Ian 68 year old Disable Veteran and I have not received my box of food after I talk to my coordinator evidently something went wrong so I called Food Smart to see if they could get in touch with my coordinator or give me a way to get in touch with my coordinator seven days ago they said that they were sending a message to my coordinator a call back today. Food Smart said nothing they can do well. I asked the lady why do I even have Food Smart telephone number and then when I first call she said the only way she can identify me is if I find my California card I never had someone to tell me that there’s only one way to identify someone so the act all professional but then when it comes down to me get an avenue on my boxes of food that they said nothing they can I jam a 68 year disable veteran do so I asked why do I even have your telephone number so it’s a waste of time to get in touch with Food Smart. I don’t even know why they have anybody working there because all they can tell you is they don’t know I don’t know they don’t know. I don’t know that is the Cyrus. I don’t know what why you would explain it to them, but it is sorry.

Totally useless. I was told by my insurer that I am approved for medically tailored meals delivery and it is badly needed. I was told I would have to have coaching session via Food Smart with a dietician in a weeks time as a prerequisite for the meals to be delivered. On the day of the call and subsequent to recieving many reconfirmations of date and time via text and email, shortly before the scheduled call I received a text saying that I had canceled and I should call to reschedule. I called, waited on hold for 40 minutes to pick up and finally was answered. I told the rep that I had not canceled my appointment. I was informed my dietician cancelled and fortunately had rescheduled another dietician to take her place. She informed me that the dieticians have until the end of the scheduled time to make the call . So a 11am appointment could theoretically be started at 11:59AM. Called again when the promised call never materialized, waited 30 minutes (a small improvement) spoke to a new rep who told me that the days coaching was cancelled and would I like to reschedule. Asked for an appointment later in the same day. Nothing available according to the rep. In the end set another appointment for a weeks time. I have no confidence this will happen and in the meantime I have to deal with a deficit of food. If at all possible find another source or you will likely be amazed (in a very bad way), disapointed and hungry if you need to deal with Food Smart. Please note they ask for your medicare medicaid numbers. Repeatedly. This place is so awful I am wondering if it is in fact a scam the harvests personal info for profit.

As an update: second called scheduled and second call a no show. This company is a complete clusterf*ck. Might as well starve.
