Best Ever Chocolate Cherries
My first order with this company was for the Bodrato cherry chocolates as an Easter present for myself. They are made with Italian cherries which I have been told are the best type for liqueurs. They arrived in perfect condition, packaged beautifully and within the hour timeframe quoted. And they taste.......amazing!
I will definitely buy these again - my only problem being where do I hide them so I don't have to share?
I plan to try some cheeses next.

Fales promotion is illegal!
I received a promotion email from this company before Christmas. If I ordered before 16th Dec, I'd receive a 20% off coupon for my next order, so I made an order that was over £100 worth of cheese, but the coupon never came! I contacted them twice about it, they still haven't replied. Isn't false promotion illegal in the UK? I would not recommend them to anyone anymore, purely for the bad business practice!

Read all the reviews. All seemed good. Placed an order for my wife living in the UK. I am in SA. 15th Dec. Still hasn't arrived. Emails were answered once. Poor show. Didn't arrive for Christmas. Would not recommend. Very disillusioned.

Top marks Nick and if you ever get to speak to Murray you won’t regret it
I found the website user friendly and straight forward with helpful explanations of the different cheeses.
Placed my order well in advance with a delivery date of the week before Christmas.
Queue some delivery mishaps which are outside of this companies control.
However they were really helpful and resolved everything within 24 hours.
Special mentions to Nick for his computer skills in working out what address my cheese was mistakenly delivered to and Murray for a very enthusiastic discussion about camembert.
Overall, mistakes by 3rd party courier resolved efficiently.
I would recommend this company and use them again.

Very disappointing and extremely poor service from this company. Order placed and no delivery on the promised date. No communication, no responses to emails and evidently the Fine Cheese Co. does not answer the phone.

Having been a loyal customer of this company for many years, they have surprised and disappointed me this Christmas by failing to deliver a large order I placed back in October for delivery this Saturday gone. Only a generic response to my email, and no guarantee of receiving the shipment even now, two days late. On their customer services line for over half an hour in a queue. The only part they've got right so far is processing my payment!
Update: apparently DPD dropped the ball, here. It remains to be seen whether they rectify this and what they do to make amends.
Terrific company
Had a small issue with my cheese delivery which was quickly and efficiently dealt with. The cheddar cheese was absolutely delicious and I will be using this great company again

This is my favourite cafe in Bath. The coffee is the best I’ve found and the sandwiches are so generous with the filling it’s hard to be able to finish them. Make sure you leave room for cake, or take some home. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and always have time to chat and make sure you are 100% happy with what you have. Always met with a smile and perfect customer service. Highly recommend.
Excellent after sales service
I had some GF biscuits delivered , but inside the box for some reason were the wrong type.
I emailed the customer services department, and within minutes, I had a call from Lisa, who was very helpful, organised for me to send the batch numbers back to them in case non GF clients accidentally received non GF goods. She also sent more of the right sort, and followed up with phone calls.
Other service providers take note - this is the way to treat clients if you want their repeat business.
Brilliant Rescue!
I always think the true hallmark of a company is how they deal with things when they go wrong. I had a whole series of issues when placing an order (nothing out of the ordinary, though - we've all had similar experiences online) but the way Murray at Bath Fine Cheese responded was absolutely exemplary. Both in his tone and in the practical resolution, couldn't have been better. And they sell Red Wine Farmer - my all time favourite!

My son sent me a "classic cheese selection.
The all butter crackers were excellent, so much so that I ate them as biscuits and not with cheese. The Soft cheese (brie type) was superb as was the Stilton. Sadly the Cheddar was more like trying to bite through concrete, I assume that I was unlucky and got an old bit as I cant see anyone buying this more than once if my piece was representative of the cheddar in general, hence the 4 star review and not 5.
Same day, phone call from Fine Cheese Co, apologizing and sending replacement, what great customer service!
The replacement cheese was completely different from the original and is excellent. obviously just a poor piece originally. Many thanks to the Fine Cheese Co for their excellent customer service

Great products but I was shortchanged
The Baron Bigod was perfect, just at its best - but underweight. The Quickes hard goat was just short of fully ripe but that's as it should be & it's lovely today.
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Sea Salt Crackers are good but the box was half empty. A nice big box but when you look inside there's a tiny tray of biscuits & a lot of expensive nothing.
This company doesn’t fulfil order obligations but Cheese itself is good
Purchased a 12 month subscription of cheese deliveries for son’s Christmas present at cost of £190 plus postage. Purchased through Top Cashback and Fine Cheese Co were to pay me 8% Cashback. Now Top Cashback are highly reputable and I have never had any refusal for due payment from any other companies over the last four years. Have now heard from Top Cash, that after many attempts, they have been unable to retrieve any monies on my behalf back from Fine Cheese Co. Clearly Fine Cheese are using Top Cashback as free advertising. In other words despite my having fulfilled all order obligations, Fine Cheese Company are refusing to pay the due cash back. Cheese was good but not worth the money. I have not closed my claim for this Cashback and will keep on pursuing my claim due to sheer principle

Great cheese but courier could be improved
Helpful over the phone over choice of cheeses for a special dinner. Good customer service experience. Cheeses really delicious. Docking one star as courier’s idea of delivery was to balance the box on my garden gate and hope it didn’t fall off before I found it.

We used this company for our wedding ‘cheese cake’ . So many amazing compliments and everyone loved the selection of cheeses. We ordered a smaller version for our family Xmas dinner, again, such a great decision . Can’t wait for an other reason to use them. The cheeses are delicious
