As previously detailed by some other…

As previously detailed by some other claimants they intend to take yours a number. There is not really any personal care. I have to admit that the staff at Staines are very nice people, and my work coach Graeme does his best to help. As I'm a qualified motor vehicle technician and have been for the last 44 years, the younger generation have a lot to learn, the staff are clueless about technicalities of any engineering, so, a completion of 7 batchelors degrees in different subjects leaves people giving a blank stare. When I was at school, there was no computerisation, all we had was blackboard, rubber and chalk, exercise book pencil and rubber. Out of school at 16 and straight into motor vehicle technician apprenticeship, no fuss or bother, 1 page form and face to face interview, 4 years on the job training and 1 day at college. How different it is now, even though fedcap are encouraging people in to work, it doesn't make any difference in regards to the attitude of the employers, 95% of them can't even answer you, on top of that 80 to 90 % of resumes are immediately discarded, which I think is very disrespectful. The uk isn't a patch on what it was 50 years ago. There's very little customer service and everyone is just a number. There's not much in the way of security, especially jobwise. People at Fedcap have got to start putting their customers first, instead of thinking about number one. Unfortunately, nowadays this is the way of a lot of people and selfishness is second to none. Thanks. David.

Fedcup Reading are the best

I can't describe how good they were and still are, I'm lost with words, deducted, attention to detail, very well organised, supportive, caring, looking out for me day by day until I reached my goal and landed the best job I was looking for .
This is a big thank you to Michael, Michelle, Amber, Coral, Jo and everyone who helped me at Fedcup Reading.
Well done guys and keep the hard work.

Absolutely brilliant help

My work coach with FedCap was Daniel. He was very patient and understanding. He would send me links to feasible jobs and was very encouraging when I didn't get them.
I am now starting a great job and I really appreciate how much his encouragement kept me going when I was despairing about ever finding anything

Where do I start with this place.

Where do I start with this place.. I would definitely not recommend going to this if your on uc or any type of benefits. All they care about is numbers not about there customers needs at all it’s all government funded this is what I’ve heard. If you suffer with an illness like mental health they don’t care if your having a bad day they still want you to attend there meetings if you don’t they make you feel guilty and make you look like the bad one. They also make you do irrelevant interviews or group things on what you don’t want to do for work or make you go to places where I don’t drive where I like to be local.

Awesome team!

My time with Fedcap continues to progress positively. My employment advisor , Claire Bennett has shown so much commitment, encouragement and passion throughout my journey to securing sustainable employment. It’s still work in progress but l am more confident than ever that l would find a perfect match for my career path and always look forward with excitement to our meetings.
It’s always a delight talking to Claire as she is not only concerned about getting me into sustainable employment by every possible means, she cares a great deal about how well l am coping and would always ask after my daughter.
This means a lot to me.
I have recently been engaging with Amber and Coral, all in bid to ensure that Fedcap delivers on their primary objective of sustainable employment.
I am thanking for the overall support l have received from the team including the personal development tips, learning content recommendations in the personal careers newsletter and the series of insightful workshops that l have had the benefit of attending.
Thank you Fedcap.

Thank for your help

I would like to thank the Fed Cap Reading, especially my coach Kim French and a wonderful lady Amber (sorry, I don't know her last name).
For 5 months, they supported me morally, helped me write my CV, register on job sites, prepare for interviews, etc.
As a person from another country, it was difficult for me to navigate the job search. It was difficult and sometimes seemed impossible. But Kim and Amber were always there to help.

Thank you to the entire Fed Cap team, thank you for being you, and I wish you continued prosperity in your noble and necessary work.

Charlie helped me get my first office role

Fedcap employment works with the job center for clients that are long term out of employment you are assigned a work coach just like in the job center my work coach's name is Charlie and he really surprised me with how much he genuinely cared about me and my goals. He always was pushing for me to go for these opportunities he found and even with a large caseload didn't rush me or make me feel like a number. I can't comment for every work coach there but Charlie really did go above and beyond and I hope he is recognized for that I'm actually starting my first role at my first technical IT company which he helped me prepare for not just though working on my CV but also making sure I was well dressed for the interview which really helped set me apart from the other candidates.
