Disappointing After-Sales Service
I had a very disappointing experience with Fietsvoordeelshop Amstelveen.
I made an appointment specifically because my e-bike has a persistent clunking/rattling noise coming from the front suspension/fork whenever I ride over bumps. This was clearly the reason for my visit.
When I dropped off the bike, the employee initially claimed I had booked a regular maintenance service. I explained that this was incorrect—I had recently had the bike serviced and was there for an inspection and repair under the 5-year warranty. He then changed the appointment in the system.
Several hours later, I received a message saying the bike was ready and that I could already pay €97.50. When I arrived, another employee started talking about software updates and maintenance tasks, even mentioning that they couldn't update the bike because it was locked through my phone. None of this had anything to do with the issue I brought the bike in for. After I asked him to check with the colleague who had accepted the bike that morning, he corrected the paperwork and confirmed that I didn't have to pay because it was a warranty repair. He also assured me that the front suspension problem had been fixed.
Unfortunately, that was simply not true. The very moment I got on the bike outside the shop, I heard exactly the same clunking noise. I immediately turned around and went back inside. After taking a short ride, the employee then told me the noise might be coming from the cables after all and that they would need to contact Gazelle.
This left me with the impression that the original problem had not actually been diagnosed or repaired before they declared the bike "ready." Had I not insisted, I might even have paid nearly €100 for work unrelated to the issue I came in with.
Based on this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere for future servicing. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Fietsvoordeelshop Amstelveen to others looking for reliable after-sales service.

I've bought three bikes from this shop over the past 10 years. As always, the service was great.
I cannot recommend this store.
First, I did not receive any manual or instructions with the bike. I expected them to be in the bag provided by the shop, but it only contained the invoice and service list. When I bought a similar (even simpler) model from the same brand for my wife last year, it came with a booklet/manual and tools for adjusting the seat and steering. This time, nothing was included except the charger.
Second, I received a message one day before pickup saying the bike was “fully ready.” However, when I arrived, the staff had to collect the bike, battery, and charger from different places, and even the leasing contract was not prepared. I’m not sure what “ready” was supposed to mean.
Finally, when I purchased the bike, it was in stock and I was promised delivery the following week. Instead, I received it one week later than agreed.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations. I cannot recommend this store.

Lastly, i didn’t experience a solution-oriented approach in general, except the manager who did her best.

Regretable company
One thing I talked to them, another thing I got home.
I order my bike in September 2023, and since I received the bike, the gears were skipping. For a bike that costs more than 1000 euros seems like money down the drain, and honestly it seems a lack of respect for the clients who are paying that amount of money.
Also, when I explain to the person that delivered the bike (their employees deliver it, not a postal company), he didn't care and just left.

I would give this a zero
I would give this a zero, but unfortunately this is not possible. We are now in September, and Fietsvoordeel has charged me 300 Eur for fixing the bike. Surprise surprise, the problem had nothing to do with the battery. Am I getting my money back for the 2 batteries? for the 2 home checks? No. Am I expected to pay AGAIN? YES. How is this serious?

Delivered with the incorrect battery
I ordered my Cortina E-Blau on the 1st of May 2024, making sure to order my e-bike with an upgraded battery and Art 2 bike lock. This is due to me travelling significant distances daily (hence an e-bike) and wanting to have a secure bike.
When my bike was delivered, it was delivered fully assembled. When I noticed that my battery was depleting very quickly (within one week), I checked my battery details and noticed that the 400 Wh was installed on my bike - not the upgraded 500 Wh I paid for. I immediately raised this with the company, and had to follow up numerous times, with little follow-up from the company (store and customer service). After 2 months of waiting, and many many many phone calls, including 2 visits to the store (including one visit where I was told the battery was there and it wasn't) I finally have the battery I initially paid for.
Throughout this whole process I have had little follow up from customer service, every time I was told I would be updated I was not. I have had to pick up the battery myself and have been offered no compensation or service for the time, effort and money I have spend to obtain the battery that I had already paid for.
I am very disappointed and frustrated with this whole experience. There was a complete lack of ownership from service during the whole process.

I bought the Gazelle Orange C7+ HMB 2024 from the fietsvoordeelshop in Amstelveen. The staff were really knowledgeable about different e-bike alternatives and they were helpful in explaining all the details about them in English. Overall, I had a very good experience and I highly recommend this shop.
Great service!
Weak communication
I chose the company because of good price, varations in products and 5-years warranty on most product. But there were a couple of negative experiences.
First, the communication is only possible via email. Before I get customer, I never get answers by email. After getting a customer I got a reply around one week.
Second, for an issue in my new ebike I have to go there every week with the same problem for 3 weeks. Finally they fixed the issue.
Third, when I bout my bike I asked to be delivered at home. They agreed. After one week there was no delivery, and no answer to emails. I had to go to the shop and as always they say we are very bussy. You can take your bike yourself.
There are more things but I skip them.
