Fizber helped me sell my home! Great, responsive service.

Fizber is a great service and great website to deal with. I sold my home, on my own, for more than a half-million dollars through an MLS listing I had purchased via Fizber. The customer service team at Fizber was quick and responsive, and great to deal with. The only negative I would say is I needed to stay on-top of my local real estate agent, whom was subcontracted to list my home - but this was not a representative of Fizber. I did a lot of research ahead of time to find the right MLS listing service for my home. In the end, it took me about 2.5 months to sell my home, but I absolutely have the service and MLS listing I got through Fizber to thank for my final sale.

Home Sold By Owner

1. Fizber and it's staff were very helpful in any questions that I had. Their web site looked great, however I received no emails from any potential buyers from the web page.
2. Mission Realty was the agent who listed my home on MLS, their staff was very helpful getting it listed and any questions that I had, they also set up the open house for me..
3. I sold my home By Owner with the "Open Houses" that I had thru MLS and HAR.com, that was extremely helpful, and you cant post on HAR.com unless you list on MLS, HAR.com is what everyone looks at.
4. It's true what some people have said on here, that the real estate companies Black Ball you if you are For Sale By Owner and will not show your property, I had 2 agents call me from MLS, once they heard it was FSBO no further contact.
Overall very good, I saved a lot of commission. And sold my home in 2 weeks.

Expect to do it all yourself with not much support

The only reason I went with Fizber was to list my house on MLS, which worked because it sold very quickly. However, since I was not a realtor I had no support on how to do the paperwork and the rest. The realtor assigned to us was not very helpful because you could only email him or else he would charge $25 everytime you called. So the buyer's realtor had all the leverage and could totally take advantage of us. If it wasn't for a realtor friend of mine helping us negotiate and fill out the paperwork correctly, we would have been in trouble.

Hi Jodi - Congrats on selling your home in Loop Vail, AZ! We are glad you received a full price offer quickly and that you saved thousands in the process!! Awesome!

We apologize if this was not clear when you purchased the Flat Fee MLS Listing. The benefit of the Flat Fee MLS Listing is to get on the MLS for a low flat fee and receive an offer quickly but it is certainly important to note that the services included in the $295 flat fee are limited to just getting on the MLS.

Our Flat Fee MLS Brokers can offer more assistance if you need it and we even have additional Fizber affiliates to assist but as you mentioned those do come with an additional charge. Realtors will charge 5-6% to represent you in negotiations, communicating with buyers agents and assisting with the paperwork so there is still a significant savings if you pay for the additional help, if you need it. Many of our FSBO sellers feel comfortable doing those things (or have a family member of friend that can help like you experienced) so the Flat Fee MLS is perfect for them because they just want the service of getting on the MLS for $295.

We are glad you were able to sell and save!

Worth it.

Fizber contacted me to post my FSBO home.i then purchased the flat rate MLS. My phone lit up with requests to show my home. We sold by the end of the month. Very much worth the effort and cost.

Everything worked as promised

We live in the midwest and were listing a rehab house in the fall- not good timing. Normally we would just do Zillow for sale by owner but we were not getting and calls from buyers this time. Fizber got us on the MLS with 25 pictures, in Realtor.com with 6 pictures and lots of calls from realtors with buyers. We had 3 open houses in the 2 weeks after we finished the house and they went quickly on the MLS. We had a couple of glitches but they were resolved quickly. 2 weeks after we finished the house we had 2 offers and one became a contract. Fingers crossed that all goes smoothly to close! We would recommend Fizber to anyone going for sale by owner and wanting to be in the MLS.

Don't let realtors scare you - you can do it FSBO, just like we did!

Using Fizber.com was 100% the best decision we made when selling our house. Off the bat, as soon as our property was listed, we had several realtors call and tell us what a huge mistake we were making (they're protecting their livelihood after all). But we stayed strong, and had a solid offer within only a few weeks of listing.

