to better hosting.

NOTE: DO NOT HOST WITH FATCOW.COM = HORRIBLE SERVICE

I have had Fat Cow hosting for 12…

I have had Fat Cow hosting for 12 years. Up until 2016 they had fantastic customer service. Since then they have gone down hill. My email service is bad. Gmail works much better. It’s hard to cancel my Web Sites now but I am goin to look into it.
Possibly I can transfer the Web Hosting to another company

Kind of a scam

Fat cow raised my rate by more than 10 times what I initially paid. I had to speak with at least five separate customer service representatives to finally get them to stop filling there. Will this one work? Only time will tell, but he at least says he deleted my credit card information. Service is adequate, I suppose, but certainly not worth what I was paying for it. I am convinced that a large portion of their business model is continuing to charge people services have been discontinued.

Terrible email hosting service

I have been a fatcow customer/user for over 15 years. In recent years there has been a consolidation and their service has gone way down hill. They outsource all their support overseas and it is horrible…we used to have no problems with sending emails through our Outlook client and now many are not going through and Fatcow wants to blame outlook which hasn’t changed on our workstations for years. They finally admitted they had a problem and wanted us to use their email client roundcube. However, their only solution to use that client is to login to fatcow through my account and launch the roundcube client. Totally unacceptable or workable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE!!!!

Don't do it.

They will delete the editing tools you use to build your website without telling you, making it impossible to edit your website. Then after changing to a new editing tool they will charge you 2x as much and you will have to rebuild your entire website again, while they are charging you for it. The customer service people are not very helpful and you will end up fighting to be heard and to get a clear answer from them. It's a nightmare, don't do it.
