Firestorm Kit 

It's is a shame that I can't give a better star rating for this company at the moment. I have read through the previous reviews and was very disappointed in what I read after I had made a purchase and began to panic that I wasn't getting my order. There are many truths in what people have said previously mainly down to the communication which is integral to any company however, I can't say that my experience in dealing with this company was initially bad.

The company seems to me to be in its infancy, and has got along way to go in achieve a good status within this area of retail. As with anything in the beginning there are teething problems and I am sure that the owners previous actions are something that he is not proud of as they were and are not good practice and are something that he has learnt from.

I hope that if he reads this he takes this onboard as not an insult or a bashing of his company but constructive criticism and builds on the failings as this is what a reviews is for, a way to get feedback and to see where you are going wrong.

So I short my order was as ordered, did take a bit longer than expected to arrive but did.

Communication either by email or phone needs to improve in order to give better customer satisfaction. I would suggest a dedicated smart phone for this then any emails for firestorm will come through as you can sync the email accounts to this and also the number can be contacted better.

My final thought is that a companies name is everything especially when selling military kit as many enthusiasts and military personnel will buy from you and if your name is dirty as it were they will not pass on a recommendation and word of mouth is a faster advert and carries more weight than a picture or TV ad.

Ordered a Bergen that cost £170 last Sunday, still haven’t had a confirmation of delivery. I tried to phone and email but no one answers. Just a waste of time I wouldn’t recommend this website to anyone, if you use this website and don’t get your item or it isn’t in a acceptable condition then visit the citizens advice website you will find information on getting a refund there. ( get a refund even if it’s a couple of pounds, don’t let them steal your money)

Ordered kit, it arrived less one item. Phoned them, the phone was constantly engaged. Sent an e mail it was ignored. Phoned again - number unrecognized. Have since read many online reviews on them from people with similar experiences, if not far worse. Though I have lost some money, it looks like I am one of the lucky ones.......AVOID.

Ordered a military multi mat. I didn't get a email to say that my order had been received so I emailed to enquire. Got an email back saying " we are currently on annual leave and will process your order as soon as we get back on the 10th April 2018. On the 12th my item arrived and was exactly what I ordered and in the time frame promised.
No I am not this guys mate, I have never met him and certainly wouldn't put something on that was untrue.
Thank you firestorm kit, you did what you said you would do. The star that is missing is for not putting an out of office message on your email explaining being on annual leave.
But in my opinion, great piece of kit, great customer service, great delivery time, email could do with a little work but still good as responded.

If your looking for kit absolutley, DO NOT EVER EVER use this guy under any circumstances .
If i could give less than 1 star I would - I can`t stress to you strongly enough that this is a con !! This is nothing more than a website with nice pictures but no actual kit !!
You go onto the site , pick your stuff , pay then your money goes out via ¬worldpay` (who also have a very bad rep.) and you never hear anything else .
All attempt`s at communication are ignored , E-mails are just not answered and the phone either just rings and rings or is cut off .
This guy / company is nothing more than a scam-your money is gone and you will never get any kit . DO NOT USE , AVOID AVOID AVOID .

I've ordered from them twice (about two years apart after I forgot what happened the first time) and both times they have not sent part of my order. They also do not respond to emails or their contact us form and their phone number always seems to be engaged.

Ordered 'British Army MTP PCS Combat Trousers' on 1st August 2017. No email from Firestorm Kit to confirm the order immediately caused concerns. No item arrived and several emails sent to Firestorm received no reply. They just don't communicate at all and from other reviews it seems i wasn't alone. Do yourself a favour and do not use this company to order any kit! You will lose your money and never see the item.

Ordered three pouches, offered an alternative for one which works fine. The alternative was offered after I queried where the order is. I've ordered twice from Firestorm Kit and have been happy with the products both times - but the communication needs some work.

Order never arrived, emails not responded to, telephone never answered. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Firestorm kit is simple, scammer, cheater and conman. And here is why, I will make my long story short:
1) I used to have business with him few years ago, at the beginning few parcels were fine, but then he didn't send me a lot of the stuff which I bought from him;
2) First he promised to fix everything, explained a load of mess using excuses like, his trip to India or blaming delivery or customer care, then he started to ignore all my emails, messages, calls. I then knew he just taking his time for a reason;
3) Luckily, he fouls me not for long and I have contacted my bank fraud department and initiate refunding procedure. While I made all print screenshots it was easy to prove my words because they whipped every time our correspondence;
4) After I got my money back they tried to take me to the court and blame me as a frauder, whom took the cloth and wants extra money from him. In his claim, he wanted to return money for the never delivered goods plus some additional fee for his solicitors. I decided to fight back and soon easy won this case;
5) He collects a lot of similar reviews like mine over the past few years that is why he clears all of them and started from the scratch. There was a lot of extremely positive reviews which was left by his mates or extremely negative like mine.
6) He regularly hiding comments and negative reviews on Google Review, that is why I can't find them and FreeIndex locked reviews by his request.
7) After an investigation, we found out he bullied customers, by calling them hundreds time from no caller ID or publishing your personal data all over the Internet because he has them now, your phone, name, address.

