recommended by my son inlaw . I used your car parking facilities during the first 2 weeks in early october . I was well pleased with the service I received. a phone call 20 minutes before i arrived at gatwick ensured there was an attendant there to take charge of my car . It was the same coming back even though i came back to gatwick at 3.00am in the morning.
received polite and courteous service from the attendants .
Overall was well please with service i received ( competitive price as well)

The price was right and the service was excellent with none of the bus fuss
My holiday horrors usually begin with parking the car and then waiting in the cold and rain for a bus to the departure terminal. Then you have it all in reverse on your journey home. But NOT this time or in fact ever again because I've found the perfect solution by using 1st Choice Parking Ltd. Simple & trouble free, I was met at airport carpark, after a quick check of the vehicle the polite driver then drove my car away & I took the lift down to the departure entrance - oh what joy !! Meet & greet at less cost than parking your car & having all of the bus fuss. I've already recommended this service to family & friends who have their own horror stories. Well done 1st Choice Parking! Thank you for being a good part of my holiday.

They gave us a small discount as we were a returning customer. Initally we went to the wrong car park so we were concerned when they were not there to meet us as planned, but we rang them and they put us right. On our return they met us promptly. We were very satisfied and would recommend them and use them again.

people were very reluctant to believe that I wasn't ripped off or my car used for other jobs while I was abroad!! I have to say that the twice this year that I have used them I was impressed by the efficiency, speed of service and price. It also saved the dreaded wait around for the service bus to collect and return you to your car.
The slightly slower service on the last trip I presume was the new system of not being able to use the arrivals/ departure areas to drop off and pick-up. However overall the service is as I said above -they do what they say they do!

You are correct that we did experience some 'teething problems' adjusting to the change in meeting point but we are now back up to speed and standard.
You are also correct that people expect the worst from parking companies as we have unfortunately been 'tarred with a brush'. There are some bad companies out there but I hope that people give us a go as you did and see them themselves what a great service we offer.

Faultless experience! Glad I ignored bad reviews!
I booked the meet and greet service last minute. I was so worried when I decided to read the reviews the day before I was flying and the majority were bad on the sites I checked. I called the head office where I spoke to a really nice lady and explained I was travelling alone with my baby and returning in the middle of the night so was concerned about the reviews I'd read and wanted to cancel. She reassured me, and explained people rarely take the time to write good reviews so in comparison to the huge amount of customers they have the bad reviews are a small portion. I stuck with my booking and was so pleased I did.
I was met by a friendly guy that checked the car and explained what I need to do on return. It was just a quick walk over to the terminal then when I landed I called them and someone was waiting when I got back to the car park.
It was such a relief after a nice holiday to get straight into my car when it's pouring with rain in the middle of the night.
In short I will definitely use First Choice again, I just hope they keep the prices so reasonable as that was why I first used them.

I paid for meet and greet but I got there I had to take our car to top floor of the car park and collect there as well. Not what you expect a bit misleading!!

You are correct that you did not get what you were expecting but this is through no fault of misleading information or First Choice on this occasion.
Unfortunately after you made your booking Gatwick quickly brought in a change, where they were no longer permitting the use of the drop off point out side the terminal-which is where you had booked to be collected from.
Therefore Like many company's we had to change our meeting point to the short stay car park as this was the most convenient place for our customers.
Because the car park and terminal are connected, upon completion of necessities with us, you then get in the lift and are in the airport itself.
I trust that you were advised upon calling the duty controller before drop off but apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
I thank you for your understanding and hope that bar the change in meeting point the service was efficient.
Excellent, convenient, friendly and makes all the difference to the holiday. Will definitely be using first choice parking again.

A trustworthy and professional company.
We have used 1st Choice Parking twice and on both occasions have not experienced any problems. When arriving at Gatwick the guy arrives within 5 minutes to collect the car and when returning we give them a call after collecting our baggage and they return with the car within 10 minutes. A 1st Choice Company.

EVEN AFTER MIDNIGHT YOU WAIT!
When we arrived from Faro, 60 minutes late, after midnight on the morning of 24 October, the person responding to the phone call asking for our car to be delivered, refused point blank to despatch our car, with a driver, to North Terminal, LGW, until we literally had our bags on our trolley. When we first called the bags were coming through on the carousel but he refused to do anything until we called back a couple of minutes later to confirm we were actually walking towards the car park. Of course we then had to wait for several minutes on the 5th Floor of /car Park 6 while he arrived. He then very rudely demanded from my wife that she give him the ticket stub and then he scurried off without another word - either to confirm that we found the car in good order or to ascertain we had everything and were satisfied with your service. I have to say we found this totally unsatisfactory.
On the other hand we found the service ver=y acceptable when we arrived at LGW on the outbound leg,

Unfortunately we are unable to dispatch a vehicle until all the luggage has been confirmed as collected. In the event that any luggage is delayed then a driver will remain waiting and this will cause a raise in the car park fee's which is payable by the customer we therefore wait until all luggage is confirmed as collected and you are ready to make your way to the car park as this keeps parking fee's down and prevents drivers from being held up in the car park waiting which has a 'knock on effect' to other customers and delays caused.
There are no excuses for a driver being despondent towards a customer or inefficient with regard to returns and I will look into this straight away as we keep a record allowing us to identify the driver that has acted in this manner.
We want all customers to feel that they receive a polite, friendly and efficient service and I apologize again if you feel this what you received.
I hope that you may understand the procedure our team must follow with regards to returning your car and that you would give us the opportunity to show you that we are a great service by giving us a 2nd chance and using us again.
No Hassle Meet and Greet!!
Everything was perfect going and coming back , waited a while for delivery but it was 5pm on a Monday !! I would recommend this service to other people

Reasons not to use the meet and greet service
This was the first time we had used 1st choice Parking and unfortunately this will be the last - we had previously used the meet and greet service of [External reference] and found that there was always a representative at the airport to meet and us and likewise on our return journey. We phoned to say that we were about 20 minutes from the airport we I fact arrived 25m ins later -not representative was there and in had to wait a further 10 minutes before someone arrived with no logo of the company showing we had to guess who he was. Its a good job we were no short of time for our flight
The return journey was not much better we did as instructed phoned in the baggage hall when we had collected our cases - we were told that someone would be there in about 10 mins - we hurried to the pick up point (floor 6 in Car Park) so as not to keep your representative waiting. We were waiting we other people from our flight who had booked with other companies all of whom departed before us - 30 mins we waited for our car. We paid for a meet and greet service but could have got to a car park instead. The idea of meet and greet is that you don't have to wait around - sadly not the case and unfortunately I don't think we would use your service again. I know that you have to get into the car park but this should be taken into account of your timings - think you need to go back to the drawing board

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the lateness you encountered. Punctuality is of upmost importance to us as are aware people have flights to catch/returning from long flights, so we work very hard to ensure customers are not kept waiting.
The 20 minutes time frame we offer allows us plenty of time to get to you as we are only a short distance from the airport and lateness is rare.
I was unaware that you had encountered problems as this was not reported, however I will now be looking into why this has happened and speaking with members of the team to establish a cause.
We appreciate your feedback as we us it to improve our service and prevent this from happening again.
I hope you will give us a 2nd chance and the opportunity to rectify this by trying us one last time so we can show you what a great and efficient service we offer.

very happy to use this service, easy to follow instructions to park the car in the appropriate car park - they were waiting on my arrival, it all only took a few minutes and, in particular, when my return flight was delayed I sent a text message to First Choice and they delivered my car two hours later than planned which meant that it was in the early hours of the morning; they were very polite and considerate and they did not charge any extra money. Would recommend their service highly.
