I recently brought a house with fox and sons, in the beginning I was really happy with the service but soon realised it was a lot of sales for themselves. My house was beautiful and sold itse... See more

Fox and sons Worthing are incapable of…
Fox and sons Worthing are incapable of fulfilling my one and only simple request. They telephone me regularly asking if I would like to sell my property. I have asked nicely many times that they take my details off their list. They always apologise and say that they will but they never do. Incompetent, if they can't perform the simple task of updating their contact list, how can you expect them to market your property ????
Really poor viewing experience, with poor mortgage offer from advisor.
As a potential buyer, I don't appreciate being mislead with information. I enquired about a house and was told I'd be the first to view the property, this was not the case at all and lost out because of this.
The mortgage offer given was not at a good rate VS other high street providers, so would advise using them as a last resort.

A great company
I would have no problem recommending this company. They are very efficient and friendly. Nothing is a problem to them. I was looked after by David Johnston and he was very knowledgeable courteous and friendly no question was too much for him he is a credit to your company. Thank you David x
Unfortunately this estate agents harass…
Unfortunately this estate agents harass you if they get sniff of your either wishing to sell or rent your house.. got knows how they know. If you go on the market with another agent, they will cold call at your door to steal the business. We were considering renting our house unless we got the right price at selling (selling through local fab Exp agent in Salisbury, Adam Budd).. I don't know how F&S caught wind of this potential renting plan but they harassed me with calls and even turned up at my front door. Unbelievably unprofessional company who lie, cheat and cold-call to get a sale. Bad reputation.
I’ve had a great experience with Aaron…
I’ve had a great experience with Aaron from Southampton. With a few teething issues from another branch, Aaron took over and got me everything I needed within a very reasonable time limit. He used his initiative on what he needed and caused me zero issues. Couldn’t believe how efficient he was. Thanks for all your help.
Exceptional service, Yushin was brilliant!
We received exceptional service from Fox & Sons. Our agent Yushin was brilliant. He found some really nice properties matching our criteria that we hadn’t noticed ourselves, and he booked us in to view them within a couple of days. He offered great service, info, and knowledge during the viewings and followed up quickly with answers to our questions afterwards.

Staff terrible at communicating…
Staff terrible at communicating resulting in huge bills. misinforming throughout the renting process about insurance policies which are a scam resulting in surprise charges.
We rented a property and was told to not worry about normal wear and tear for example paint coming off in kitchen due to not being fit for purpose as not washable/ oil based (so unhygienic!). When raised to them in inspection they said it’s been kept very well and will be fine because we have insurance and we get hit with a £450 bill to repaint the whole property and ceilings and all woodwork…..
This is despite us already paying £250 for the insurance in the first place which they told us covers things like normal wear and tear and explicitly told us painting would be covered and ‘not to worry!’
Due to bad communication even had a house viewing at our property that they expect to come to any time and an hour after the agreed slot without just dropping a quick text or call and forced entry into the property when I was recovering from a surgery and explicitly told them not to enter without someone present to let them in.
Overall terrible experience the agent can make a huge difference on your experience renting, ultimately the bad communication and lack of clarity and transparency resulted in surprise bills.
if you are a buyer avoid them
Appalling service. I had an offer accepted on an apartment in early August and as of Sept 10 had still not heard from them. Phone calls and emails go unanswered. when I finally got one of them on the phone his reaction was the immortal words - well if you need to pull out then do that. If you are a buyer avoid them like the plague
Thank you Taila for all your hard work…
Thank you Taila for all your hard work dealing with an anxious landlady. Despite failing boilers, issues with the windows and guarantors you got it over the line. Thank for your help PJ
Terrible
Awfull. Fraudulently signed a disclaimer for me for a tenant that was NOT suitable for the property. When this tenant refused access for a water leak problem the agents took 3 months before they were able to gain access. The agents were absolutely useless and blamed the tenant. The more urgent the problem became the more they procrastinated. My 84 year old neighbour has had damp walls for 2 years now. This cost a lot of money and stress. They worked for the tenant but not the landlord. On top of that the service from the manager Lorna (Hastings) was rude and patronising.

