Customer service is offering ZERO assistance and not solving issue at all.
My experience with them is about one order with two items, where FootLocker decided to split the order into Two , where second order never arrived as they never sent it out.
Then they have decided to make a refund, with an "apology" and offering 10% discount🤦♂️, (initial discount in order was 25%).
I really suspect this is all done on purpose so they dont send out an item You as a customer purchase with 25% discount.
Refused to refund shipping costs for damaged item
Paid £4.50 for quicker delivery - it still wasn't very quick. The shoes were a gift for someone, and I was working very long hours (12+ hour days back to back) on a very intensive project so didn't have any time to go shopping.
I received the delivery with what looked to be a hole kicked into the box. There was mud caked around it, chunks of mud inside the package and mud on the shoebox inside.
I didn't have time to return the whole order by taking it to the nearest Foot Locker due to my work hours. I couldn't return to a collection point either as I didn't have anything to package it with. I couldn't reuse the existing box as it was so badly damaged and I don't have anything else I can use (or packing tape to try to repair the existing box). They kept saying that they have made returns free of charge but it's not free if I need to buy materials for packaging.
Even if I had been able to do this, I would still not have a gift for the person I ordered them for as they wouldn't redeliver an alternative in time.
So I asked Foot Locker to refund me for the shipping. It seems like a really simple request - I should not have to pay £4.50 to receive a box that has been so badly damaged. They repeatedly refused, and some of their messages to me were extremely patronising "I trust you can find time in your schedule to do this", "perhaps you could ask a friend or family member" - it's ridiculous - I paid for a service that was not acceptable, the burden shouldn't be on me to make it right.
They offered me a £10 discount on a future purchase (minimum spend £20 - so I'd be out of pocket by £10 to get any kind of compensation from them).
Based on other reviews it seems I'm lucky it's only a small value that they've ripped me off for. It looks like they mishandle returns often so it may have been even more frustrating if I'd have been able to go through their returns process.
Order delivered to an address over 80 miles away!!
I placed an order at the beginning of may for 3 pairs trainers paying for this partially using a gift card. The trainers were delivered to an address over 80+ miles away and were not offered to be resent. I then had to wait for the other part of my order to arrive in order to arrange a return.
Out of a 'gesture of good will' for the inconvenience i was given a 10% discount code but this cannot even be used on the original order that went missing. How can i trust to ever shop with this company again when there customer service aren't capable of resolving issues originating their side ensure a customer receives a good service. Every time you speak to customer services you get a different person respond which lacks consistency and a generic response which never gets escalated.
Disgraceful service
Took ages to get the order. They didnt fit (not their fault) but used their very own returns system to generate return via DHL ecommerce. Dropped off at drop off point on 7th May....today is 21st may and they are not with footlocker apparently. and when icontacted footlocker they are not interested and said until it is scanned by dhl it is my repsonsibility so i will be out of pocket. unable to get anyone at dhl and footlocker are not interested
Footlocker Lakeside Shopping Centre - Pathetic experience with Store Manager
Dear Foot Locker Customer Service Team,
I am writing to share my disappointing experience at your Lakeside Shopping Centre Grays with your store manager regarding a pair of Nike shoes I purchased for my son.
The shoes, purchased just three months ago, have developed significant defects, with stitching coming off at the front on both shoes. This appears to be a clear manufacturing defect, which I expected would be addressed appropriately under the warranty that Nike provides.
However, when I visited your store to resolve this issue, the manager's behavior was shockingly unprofessional and rude. Instead of addressing my concerns empathetically, he immediately began making baseless assumptions, claiming my son must have used the shoes for sports like football, which is not the case. Despite my clarification that the shoes were only used during regular school hours, he became defensive and dismissive.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the physical receipt. However, I provided proof of purchase by showing the transaction details from the exact date of purchase, including the amount paid. Despite this, the manager refused to accept it as valid proof and declined to return or exchange the defective shoes, citing the absence of a receipt as an excuse.
This interaction left me deeply frustrated. The manager not only disregarded the poor quality of the product but also failed to uphold the customer service standards expected from a reputed retailer like Foot Locker. Nike promotes a two-year warranty on its products, which should have been honored.
As a result of this unsatisfactory experience, I was forced to purchase another pair of shoes for £60, despite having spent a significant amount on the defective pair just a few months ago.
I strongly urge you to:
Investigate this incident, including the store manager’s handling of the situation.
Provide clarity on your policy regarding defective products and acceptable proof of purchase.
Take appropriate steps to ensure customers are treated with respect and empathy in the future.
