Winners of worst customer experience
Hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Ordered trainers, had an email saying my order was delayed, the 4 days later another email confirming that I had “cancelled” my own order. Tried to contact customer services and got absolutely nowhere. Now you have to wait upto 14 days to see if I actually get my money back. Footlocker are awful.
I would not give them a 1 star waste…
I would not give them a 1 star waste time they company is ordered some trainers still waiting over week now and will not cancel my order then trains have been reduced by £50.00 pound they do not care please do not shop with them there customer service is rubbish i will never buy of them again
Very disappointed.
Very disappointed.
I placed an order with Foot Locker and never got a confirmation email for delivery or store pickup. Luckily, I had a screenshot of my order. When I went to collect it, the store said it was past the 10-day window — but I was never notified! It’s now been over two weeks, and I’ve received no refund or cancellation. They took my money and gave me nothing. Terrible service — avoid ordering from them.
Ridiculous customer service
I will never shop at Footlocker again. Bought £150 worth trainers which had only been worn a few times but became faulty which caused damage to the feet. I explained this is a manufacturing fault as the material felt sharp like metal but I was refused to have this sorted due to 'wear and tear' the shoes were overall in new condition but they weren't interested. Once you've purchased goods they have no after care service!
ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY!!!
ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY!!!
Placed order on 22nd Sep, we are now 29th Sep and I have chased dispatch 3 times. The last time was this morning. I called customer services who assured me that if my order was placed successfully, the item would of been in stock and would be sent ASAP in next few days. 35 Minutes later, i get an email to say AS PER MY REQUEST, MY ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!!!!! I AM ABSOLUTELY LIVID. THEY HAVE KEPT MY MONEY FOR 7 DAYS AND THEY NEVER HAD ANY STOCK. DIABOLICOL - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Diabolical customer service & never give full refund for returns!
I was offered a complimentary Crepe Protect service in-store, but later found it was itemised on my receipt as a paid service, with the cost quietly deducted from the trainers instead. That’s misleading and, frankly, illegal.
When the trainers didn’t fit, I returned them. The sales associate was unprofessional, rude, and argumentative - even with the very staff member present who had originally offered the service as “free” and confirmed it at the time. I was then told I couldn’t receive a full refund because the Crepe Protect service (which I never agreed to pay for) is “non-refundable.” How can something that was free suddenly become a chargeable, non-refundable item?
I left without my full money back and had to chase customer service. After endless back-and-forth, they told me to return to the same store to collect a £5.99 refund - as if I’d want to step foot back in there after such a terrible experience.
This feels like a deliberate way to scam customers and hide behind “policy.” Footlocker needs to train their staff properly, stop these deceptive practices, and treat customers with basic respect. They’ve lost my business permanently.
Horrendous customer service
My parcel never arrived but DHL had sent it had been delivered. Footlocker are a nightmare to contact and I had to send several emails to tell them I had received my order. They treated me as if I was lying, made me fill out claim forms (sent by PDF to make it difficult) and refused to refund me. After numerous emails, frustration, inconvenience and being out of pocket, they finally told me that the courier was unable to deliver the parcel because nobody was home. They said they couldn't resend the item but would give me my money back in two weeks time. No apology no form of compensating me and I still haven't received my refund yet. Absolute disgrace! AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Trainers sent without laces
Trainers sent without laces. How is that possible? They say their quality check must have missed them but how can you miss it. Very obvious on black van trainers. Want us to return but they are out of stock now. Ridiculous.
DO NOT USE!!!!
Seriously! Do NOT order from this company! they are thieves and liars! sent two pairs of trainers back as didn't fit properly and they only refunded one pair saying they postage was only enough to return one pair! they clearly have some kind of scam set up with their courier service! i am now down nearly £100!!!! vile company!
Scammers!
Returned an expensive pair of trainers and they said they received an empty box and will not issue a refund!
Absolute scammers!
If you do a bit of research you will find they have done this to many people!
Do not use this company!

Absolutely awful service it has gone on…
Absolutely awful service it has gone on for months. I just wanted my money back. Item arrived at warehouse yet they’ve disputed it. Tried every possible way to resolve the issue. In the current situation you’d think they’d value a loyal customer. I will never ever shop with them ever again. Left me out of pocket. They will never take accountability and make you go back and forth. Disgusting service non empathetic replies. DO NOT Shop with them go to JD sports instead!!!
