Misleading app tickets – money wasted
Same afternoon (2 Nov 2025), I first bought a Student Single in the First Bus app and learnt it wasn’t valid on that route. Fair enough. I then bought an Adult “Single Flat Fare-West Yorkshire” ticket before the next bus, which again wasn’t accepted. Total loss £4.50 and extra delay.
Marketing suggests you can get around Leeds with this one app, but many buses are run by other companies that won’t accept these tickets.
If these products are First-only, the app must say so prominently and warn users when a journey involves other operators. Please fix the wording and refund mis-sold fares.

At least Two No 51 Bus Services were at least Twenty Minutes late!! All too often these Bus Services are totally unreliable!! As a result, i had to book a taxi to ensure i made a Doctor's Appointment on time! They keep saying they want more people to travel on Buses, well then, they'll have to provide a more reliable convenient Service????

Yet again another shoddy service, The number 6 bus is still a lottery if it ever turns up.
Your expecting the bus to arrive as your being told by the computer board at the bus stop its 4mins away.
Six minutes no bus appears, but strangely another bus is coming up the road and it has NO SERVICE written up on the front, I bet ya that was the 6 bus due in 4 minutes that never arrived.
On the same day i went to get the bus back, It was raining not good but visibility was still ok and I had luminous on clothing so i was right out from the stop and getting soaked to make sure the driver saw me.
He slowed down and stopped but then decided to drive off with me wondering what the heck was his problem.
This service is absolutely terrible, and that on line app needs fixing.. You have ghost buses on there that never turn up, in otherwords they are on the system but then they vanish,further, they don't turn up.
I wanted to make a complaint about this and told to use the telephone service, whats wrong with your email service?
Everryone on the stop that is catching the bus all look at you like its something new, they are well used to this service either turning up or not turning up and all usually say "Ahh don't bother complaining you'll get no where, they don't listen"
Rely on public transport you'll be dead from all the frustration it causes.

So you have the 6 and 6A that go through Fenton and follow similar routes, then you have the 6c that goes on a completely different route compared to the other two, got on thinking I could make it to Fenton on time for a thing, only to find I was being driven to a completely different area. Just mark it as another number and not on the 6 route, so confusing and got and others late and to the wrong places

If possible would give negative number, totally & utterly unacceptable and unreliable company ,website a total joke . supposed live bus times are reliable as politicians promise,s .should be stripped of all their contracts.
FIRST BUS COMPANY No. 31 Route on strike AGAIN
This is the 2nd time in 2 months that 'First Bus' has gone on strike and cancelled the No. 31 Bus between Bayham St (Camden Town) and White City.
The worst is that it did not inform passengers either on-line or put up notices at Bus Stops on the route between Camden Town - White City. There is no notification of when this 2nd strike will end either.
Even when this pathetic service is working, it is always out of schedule, as as the saying goes, it's true... 'then 3 come together'.

My bus was due at 5:49 pm and arrived 3 minutes earlier than usual so it wasn't late as it was in the correct stand. However, the bus driver disappeared for half an hour, then came back with another bus driver and had said I had to get on another bus as it goes to the same stop whereas the driver didn't even know what stop I was getting off at and that was the bus I needed to get on. Who was he to tell me what bus I can get on to get to my own home?! Furthermore after another 5 minutes after this issue occured he let everyone on the bus with smiles and thank you and was ignorant towards me and stand out rude. I do not think this is acceptable to treat customer like this when the bus is there on time but still turns out to be half an hour late! Damn right ridiculous! This issue happens in Bradford interchange on the 687 bus, I do not recommend.
Driver very intimating
Had a altercation with a bus driver in Bradford (Harry Roberts a fellow passenger pointed out) was very aggressive and threatening and intimating.. made my 10 yr old little girl cry. Very scared and harrowing experience

All of the information in the app, on the electronic displays and the printed timetables contradict one another. The only consistency is that no matter what time each of them says, chances are they're all wrong and bus will simply not show up whatsoever.
If you complain you're given a half baked excuse. The lack of competition means the general public are paying increasingly higher fares for a service which is reducing in quality with every passing day.
Very awful bus company in Glasgow
Very awful company in Glasgow. I lost an item in their buses and reported it to them . They closed my case and didn't keep the CCTV without letting me know. I found out this when I called them asking about the outcome of my case.
In addition, Some of their drivers are lame, mean, despicable, and racist. One of them in service 77 closed the bus door today in my face and refused to reopen it without any reason. He's a despicable racist