Sly Fox & Sons (a warning)
We were hoping to sell our cottage asap to be in the catchment area to the hospital our disabled daughter needs for urgent, ongoing specialist treatment (currently 4 hours away).
Fox & Sons listings consultant Rachel Bull came to the cottage (early evening, 2nd May) and did a thorough job (2hrs) telling us all the things Fox & Sons could/would do for us.
Ms Bull said that as a highly saleable property she would set-up an 'open house' type day with a few consecutive viewings for the following Saturday (11th). Her assurances and enthusiasm gave us the confidence to sign the contract that evening (big mistake!).
After the 'property description' and some photography was done... with the addition of a couple of my own shots... as Fox & Sons were "restricted to the amount of shots they could have from the photographer" (ie. didn't want the further expense).
Our cottage was listed on Friday 10th May. However, nothing was set up for the 11th and the following Saturday (18th) there were only two viewings arranged... and one didn't show up!
We'd asked for some amendments to the Floorplan (amended by myself in Photoshop), but we were given the excuse that "The person who does the floorplans is off sick". The floorplan never was amended... and we doubted floorplans for new listings were hindered in this way. We'd also asked a few times for a printed spec sheet, but never got one... and none of the potential purchasers had one either.
Ms Bull originally told us there was a two-week "cooling off period" and with only one further viewing arranged for the tail end of the following week, we emailed her on the 10th May, to say we had indeed 'cooled off'. Ms Bull informed us that although it wasn't listed until 10th May, we signed the contract on the 2nd May... so were outside the cooling-off period, but that she would personally oversee the marketing and viewing schedule... so we agreed to give her another few weeks.
We'd also noticed that the 1.2% rate we'd agreed with her, wasn't in the contract. Instead, there was a fixed rate (based on the top valuation), which would still apply if we reduced the asking price (which we later did). Assuming/hoping this was a simple admin error, Ms Bull's actual response was: "We always tell sellers to read the contract before signing". This left a very sour taste in our mouths.
Fox arranged viewings of roughly one every other week, but the viewers had apparently told Fox that their primary interest was Haywards Heath itself with its town amenities (and London train link). Although only three miles from Haywards Heath, the amenities our village offers (a highly rated primary school, a couple of convenience stores and pubs, village community with village hall and green) are a different prospect from a town centre.
On July 10th we informed Ms Bull that we were taking it off the market and asked for the 'For Sale' board to be collected (we'd already taken it down). Ms Bull said they'd get the board picked up, but that despite having given them the stipulated 28 days notice, the contract was still to run until 19th September (in effect 71 days notice!) with no marketing and no presence on Rightmove or Zoopla!
Now, several days beyond the supposed 28 days notice period, restricting us from putting our cottage with another agent doesn't actually benefit Fox & Sons in any way. It just makes life more difficult for us...
... and the 'For Sale' board still hasn't been collected!
Although too late for us, local village friends had confirmed that Fox & Sons (Haywards Heath) don't have a great reputation. We've put this review on Trustpilot to help other home sellers.

Unprofessional Demeanor
The Crawley team, particularly Branch Manager Kane Caulfield, displayed unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful behavior.
They wasted our time by not responding promptly to our inquiries, forcing us to follow up continuously for weeks—both regarding our initial offer and when the property came back on the market.
When we decided not to proceed with the offer, Kane Caulfield began speaking to us in a rude and unprofessional manner.
We kindly request that take appropriate action regarding the Branch Manager's behavior.
WARNING: FOX AND SON PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS A HEALTH HAZARD!
WARNING: FOX AND SON PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS A HEALTH HAZARD!
Their cunning name is a perfect match for their deceitful service! I've been plagued by ongoing water heater issues and a gaping hole in the wall, putting my health at risk. Despite my repeated pleas, they've consistently ignored and dismissed my concerns. It's clear they prioritize profits over people's well-being!
Don't be fooled by their false promises and incompetence. I'm fighting to escape this property and warn others: AVOID FOX AND SON LIKE THE PLAGUE! They're a liability, not a management team. Share this warning with everyone you know! #FoxAndSon #PropertyManagementFail #HealthHazards #Incompetence"
Leah was very professional
Leah was very professional. She took time to explain her role and approach towards selling houses when she showed us round a property.
So when asked to value my flat, she was honest and clear in her appraisal.
Applied for an MIP with local firm…
Applied for an MIP with local firm thinking would get a more personal service. Tried back in early July and no response for a few days so decided service was not great! Wanted a responsive service. Then decided would have another go and sent salary slips as requested to the broker 19th July. No response at all to date! Now going to go to an online national service.
Honest review from potential client
Honest review from potential client. After arranging and attending an appointment at my property on Friday I was informed by Rob the branch manager he would phone and email me that evening. After no response I emailed again Saturday and then again on Monday requesting a response for a valuation. Both emails were ignored. Phoned Tuesday to request a response and was given an apology and informed that I would receive a response today as I explained I was awaiting valuation. Didn’t even have the courtesy to phone back either way. If this is the way they treat potential sales and clients I wouldn’t trust them to sell anything let alone a property. Total waste of my time and now I will have to arrange another agent . Avoid
