Staff at showroom very helpful and knowledgeable
After the initial survey was carried out we were able to place or order and as soon as the fire/ parts arrived we were contacted by the fitter to agree a date for the installation
The fitters name was Marc and I cannot recommend him too highly. It was really interesting to see the amount of preparatory work he had to put in and we were delighted with the finished article

Installed fireplace incorrectly without following installation instructions. This caused risk of fire as stove installed too close to combustible material. Two years later we still have issues and can’t get them back to resolve. Have had the installer not showing up multiple times when he had agreed to come.

Staff in showroom were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
We found just what we were looking for.
Installer spent a lot of time making sure the new fire would fit properly. So installation went smoothly.
Small glitch with components was rectified immediately and we are delighted with our new fire.

Paid for the Chimney sweep and Inspection. Priced over £4500 for the job which i thought was ridiculous. Wouldn’t give me a breakdown of costs for the goods. Checked around online and found the same fire and flue liner online. Saved over £1600

Avoid

Very let down by Firegroup had our fire and surround fitted four weeks ago and still don’t have our fire connected to the gas supply.
As one of the previous reviews say the after service is non existent.
When we ordered our surround and fire we were assured by Sarah that Firegroup completed the work from start to finish which isn’t true as per the contract. Firegroup give the fitted to a contractor.
When you are originally given the cost the price practically doubles once they have been to your home to “survey” which is fine by the Firegroup and not the contractor.
We paid for the chimney to be swept “this was never carried out.
Be wary of the pricing as nothing is individually priced unless you push for this.

Have nothing but good things to say about the Firegroup at Stenhouse, Edinburgh. I was given a quality service from the moment I walked in, as well as brilliant advice when it came to choosing my fire and was kept up to date through the delivery process. Holly who works at the Firegroup was extremely helpful and friendly and I will be recommending this company to my friends and family. Thanks guys!

Love our new stove !

Hollie was fantastic! So knowledgeable and helpful - nothing was too much trouble! She made a home visit to see our existing set up and discussed all the options. We decided to purchase a new stove which would mean not have to change the fire surround. Hollie also recommended lining the chimney which we were happy to agree to.

Really happy with the end result !

We were really impressed with the after sales and installation advice and help that we received last weekend. Holly and her colleague answered all our questions and even took the time to light a woodburner there and then. Excellent.

Great sales staff - knowledgeable and helpful. Site survey was good and identified what we needed. The installation was appalling - we are having to have some of it redone and safety checked. After sales service was awful - "customer service" were totally uninterested.

Easy to find showroom, plenty parking, large display of all types of fires. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Best price given for the Contura. Delivery as promised. Love the finished job and having a woodburner. Would definitely recommend.

We bought a fire and the salesperson was called Sarah if I remember correctly, she was very helpful and friendly and made our visit a very good experience, all the staff we spoke to were the same friendly and polite, I would recommend and definitely come back. Thank you Karen Walker

We went into the Edinburgh shop to get advice on a gas stove. The initial advice helped us avoid a costly mistake over the size of our existing hearth. Once we resolved that we went back and bought the stove. I compared prices with internet suppliers and once I took delivery costs into account they were essentially the same.

Bought a fire and surround from Firegroup i the summer now started to use it good heat from it so so cosy when lit up highly recommend Firegroup 5 *****

What a brilliant company. The showroom has a huge range of different fires to look at to select the best choice for you and the staff could not be more helpful when supporting your decision. Both Hollie and Sarah were extremely knowledgable and patient, and made the experience easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be going back in the future.

After visiting different shops in Edinburgh and Glasgow I was delighted with the choice at firegroup. Hollie who assisted us was a joy. Professional and extremely helpful. As we were buying a fire from my elderly mother who is hard of hearing, hollie took the time to explain the process and products to her. In other shops she felt disregarded. Fire now fitted. Great job. Will return.

Really great service from showroom staff. Process was thoroughly explained and fire arrived within timescales. Installer, William Gibb was also extremely professional, knowledgeable and did an amazing job. Highly recommend.

The service & help I have received so far in choosing a new stove & surround has been excellent. Hollie has given us advice on the stoves, helped us to choose & keep within our budget.
Our experience so far has been very good and nothing was a problem to the Hollie which made it a much easier experience.
