Fischer heaters are excellent - but very expensive to run
I have Fischer classic heaters throughout my property. The sales team and fitters are always friendly and quick, come on time and tidy up after themselves. The system, which I put in to replace oil-fired radiators, works great and, apart from having to constantly put batteries in the thermostats, it has been trouble free. My only complaint is it's enormously expensive to run.

Brilliant installers
Brilliant installers. No chit chat, just got quietly on with the job. Carpets covered in the work area. They brought a vacuum cleaner with them. They even vacuumed the bit of corridor outside the flat. Very impressed.

Everything went wrong. The young man that came out to do the initial survey got it completely wrong - his chaps turned up to fit and stated "cant be done"
It then goes into a long very stressful situation of "Its Fischer Way - or no way"
I have today paid the last of my bill. I was holding out as the first unit they originally fit "burnt out" and needed to be replaced. It was, but then we had no water pressure from the new unit and I was told to go in the loft and adjust the valves myself. I put my concerns forward as this may void any warranty.
I was promised a visit, the engineers phoned that morning and I assured him I would be in all day as I had taken another day off work. At 2.10 pm I received a txt to say hey would be with me by 3.30pm, I then at 2;30 had a txt to say the engineers were on my drive and could not gain access- how does that work when they weren't due until 3.30pm - There was no one on my drive and at no point had there been. I have full CCTV and can prove it. No one turned up and when I spoke to Fischer the next day they told me I had failed the appointment as I had not responded to any txt. I presumed as an appointment was booked and confirmed that morning, that the engineer would turn up.
Fisher have threatened me with Court action, they still haven't checked out the system for warranty and I have had to employ a plumber at a cost to myself to stop a leak coming from the pipe that leads to the unit - the pipe was installed by Fischer.
all in all a horrible experience. I have cleared the bill and put my hands up because this has had a massive impact on my Mental Health.

I am sorry to hear that you experienced an issue with your Aquafficient.
Having reviewed your account, I can see that we arranged to replace your Aquafficient. However, throughout August 2025, we made numerous attempts to contact you with no reply to arrange the replacement before we were eventually able to book the appointment.
Similarly, we scheduled several appointments to inspect your Aquafficient, but on each occasion we were unable to make contact with you. We called and sent text messages ahead of our visits, but unfortunately did not receive a response.
We also offered assistance over the phone regarding adjusting the pressure reducing valve (PRV). Again, we attempted to contact you on several occasions, but unfortunately there was no answer.
For reassurance, if you wished to adjust the PRV yourself, this is a simple and safe adjustment to make and would not invalidate your warranty.
Water pressure is very much a matter of personal preference, so the setting can be adjusted to suit your individual requirements.

Office communications need improvement!
To be honest, it took 4 months for Fischer to actually contact me, even though i made 8 calls and countless emails. All be it that i have a foreign telephone number!!! In the end they came to survey and quote. Here we are, fitted and running, no complaints.