That is why in all cost avoid firestorm at all cost!

Best of luck to you are reading this review after you have bought something from him, don't give up and don't trust any excuse from him. Have a try to resolve the issue, make print screens as a proof and report to fraud team asap.

Update: 25th September 2017

The owner of Firestorm kit / KitGoGo ltd has now published my personal details publically which is in breach of the data protection act (he is known to do this when he spits his dummy out after someone leaves a negative review).

Ask yourself this question: Would you trust this man with your personal details and credit card details if he so quick to do such things when faced with a negative review due to his own appalling customer service?

I have now been threatened by the owner to remove my review. Not only will I not remove it, I am going to publicise it on every global review website. I will NOT be bullied for leaving a totally justified and factual review of an organisation which falls below what any person would deem as acceptable behaviour.

I have now reported the breach to the Information Commissioners Office.

Seriously folks, save your money, it simply is not worth spending it with this man regardless of which company name he is using.

And just in case you were not aware, he also trades on eBay under the name kitgogo_0. His reviews make him look good with a high percentage satisfaction rate, but actually dig deeper and read the reviews, it is mainly for stuff he has bought, not sold as a business, so the satisfaction rate isn't from people he himself has sold to but from people he has bought from. Someone else left a negative review on eBay for Firestorm Kit. The owners reply? I quote "The guy is a nob what can I say!" - excellent customer service there, excellent!

He is also selling on Amazon as KitGoGo.

Looks like he wants to close down the Firestorm Kit name and trade under another. Wonder why? Reviews too truthful for you?

Our friend,the owner of Firestorm kit, has registered a new company of which he is a director.

The company is called Kitgogo (web address is kitgogo.com) and is registered at his home address.

Can't comment on the new company as the website is still being built but one can only assume that the customer service won't be any different to what's already been experienced by many.

Ok, Let me put this review in words you can not misunderstand…….

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT.

EVER.

I placed an order for a Bergan and paid the "upgrade" of £30 which was for a better quality bergan, a yoke and a waterproof cover.

Order arrived and the yoke and cover were missing.

I have phoned more times than I care to count and have emailed multiple times to the point I have given in.

I have now raised a dispute with Visa to get my money back, have sought legal advice about making a claim through the small claims court, am drafting a letter to Reading Trading Standards and also Berkshire Police.

Enough is enough.

If you use this company do not expect to have phone calls returned or emails replied to.

Go and read the reviews and LISTEN TO THEM!!! People are not making this up for the good of their health.

Save your money and go elsewhere.

Oh, if you post even one single bit of personal information about me or any other disgruntled customers for example addresses, like you have done with other unhappy buyers, then you will be in breach of the Data Protection Act - trust me I know - it is my job and I WILL report you to the relevant authority.

Folks, save your self some heartache - go spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.

I will be copying this review on to every single review site I can find to make sure others don't have to go through the same pain that so many have had to endure.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - BUYER BEWARE.

Paid for Royal Mail 1st class delivery, they sent my order by My Hermes with a delivery time of over a week. A totally unprofessional man denied they offered that service and said it didn't matter how they sent the order as I would get it eventually, and compared it to his daughter getting the wrong colour phone from the mobile phone insurance company. He made a lot of excuses but never offered me a valid explanation or a course of action other than they had a My Hermes next door and that if I had wanted the order soon I could have used the next day service for almost £10, but my complaint was about it being sent by free courier on a much longer delivery window when I paid for a different, faster service. The man told me I could not speak to a manager as he said so. Hung up on me when I said I wanted to know what course of action they were going to take, and phoned me back after a wee while to say I didn't understand the delivery service they offer, gave me a few more unrelated excuses and accused me of wasting his time when he was the one who phoned me back.

They posted my complete private address on review site FreeIndex as a revenge. It's since been edited by the site, but I've been warned they can post it again...

Avoid like the plague.

I was pleased to find some items I wanted, some of it not easy to find in one place, so ordered quite a bit of gear.
It took about 6 weeks to be delivered; Christmas was blamed when I chased for information, but my order was made on 5th December so I should have had my delivery by then.
When the parcel arrived about a third of my items were missing.
I contacted Firestorm repeatedly, both through the website and by email.
All attempts at communication were ignored.
I am out of pocket and have never received several products that I have paid for.

They are really helpful and give me the best kit.

Got it just time for my cadet camp! just what i needed and the price for this bergen can't go wrong!
