I've used Formymobile several times now and I've always been successful. Their clear precise dissassebmly instructions allow anyone with a little bit of DIY flair to accomplish
a repair that would cost ££££'s if carried out by a dealer.

This time I had to replace the touch screen on my Samsung GT- S5230 Toco Lite. The price for the part was extremely low and I paid more for the delivery than the part itself, but I chose this ! Sure enough, at 07.25 the following morning my package arrived and within 38 mins. my mobile was back in service good as new. Superb service overall.

Thought my mobile phone was terminal after a brush with gravity.....not so as Formymobile.co.uk came to the rescue. Easy to find a replacement screen via their website. Also easy to order and quick to dispatch. Attaboys all round.

The online guide for replacing my phone's screen says in particular:
“Tools required for disassembly: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card.”
There is no mention of any soldering in the guide.
Having not been able to use the screen on this phone I have been without a phone for a while – unable to replace it partly as a result of lack of funds from lack of work – partly caused by a lack of phone!
Therefore I decided to give this site a try, having repaired several ipods and the like in the past I did not think this job to be beyond me.
As I said I saw no mention of soldering being necessary in the guide or I would have thought twice, as my only expertise in soldering has been on significantly larger circuits!
Therefore, after disassembling, and suddenly realizing I now needed to do some minute soldering, I struggled for some time to remove the connection between the old screen and the phone’s microphone, but succeeded in the end. Attaching it to the new screen’s board was an entirely different thing however, with my not wanting to damage the mic – it is a phone after all! – so perhaps being a bit too cautious when trying to make the connections.
Anyway, having put it all back together, yes the screen now works, but I am unable to make phone calls – at least ones in which the other person can hear me!
They really need to revise their online guides for they are certainly lacking and a bit of a con as a result!
Very disappointed in this site - will be advising to avoid!


I stand by my opinion that my review is entirely fair! It is also backed up by the fact that you have chosen to not reply at all to my direct email - so it appears your after sales support is severely lacking also!

The screen of my Nokia 2220 developed a large black area. I was amazed to find formymobile that they supplied parts and for £5 my phone was up and running in under 5 minutes! The fitting instructions were just superb with actual pictures of where to unscrew and how to get parts off. The screen arrived within a couple of days of ordering so very efficient. I felt very good about myself that I had repaired my phone so cheaply and quickly. Would have no hesitation in recommending they are "simply the best"!

I needed a replacement LCD screen for my Sony Xperia Tipo after somehow it was broken - I blame my brother. After searching through various websites including ebay, I came across this website. At first I was a bit reserved about the price as it seemed too good to be true in comparison to some ebay sites which were asking for at least double. After researching a lot into the site and looking at reviews I decided to give it a chance and buy a new screen along with the tools needed.
I was not disappointed. The delivery was super quick and it was very well packaged. I was emailed fitting instructions to help to take apart my phone and fix it. The LCD screen itself was very high quality and it looks just as my original screen. I would highly recommend them to my friends and I will definitely use them again in the unfortunate event that my phone breaks again.

I got confused when ordering a new screen/digitizer for the iPhone 4 (I didn't know whether it was the 4 or the 4s).
Like an idiot, before checking properly by using the 'A' number on the rear of the phone I went and ordered what I thought was the correct one.
After realising my mistake, I ordered the correct one, and pondered what to do about the wrongly ordered item. I sent an email explaining what I had done wrong, and asking what could be done.
As the item had not yet been despatched, I was refunded in full with no problems whatsoever! This is why I will ALWAYS use Formymobile whenever I need replacement parts! If only all online retailers where this good!

I ordered a replacement screen for my Nokia Lumia. It wasn't the cheapest online but it was advertised as a genuine part. It came within days and within 20mins of it arriving through the post it was fitted to my phone with no problems.

Nokia C3, Not working properly, screen not operating and rolling all over the place. As I was due an upgrade got a new Samsung. Thought I would have a mess inside ! I found this company on the internet and found that for £6.00 I could get a new "thing a ma jig ".
or screen !!. The part came 2 days after ordering. I have only ever took the back off the phone to change the Sim card, so the inside was a mystery. Followed the instructions on the web site and now I have a perfectly working spare phone. Thank you

Ordered a replacement screen for Nokia Lumia 800. Part was a genuine Nokia replacement AMOLED screen, exactly as described and delivered in two days via the standard Royal Mail option.
