Voucher cant be used on Ebay
I bought an item from the Fishtec Ebay site. Great product and rapid delivery. Most impressed.
Accompanying the parcel was a letter from the Marketing Manager of Fishtec with a voucher towards my next purchase. I made anoither purchase from the Ebay site, but forgot to use the voucher so emailed to ask if the discount could be applied retrospectively only to be told the voucher cannot be used on Ebay!
If they send vouchers after purchasing from the Ebay site they should make it clear the voucher cannot be used on Ebay..
I sent an email to the Marketing Manager suggesting they clarify this in future but got no response. Disappointing.

Outstanding Customer Care
I bought a great fly reel in 2009 from Fishtec.It had a "lifetime guarantee" (does that really mean anything?).
The drag system has just failed 6 years later. I contacted Fishtec, who responded immediately. In a very friendly and efficient way, I was asked to return the reel. There is a very small handling charge involved, but that is quite fair enough.
I sent my reel back on Wednesday, hoping to have it back within a few weeks.
Here I am on Saturday, just 3 days later, with my reel in my hand. The main section has been replaced with a brand new one. My reel works better than ever.
If that isn't impressive enough, I have a discount voucher to use on my next purchase.
Well Done and Thank You to the Fishtec team - great work!!

Good service and products
Good value for money and great choice of products. Some other brands charge twice as much for similar products. Often they have lots of promo's also with free gifts, postage and money off plus loyalty points. Always helpful customer service too. Plus they are Welsh so nice to support a local company. :)