I hope to hear back soon regarding how this matter will be resolved. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
Sincerely,
Disappointment Customer

USELESS!
Ordered three pairs of sneakers in womens size 4. They sent all three in size 5.5. Returning them and getting a refund is nightmarish. Please avoid this company at all costs - its a very expensive mistake to deal with them. I would have given them zero stars if i could.
AVOID!!! SCAMMERS
Foot locker UK is an absolute SCAM!
My son got money for Christmas and bought himself Nike shoes online from footlocker.co.uk. He bought the size that he normally would go for but this time around the shoes were very tight and after checking T&C on their website we decided to retune them.
Shoes were returned via DHL and delivered few days later, as per courier website.
The refund was delayed therefore we have sent the message via their chatbox to their customer service to be told the return is being processed.
30 days after they received the shoes they sent us the email stating that the CASE has been CLOSED and NO REFUND will be processed because the BOX was EMPTY (with no sign of box being tampered)!!!!!
I have sent multiple emails to them and ask them to refund the money, as we returned the shoes to them. They asked me if I have a proof that the shoes were packed and sent 😡.
I have sent them the screenshots from DHL page showing the weight of the parcel but they still refused to pay the money back!
I’m taking them to the small claim court but just wanted to warn everyone from this scammers!
Please AVOID them as hell.
I suspect they have someone working at the warehouse who process returns steeling the shoes and selling them for their own benefits.
I’ve literally had things delivered…
I’ve literally had things delivered faster from Australia and NZ than this company manage with the UK. Avoid unless you can wait an unfeasibly large amount of time.
If I could give them a Zero I would
If I could give them a Zero I would. I bought a pair of shoes for my daughters birthday which never arrived. When contacting customer service even after it shows on their system that the parcel is lost they have the audacity to ask me to ask neighbours if they have my package. Finally they admitted that they don’t know where the parcel is and that it’s late and that it’s disappointing that it missed the deadline for the birthday.
I then said either send me a new pair or refund me in full.
No, sorry we now need 10 working days to investigate before we make any decision.
But you took my money you can see that the parcel is missing I now need to source from someone else plus await 10 days and more before you refund me.
Awful awful awful. Avoid avoid avoid avoid.
I wish I had done my homework better as reading now, I see that others just a few days ago have had the same bad experience with them.
Faulty Hoka bondi 8
Purchased a pair of Hoka clifton a year ago. Absolutely fantastic shoes, no issues, still as perfect as the day I bought them. Love them. So decided to buy another pair. Went to footlocker, bought a pair of Hoka bondi 8 (a mere four months ago). The inner heels are wearing away. Consumer affairs act 2015 states that items, such as shoes, should be durable, study, fit for purpose, free from defects etc, these clearly are not meeting any of these legal requirements. I contacted hoka who passed me to footlocker, who want me to complete a 2 hour round trip to return the shoes to a physical store for assessment (most likely so they can refuse a repair or replacement and give me some nonsense non legal reason why they won't repair or replace (which according to consumer affairs, when items are faulty, within the first 6 months, the onus is on the trader/manufacturer to prove the defective items weren't faulty at the time of manufacture/purchase). I own around 12 pairs of shoes and non have worn away inner heels after only 4 months of light use (I'm disabled and can't walk far so the shoes have had minimal use). So to force me to drive 2 hours to have a pair of defective shoes examined is pretty substandard customer services. Not to mention the added fuel and parking costs etc, instead of just sending a returns label so I can send them off for repair or replacement. If you want shoes that work, fit for purpose, durable, sturdy and do what they're designed to do - be worn for more than 4 months without falling apart then buy a different brand. Avoid hoka and footlocker if you value your time and money. Very disappointed with the Hoka bondi 8.
Update/reply to hoka/footlocker
As suggested by footlocker customer services, I took the shoes to my "nearest" store - 1.5 hour round trip away. This store refused to help me, giving various excuses as to why they couldn't help (different till system, sales only shop etc) and told me to take them to the original store for repair or replacement (the original store being in different city 2 hours round trip). I contacted sustomer services again who claim I could have taken the shoes to any store but they offered to help me online. Again not giving me a returns label so I could return thd shoes for assessment but I sent them images of the receipt, the box and the shoes. Apparently it takes 5 - 10 days for a response from quality control. Again not acceptable really. So I emailed the CEO and customer services again requesting a repair or replacement. I await a response. I'm now minus a pair of shoes, minus £125 for the shoes, plus minus £15 in fuel and parking costs and counting.