DO NOT BUY from Foot Locker UK — A Systemic Failure, Breach of Contract, and No Shame
Order number: 31900440246571395136 — New Balance trainers (Beigetan-Beigetan)
Invoice: OBS16254391 (Paid 8 August 2025)
I paid Foot Locker on 8 August 2025. As of 19 August, my order still hasn’t even left their warehouse. DHL shows “Awaiting Carrier Pickup” — meaning the parcel was never handed over. That’s 11 days of them holding my money and providing NOTHING.
Instead of fixing the issue, Foot Locker insulted my intelligence by replying with a copy-paste “check with your neighbours” message. How can I check with neighbours when the parcel never even left their warehouse? Either customer service didn’t read my email, or they simply don’t care.
To make this circus worse, on the very same day they emailed me asking for a product review — for trainers I never even received. Their system literally congratulated me on an order that hasn’t been dispatched. That is how broken their processes are.
And this isn’t just me:
• Thousands of other customers report the exact same thing: weeks of delays with orders stuck at “Awaiting Carrier Pickup.”
• Refunds promised but not processed for weeks.
• Customer service copy-pasting irrelevant nonsense, with no escalation or accountability.
• In many cases, orders get cancelled months later with no effort to source the product.
This is not “bad luck” or an isolated mistake. It’s a systemic failure and it shows that Foot Locker UK does not respect its customers.
Let’s be clear:
• This is a breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
• Taking money and failing to supply goods is an unfair trading practice under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
• Foot Locker is not a bank. They have no right to sit on my money while providing nothing.
I will not accept a refund as resolution. The trainers are now out of stock, which means if they try to refund me, I lose the exact product I paid for. They are legally obliged to honour the contract and supply the trainers, even if that means sourcing them from another warehouse, another country, or directly from New Balance.
On top of that, I am entitled to compensation for:
• The 11+ days of unreasonable delay,
• The lack of communication,
• The insulting and irrelevant responses,
• And the stress caused by their incompetence.
If they don’t resolve this immediately, I will escalate through:
• Trading Standards (for breach of consumer law),
• A Section 75 claim with my credit card provider,
• And the Small Claims Court for specific performance and damages, including statutory interest at 8% under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
Bottom line: Foot Locker UK’s system is a joke, their customer service is worthless, and their respect for consumers is non-existent. Unless you enjoy paying for products you never receive, being fobbed off with template replies, and being asked to “review” items that never arrive, stay far away from this company.
wished i could give zero stars!
returned TWO pairs of trainers and only refunded for one! they can't locate the second pair! strange since they were all in one big box VERY securely fastened! there is either theft going on at their warehouse or by the courier either way i will be reporting this! i am not prepared to out of pocket due to scammers!
I was a bit concerned ordering a pair…
I was a bit concerned ordering a pair of Lacoste sneakers as I read some terrible reviews but my experience was very positive and I can not understand why others have not had the same experience. The service I received was perfect , the price I paid was excellent. The shoes were delivered in very good time and in perfect condition. I would definitely use foot locker again
Went to Oxford St shop
Went to Oxford St shop. 3 children. Not able to measure feet. Felt like 40 degrees in shop. Not bothered shop assistance. Queue to pay 6 deep. Far from
A pleasant experience. Will not be doing again
Sell faulty goods with no support
Sell faulty goods! Didn’t even last a month. Want you to send them back but will only refund not replace. So you end up out of pocket.
Don’t even reply to emails when you question what they say.
I wouldn’t buy from them again.
Awful customer service.
Due to sizing the first two pairs…
***interesting Kjay reviewer experienced same issue see below, FRAUD alert***
Due to sizing the first two pairs ordered had to return and order one size up for both pairs. I returned two pairs incorrect sizing ie too small back on the same day. They are claiming only to have received one pair.
I called when I noticed they had only refunded one pair and was told they have gone to different parts of warehouse as one pair men’s and other ladies and told to call back in several days. I waited and called back had to escalate again and today I receive an email saying they could not locate one of the pairs returned and will not get a refund. This is theft and will be taking legal action action and using social media to promote awareness. I am down nearly £150. Under the consumer rights act 2015 I provided you proof of return they are legally obliged to refund. Has anyone else experienced this as this is theft and fraudulent activity?
Very quick
At first I was worried because all I saw was bad reviews but I had no problems what so ever I bough the shoes on a Sunday and I got them on a Tuesday. Very quick.