Some Tips:
- Definitely pay to have your listing in MLS!
- Do your research and find the disclosures, etc. you need to provide for your area once in Escrow.
- Offer a buyer's realtor commission or you may not get as many offers.
- Be super nice to the realtors that call to dissuade you, and keep reminding them they'll get commission if they bring the buyer!
- Once you're up on MLS, make friends with realtors that have listings in your area - they may be able to help you out with guidance on which disclosures to include once in Escrow.
- DEFINITELY get a good photographer in there to get some professional pictures - nice pictures make all the difference! (We found our photographer on Yelp and he was awesome.)

We chose to pay a buyer's commission to motivate realtors to work with us, but retained what we would have paid a realtor to sell it for us! There's a little extra heavy lifting, but saving 3% (almost $30,000 in our case!) was TOTALLY worth a little extra work on our part.

THANK YOU FIZBER - we couldn't have done it without you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great alternative to the conventional realtor

You have all of the control! That's what we love about fizber! You always control the house tours and viewing, the price, and who you sell your home to. We all the support we needed to sell our house by ourselves in 8 days! But what was even more astonishing, is that we sold it for 25,000 over asking price!

Do NOT accept unsolicited offers from Fizber

Within half an hour of skeptically accepting an offer from Fizber to list my (already-listed) home on "their" site, I had called back to express my concerns but had to leave a message. Their point-person had clearly been some college-age summer sales recruit, not a professional; and though he expressed in the initial pitch that he would be very responsive to any questions or concerns, once he had my info, he dropped me. I was extremely concerned, based on reviews of just such experiences, and called back within half an hour, as I said; but I was hoping that bad experiences were the exception, not the rule. I had already had a beautiful listing on Forsalebyowner, Zillow, Trulia, as well as Facebook and Craigslist. What I got from Fizber was a picture of some bushes along our side yard, and my address -- but none of my professional-level photos and marketing text. Which wouldn't bother me if it were only on "their" site, but it will apparently preempt and hijack my other feeds to Zillow, etc.

Whether or not their site and business are legitimate in other ways, their method of solicitation is misleading and unprofessional, to say the least. I would not recommend giving them any business, despite whatever they will say in response to this review. (Because they DO seem to have time to address negative reviews in great detail.) Date of my interactions with them is July 2016, so this is not an "old management" problem.

Hi Kristin –

We appreciate and respect your feedback. As we discussed on the phone with you this morning, we are located in Pacific Time Zone so your calls received from Eastern Time Zone came in after our regular business hours. However, your listing was created on 7/27/16 and we did call you first thing in the morning on 7/28 after receiving your messages in order to discuss your concerns and clear up some of the confusion you experienced.

For the benefit of others reviewing, we have sought to explain the points we spoke about with you today on the phone:

First, your Fizber listing was only posted on Fizber.com. We allow our users to decide whether or not they want their listing to be sent on to other websites. We offer this feature so sellers need to only to list on one website (Fizber.com) vs creating a listing on multiple platforms – we can take care of it for them. However, while this feature is free it is not automatically enabled at the time you create a listing…you have to manually enable and acknowledge that you would like this feature. Since you did not enable the syndication, your listing resided on Fizber only and did not replace or “hijack” any other listings you created.

Second, we sent you email confirmation when your listing was created and you since “disabled” your listing. When a listing is disabled on Fizber, your professional pictures and marketing text no longer appear (to protect your privacy and content). What appears currently is a default Google Street View image and your address – no other information. This is what you are seeing when you reference your listing showing “bushes along our side yard”. As mentioned above, this off-market listing is also just the default display on Fizber.com…it does not go to any other website.

We responded to you (by calling) within 24 hours of your listing being created on Fizber.com. We would have certainly liked to have spoken with you prior to clear up any confusion, however, the fact that we are on different time zones played a factor. We apologize that you felt like you were “dropped”. We value all customers, however, it can take up to 24 hours for us to get to all requests since we have over 50,000 listings across the U.S.

We do wish you the very best in selling your home!