Update:
Reply for footlocker quality control team. The shoes, in their opinion are not faulty material but damage from the way I put the shoes on and off. As a veteran of shoe wearing for over 50 years and never had this issue with a single other pair of shoes I find this insulting to say the least. I also find it fantastical that footlocker can determine faulty material or workmanship by merely looking at an image instead of physically examining or testing the material in question. Again, I have repeatedly asked for a returns label in order to send these shoes to be examined, repaired or replaced.
Have communicated back to footlocker, exercising my rights under consumer law for a repair or replacement officially.
Hoka also kindly offered me a couple of solutions but I will wait to see what trading standards advice is tomorrow when I speak to them.
My credit card company also have given advice about a charge back potential.
I have zero intention letting this issue rest.

Appalling company
Bought new balance trainers from footlocker online. Within 3 week, the rubber pads on the bottom started to detach. Footlocker have COMPLETELY IGNORED MY COMPLAINT AND WONT RESPOND. APPALLING COMPANY. Avoid at all costs, disgusting company to deal with, ripping students off.
Rubbish
I definitely do not recommend this store, damaged packages, problem with return, today I spent half a day to return the packages to the store via DHL, half a day wasted because they could not scan the return labels, I contact the store and absolutely nothing!!!!
This is a joke, so much money for shopping, and they also create problems, but now I see what opinions the store has and I'm not surprised.!!!!
Would never recommend
Really disappointed with this company as I ordered some expensive trainers on the 24th March and DHL have said the order has been delayed. Until yesterday when I was sat in my address and got an email saying that DHL couldn’t access my address (I live on a main road). I contacted DHL for the third time and they said they had lost the parcel (lied continuously for over a week). I’ve had to spend more time asking Footlocker to investigate where my parcel is. Now I need to wait another 5 days for a result. I just want my money back so I can order form a reputable company. Wish I’d done my homework before I ordered from this useless company. Would never recommend
Abysmal online returns - only buy if you want to keep!
I ordered a pair of trainers from Foot Locker, which were delivered on 5th March. After deciding I no longer wanted to keep them, I returned them via DHL, Foot Locker’s approved returns partner, on 17th March. The DHL Express Service Point confirmed the return was accepted but was unable to provide me with a receipt for the transaction.
I allowed two weeks for the return to reach Foot Locker and be processed, yet by that time, I hadn’t received any acknowledgment or communication regarding my return. I attempted to track the parcel through DHL’s website, but this proved unsuccessful. In fact, when I visited the convenience store I used to send the parcel, I discovered it had never been accepted by DHL! Luckily, the shop had kept my parcel and I now have the trainers back.
Upon further inspection, I realised the fine print on the return label specifies that I cannot use a DHL Express Service Point, but must instead use a DHL Service Point. Despite using the locator on DHL’s website to find an appropriate location, it only showed options within 10 miles, with not one 'none-Express' service point available in my area. For context, I live in Manchester, a major city – not a remote location.
Today marks the 28th day, the final day of the return window, and I am now forced to drive 11 miles to return the shoes in person at a store.
As a well-established UK retailer, it is completely unacceptable for Foot Locker to partner with a returns service that is so difficult to access for online returns. This frustrating and time-consuming experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I will seriously reconsider shopping with Foot Locker again. No other company has made returning an item this challenging and inconvenient.

Got up this morning at 6 o clock…
Got up this morning at 6 o clock because footlocker advertised that jordan 1 85 bred were going on sale again I could see the countdown time on site now all of a sudden there all gone took off website. What a bunch of cash grabbers sold out backdoor as usual. But having to get up so they could waste my bloody time . Hope they go into liquidation
Avoid
To keep it short, I purchased a pair of shoes that didn't fit, so I returned them. I then packaged it up with the provided label, however, the label didn't work in the DHL shop. I contacted up, and they said the only alternative was UPS. Not only was I several miles from home without access to a printer, but there were no UPS shops nearby, and I was already going out for the rest of the evening, so I had to post the shoes there and then. As such, I had to resort to paying out of my own pocket to ship them. I picked DHL as it is a partner of Foot Locker, but despite this they outright refused to reimburse me for any shipping and wouldn't escalate the matter to a manager.
Con artist selling counterfeit goods
1 make sure when sending a 189.99 pair of trainers that one of your crusty staff team members don't try them on and crease the shoe before the person buying the product has even got it.
2 They are also fake jordan retro 11s.
3 make sure you have plenty of people to answer emails straight away to fix issues.
4 before sending the product out make sure there are no imperfections what so ever
