Ordered three pieces of oak on February 2nd, first delivery took about 3 weeks and two of the pieces were incorrectly finished and warped. They have agreed to replace but we're still waiting for the replacements on April 8th ...
I purchased some oak wood from this website for which they accepted payment. I heard nothing for over a month.
They did not respond to any attempt to contact them using email, the website messaging function and the phone number listed on the website.
Honestly so frustrating and I assumed that this website was a scam.
I raised a dispute with my credit card company which coincidentally invoked a response from Jake at FFD, again quite vague as in ‘I should have received an email and FedEx tracking number’ for which I still had received neither.
I responded to that effect again without acknowledgement.
Then a few days later I got the FedEx notification and my order was finally delivered. Date of purchase 02 Jan, date of delivery 12 Feb.
Clearly the company is genuine but they need to significantly improve on their communications and customer engagement.
As for the oak wood product, I am somewhat disappointed with the state and finish but at least I have something in my possession.
I took one star away for poor communication and a further star for the quality of the wood finish.
